Nah it’s auto trim, once it hits a certain rpm I believe it auto trims to level out on plane

Mercury sound gash and you say "starting up"? Yeah Mercury only start normally for about 100hr then get issues so could be there all day trying to get them going. The game has moved on, merc got desperate and crammed a v12 in so they could get some press interest. Normal humans want reliable yamahas and if we were desperate to get 600+ from an overweight engine then Seven Marine have us covered so it's about time Mercury realised they need to sort reliability out and maybe even challenge the likes of Suzuki in the 25 category with DF only some of their bigger motor tech. In 2021 only a fool would put a big Mercury motor in any boat, half the parts are chinese
