    Been making soap for year now. I still find it satisfying to watch other soapers….I have soap OCD, I cringed at how much soap you left behind in the containers😩. Oils and butters are expensive.

      🤣🤣 it’s funny you say that . In my previous videos I’ve mentioned that ingredients are expensive and we need to get every drop of soap out of the container. For this video however, it was waaaaaaaayyyyy past my bedtime😭🤣 and I wasn’t about to spend an extra 30mins scraping a container so yeah I left a little bit of soap in there and the finished product still came out beautiful 🤩😁.

      Heyyy yes I’m still reading and responding to comments ☺️. I don’t have the exact measurements since it’s an old recipe but I will share my oils. Avocado, olive oil, coconut, shea, castor.

    Thank you for sharing , I make natural soap too , i only use natural colours too and essential oils or leave them unscented for sensetive skin.
    This one looks like a loaf I made recently with abc and turmeric and honey and swirled it with a chopstick too .
    Love your soaps, thanks !

    I find it extra satisfying how you cut your soaps. I still like to use a single cutter because I love cutting soap lol. Congratulations on nearly 1k! I would love to see you and your brothers! The namesakes of your soap company, that would be awesome!🥰 I have a little question, I hope you don't mind my asking you? I noticed you cut yours in 2 different sizes and as I cut mine a coulpe of different sizes too I just wondered how you go about pricing the differnt ones. I'm never sure what to do with mine. Thanks and if that's not something you want to share that's totally fine too.

      Hey, thank you❤️. So I’m actually the mom lol 😂. 3 brothers and a sister is for my 4 children (1 daughter and 3 sons). We’ll go live along with my husband so just something small to introduce everyone and show our appreciation to all of our subscribers 💕🥰..
      For pricing I’ll pretty much us the same format to price the smaller bars. I charge between $1-$2 per ounce and add .25 per label, additives, box etc. I hope that answer your question. If not let me know💕.

    I love your videos and you got me axious to start soaping again. try mixing 1 tbl sp of your batch oils or olive oil to 1 tsp of charcoal or other fruit/veg/herb powder per 1 lb of the total amount of soap you are making and then pour it in and it will disperse better in your batter and you wont have to worry about the clumps. I love your swirling for the tops too! So beautiful! I am a soap addict so I love it when soapers like you do the rustic look for soaps💌💌💌💌

    Fiquei pensando ..porque ela que tem mais facilidade aí em ter aqueles cortadores múltiplos dos sonhos ela não tem. Aqui no Brasil 🇧🇷 temos uma moça reproduzindo parecido comprei facilita demais e corte preciso todos do mesmo tamanho mas confesso um dia ainda terei o importado ele é lindo e dos sonhos. Gostei do resultado do seu sabonete obrigada

    Beautiful soap 😍 how do you prevent soda ash? Any tips you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

    • @3baashandmadesoaps937
      @3baashandmadesoaps937  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you 🥰. To prevent soda ash I do a 10% water discount. For example if my recipe calls for 10.75oz of water I enter 90% (remember I took away 10) x10.75= the new water/liquid amount. So that’s 90% x 10.75= 9.67oz my new liquid amount is 9.67Oz. This should eliminate your soda ash. Hope this helps. brabmleberry.com is where I learned about discounts lol.

      1. you can also spray alcohol to the top of the soap once you pour it into the mold. or 2. If you don;t mind adding a step, once the soap is done, and before you cut, you can steam the top with a steamer, and let it dry for a minutes/ or an hour before cutting, you'll have to touch it to be sure it's ready to be cut. The steam makes your soap top really nice and shiny, and no soda ash.
