Natalie, just an idea, have you ever tried taping a cloth measuring tape to the top edge of your table? Then you can just hold the fabric up to it and not have to pick up your tape measure each time. Just an idea. 😊
Great video! I live in the SW so I like to use the sun ☀️ & hang dry. This allows for snapping them straight & less wrinkles & Mother Nature does the drying & I save on electricity ⚡️
Very nice video! Thank you! I have found putting the measurements in the pics cut down on returns. People dont read. I know there is an app that puts them in the photo that Nurse flipper uses. It was never accurate for me, but probably user error😂 i hold the tapemeasure up in the photos. It takes a bit longer, but after 3 item not as described returns when measurements were in the description and item details, i included in pics. It lowered my frustration and havent had a return since. Would love to see a video on researching items. This always hangs me up and i spend far too much time attempting to get the details if it is not tagged with them.
I used to photograph the measurements, but it was too time consuming for my liking. I take my photos hanging up so it’s just more convenient for me to include them in the description. I’ve seen some post about the app that does measurements and I gave to many trust issues for that 😂 I can definitely do a video over researching items. Thank you for watching! 🥰
Yes! I have an iPhone so I put it in square mode before taking the photos. When you open your camera click the down arrow and on the bottom it will give to options. Click 4:3 and then square mode. Then you’re ready to photograph.
Hi! Thanks so much for making this video! This might be a bit lengthy here. I have sold blu rays and DVDs on eBay. The only item of clothing I have sold was an OshKosh railroad striped jacket and I managed to sell that for $60 instead of $120 because the buyer bought a few DVDs of mine with that in the process. Something I want to sell on eBay is overalls. I must have over 60 overalls but I'm getting rid of some and I think they might sell well online. I have a lot of OshKosh overalls and a few other brands that are no longer made for adults. I must be waiting at least a year to figure out how to sell them online. Can I ask you, should I weigh my overalls? How do you figure the shipping? I see, by some of those overalls online on eBay that I sometimes buy that some overalls like OshKosh can sit for a while on eBay before they sell. A lot of sellers sell them for a lot of money. Could you offer me some advice and tips? Have a good day!
I sell on Mercari, poshmark. Ebay and Facebook marketplace. Sales are very slow. I was thinking of adding another platform. What are your thoughts on Depop? I'm not very familiar with them. I hear it's for younger people. Thanks. Love your videos. Great info!
Depop is my slowest platform. It is based on what gen z is into in my opinion. Pretty sure that is most of their customer base. I like to list Y2K, 90s, and anything that is trending on depop. The biggest issue with depop is the fact that buyers can send an offer and once accepted they don’t have to go through with payment. It happens a lot.
Just a follow up comment, I bought clothing bags for my overalls so I wouldn't have to pay high prices for a post office bag to put them in. I'm trying to spend the least amount of money out of my own pocket that I can because I pay for the shipping label and the envelopes like when I sell my movies on eBay. All the overalls I want to sell have been sitting in a box for maybe over six months now not knowing how to go about selling them. What is your opinion about Facebook marketplace? Is that a viable market?
Facebook marketplace can be a good platform, but I haven’t sold on it instead of locally in the past two years. You could always try Mercari. It’s an easy platform to navigate.
@ 😂😂. That’s what I figured after a while. Initially, I was confused. I said 2015? Did she tape this 10 years ago. 😂😂. Too funny. I’ve done similar things while videoing myself. I enjoyed your video. I’ll be sure to subscribe.
Great! I was worried you got so distracted by the selling of the tissue box and making great content that you forgot! I’d hate it if you sent that to a customer!!! Thank you for the video! Another tip, you could flatten the curtain a bit more by sliding the rings out to the ends while shooting, maybe you wouldn’t need the tape, that doesn’t seem to stay stuck. Have a good one!
@@rumorrebel9278 now I’m going to have to double check 😂😂 thanks for the tip! My goal is to find something I can put in place of the curtain where I don’t have to worry about the curtain at all!
Sorry but this was a little bit frustrating to watch because you could've put all the clothes back into the dryer for 5 minutes and save so much time. Also that steamer will work on that curtain you admittedly said looks wrinkled and had prior comments about.
I absolutely hate reselling. You people come to stores where people donate TO HELP THE LESS FORTUNATE buy up all the good stuff and leave the poor with junk. How despicable and unethical. Buy up all the dang jewelry and name brand stuff. Makes me sick! Gone are the days when you can find a treasure when you are starting over. You people come in with your vehicles and buy up all the purses, all the name brand, all the new. Yes I hate your "business" so much. Enjoy your "flippin" and I hope you realize Thrift Stores are now just reselling greedy stores. Glad you are proud of yourselves.
I have tried resale, I think if you've done it you know you end up buying for yourself your family your friends sisters and everything that doesn't sale which is most everything gets donated back so your there to be good to your wallet the earth and to live and let live but I agree it gets kinda weird when you go on a bad day. My only tip is to buy off season.
Shame on YOU for coming here and spewing hatred. Natalie is a hardworking woman who has found a job she enjoys, and that helps her family. Maybe look at yourself and ask why you needed to be so ugly to a stranger. Have the day you deserve.

It's how they kind of measure at a fabric store. 👍🏻
Thanks for the tip! I may have to try this one 🥰
This is a great video- especially for us newbies! Very helpful! Thank you!!
Glad it was helpful!

Thank you so much for sharing this information!
Thats my favorite cold drink from Starbucks also! Ha!
So good! I always say extra strawberry inclusions because sometimes they don’t add enough 😂

Thank you for the video; it’s very informative.
Could you please explain the settings you chose on your camera before you took photos?

Can you link to your ebay shop please?
I like your voice and manners good job very informative
Thanks! Glad you found it helpful.
Hi question may I ask where you purchase the self stick poly bag?
amzn.to/3QMGzuM
They are linked in my Amazon storefront.
Which works best for measurements? Writing the measurements down or taking a picture of the measurements and put in listing?
@@tonyamasoner8983 I’ve done both and I would rather take the time to write them down! It is quicker for me.

I highly recommend weighing them and putting in the correct measurements. They probably weigh between 3-5lbs. Do you use calculated shipping on eBay?
Im a fairly new reseller about 10 months. I thought you were not allowed to list the same item on multiple platforms

What's your eBay
Out of curiosity, ...How long have you been reselling?
Started on Amazon FBA in 2021 and then moved over to eBay in 2022
How much are you selling the Brito overalls for?
Just saw your listing, hope you get the sale, they are awesome
They are listed high. No sold comps, but other items with the same collaboration with Britto have gone for a good price.
Is the date 1/14/15? 😊.
