Thank You for this very informative video!! I borrowed one of my ex-husbands power washers, and have been having a hard time, to even just use it once! Lol. It wouldn't start so I bought a new spark plug and ended up cleanimg out the carburator and the ports, drained the old black oil and put new oil in it and bought a new carberator gasket. Finally got it to stay running good, then seen the wand is cracked and spraying water all over me lol, 5 minutes into power washimg my bricks on my house the nozzle tip clogged! So... I took the wand apart, it wasn't as easy as "turn while pushing-in and pull apart" !! Lol, But I finally got it apart.. I looked at my local stores to buy a new wand, and couldn't find one for under $60!! So I researched a little bit and came across your video, and gonna go to my local plumbing store today. I took a screenshot of the fitting on your video,of the parts I'll need.. Thanks again!!!
Your cart was used as a portable overhead projector stand. Fold the wings now and it moved through doors and isles. Raise the wings and you have a place to put your overhead slides as you are presenting.
I received my pressure washer th-cam.com/users/postUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP over the weekend and decided to wait for the sun to come out before firing it up. Was needed to clean the deck. Our last pressure washer broke a couple of seasons ago, and I just hadn't replaced it yet. This one had great comments, so here we are. It was easy to assemble, and the trigger wand is comfortable and easy to hold for long periods of time. The pressure washer worked great and made quick work of the "TN North side algae" that inevitably grows every year. I also washed all of the deck furniture while I was at it... it all looks great! So far I am happy with this purchase. I plan to climb the ladder to wash siding over the next couple of days, will update if I have anything else to add after that!
@@robertrossi8997 you can just Google 1.1 foam cannon orifice and several options will pop up. I recently got two for a couple bucks but can't remember which one I ordered from. Big difference. Sorry I'm a year late, just noticed the video is a year old! Lol
Ordered this right away and it just arrived today. Seems to be well built. Give it a try in a couple of days and hope it works as great as I think it will. Thanks for this info on this.
Alan, some people were commenting that this is not fitting in the portland washers. They gave me a corrected link for the parts that do fit. I'd suggest trying it ASAP as you might need to return it. I'm very sorry about the mix up.
Got a sunjoe from walmart an spent an extra 140$ for some pro grade accessories now my whole system is well worth the time n effort for cleaning my vehicles
Took some measurements, inside receptacle on the handle = 23.64 mm. The stock plastic wand = 22.65 mm. The steel & brass wand = 24.25. So I needed to lose .6 mm somewhere. I used a Dremel and ground down the inside of the handle. Works great now.
Awesome! Thank you so much! That is exactly what I was looking for to upgrade my two electric power washers. Now I can attach all the professional attachments with this adapter. Great video!
That table you reference is something that most apparel retailers use so a supply store that sells to apparel retailers will most likely be selling something like that
If you ordered one I have to appoligize as I'm now being told that kit will not fit the Portland PW. I hope you can cancel it. That said I posted the correct links in the video description.
The table you asked about with the sides that fell down that is an old typewriter table. Back when we had typewriters before computer keyboards. So you probably won’t find those anywhere other than maybe yard sales or thrift stores. I doubt that they make them anymore since we don’t use typewriters anymore.
This is a great attachment piece. I would change out the O-ring and get a slightly thicker , high quality o ring on the brass extension. Also if your gun already has a 1/4 connection on it where you put on the pressure washing nozzles. This whole kit is more than what you need. The main thing that you’re getting from this kit is the foam cannon. You need to buy a 1.1 mm orifice and also find a good soap to water ratio especially if your using $3 soap like me lol. It gets thick unlike the foam cannon that came with my 2578 sun joe, which only game me soapy water. it’s nice knowing I have a backup wand, and back up nozzle attachment. Will be having fun with the 25 degree nozzle.
Bad news, some people were commenting that this is not fitting in the portland washers. They gave me a corrected link for the parts that do fit. I'd suggest trying it ASAP as you might need to return it. I'm very sorry about the mix up.
I took a slightly different approach.. Because my wand for the "Portland" had internal leaks, I just a a proper QD fitting put on the hose end, do I can use the wand, nozzles, and foamer from my high power gas driven pressure washer. For cars and boat, I use the low power electric ... for concrete or paint removal, then I fire up the gas.
Wish this was out a couple months ago, i ended up getting the rigid power washer wand that has quick disconnect but this wouldve made it easier than switching between wands
Great info and video. Tired of all the troubles and leaks from my gas washer and have been considering this HF unit for ease and simplicity and this "hack"/ ad on makes it comparable on everything except pressure. Thanks man.
It's funny. So this is the first video I've watched of yours outside your home... Being in Montana, I always imagined you living in like.. the WOOD woods with some ma and pop type stores. Lol. That neighborhood looks really nice!
What's the difference between a foam Cannon and the regular bottle that comes with the Portland? Is it just that a foam Cannon has the ability to adjust flow/pattern?
For the table, that looks like a old style office typewriter table. I used to deliver these back in the mid 80's. I would try used office furniture store
Harbor freight now sells a new wand that has the quick adapter. You can also use a ryobi replacement. It also has the Bosch adapter and quick release on the other end.
I'm getting feedback that the set with the foam cannon won't work with the portland. It has a slightly larger adapter, sorry. I put links to the new parts in the video description. Sorry!

Is that the thickest foam you can get with this type of pressure washer, or do you just need a better soap and better foam cannon. I've seen foam in other videos that is as thick as shaving cream.
Did HF recently change the wand on the Portland washer? Mine is about 2 years old and I bought the kit you have linked. The fitting is -similar- but is slightly larger. The pipe is a bit larger diameter, the fitting gear is a bit wider and it just doesn't fit
