This has to be one of my favorite soaps you've made! I usually prefer the lovely off-white from the goat milk soaps, but this soap is just fabulous! I love it!
Thank you for these wonderful videos. Your voice is very relaxed and soothing, and your soaps are like a piece of art. Thank you for sharing your methods ❤
Hello Holly, very beautiful soap, I am always waiting for you to upload your beautiful work, God bless your wisdom and talent, cordial greetings from Cuba.
Wow, I really like this swirl ❤. I love making soap and watching your videos too, they are so relaxing and you have such a nice voice, I love your southern accent 😊. Thank you Holly for another wonderful video.
Again wonderful recipe, thank you so much Holly 🙏 Cocoa butter is getting more and more expensive. It has become very difficult to obtain it in my country. Can you suggest an alternative instead of cocoa butter when making soap?
No, food coloring isn't recommended for coloring soap, as it can morph, fade and stain. If you're selling the soap, definitely do not use food coloring. Food coloring is not approved for use in any skincare products!
olá holly, gosto muito do seus trabalhos. Estou começando a fazer sabonete estou inspirando em você resido em TEIXEIRA DE FREITAS, interior da Bahia, aqui as coisas são mais dificeis mas não vou desistir.
I tried making these after watching god knows how many of Holly's videos :D But currently facing issue of rancidity when lather forms. Otherwise the soap smells completely fine. Anyone has any pointers?
@@brigidlaffey7343 yeah... I have been trying to troubleshoot it for a while now. I use coconut oil 76 degree, rice bran oil, and shea butter. Not at all sure what is going wrong. The coconut oil and shea butter are of high quality. The rice bran is regular cooking grade. NaOH is the lye
Rancidity is old oils, spoilt oxidised oils. Check the dates on all your oil and butter containers and see that you are well in best before date. Also you can add 20g citric acid (2% if your oil batch is 1000g) to your water that you will use for the lye solution. It is essential to add 12g extra NaOH also as citric acid eats up some of the naOH. This can reduce chances of rancidity if not too bad or too old. If old you may wanna throw the oils away, begin with new fresher oils, or better still use up if for soap making just for yourself, or your laundry soap bars. You can also add 0.5% good quality vitamin E to your soap batch if you have it, an antioxidant for the oils. Hope this helps. Louisa UK

Don’t quite understand rancidity at lather formation 🤔. Rancidity occurs in old or improperly stored oils. But rancid lather…?
