  • It's tough to beat the beauty of an inline skating city session in the morning, when I've got the place all to myself. This one's got views of some of my favorite places to skate in Philly and reminds me of just beautiful the City of Brotherly Love can be.

    If you told me the International Federation of the Rollerblading Industry has paid you to shoot this video in order to promote our beautiful sport, I'd instantly believe you. Great stuff. I'm watching this on a Sunday morning with a fresh coffee at my side and it's just perfect to begin the day like this. 🙂

    Can I just say...I respect more and more how you urban skate. So many urban skaters with social media presence show themselves weaving in and out of traffic, zooming on packed sidewalks, and bombing intersections without regard. It's obvious safety is second nature when you're rolling and it never seems like you're disregarding others or taking unnecessary risks (other than having wheels strapped to your feet, hahaha). You're responsible and I appreciate the hell out that mentality.

      Lol, I'm sorry? Thank you? There is something meditative about flowing about the city, especially with the music behind it, despite the effort my body is putting out to keep me moving at the time. Not sure what your weather is like, but I hope spring is treating you well. Happy skating.

    your vids are great. it's a big part of what inspired me to start skating at the ancient age of 32. i'm still not totally steady on wheels, trying not to get discouraged. progress has been slow, but rewarding. just need to keep putting in the time + effort. my goal is to stride as smoothly as you do.

    Nice video! Can you make one review the setup with mushroom blading pants wheels and those endless frames? I was thinking about getting those wheels for flow skating how are they?

    • @rerollinginline
      @rerollinginline  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! Honestly, I didn’t like the pants wheels at all. These were my first 90A hardness wheel and I don’t like it. The ride is bumpy, especially since I’m using carbon boots with basically no shock absorption. They also slide too easily. I felt uneasy taking hard turns at speed even with how easy it felt like they could lose traction. I barely used the pants wheels and took them off.

    • @Will-cv8kn
      @Will-cv8kn ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rerollinginline Do you mind helping me choose my next setup for my FR1s I don't know which 4x90 frames and wheels to pair with them, I do lots of urban skating, jumps, stairs, and gaps, but also love to cruise very quickly through the city so not too sure if I want a rocker or not as I like to be stable skating quickly. I cannot decide which frames to get, Iqon Decode 4x90, Endless 4x90, Rockin Mix 4, or Adapt symmetrics 4x90. Which frames do you recommend for this type of skating? Is 90mm the right wheel size as I have size 41 EU feet? Thanks

    Hi.... that's a nice video you made of skating through the city. The music, of course, helps a lot. I want to give you some advice though. Please don't take it as a criticism, but only some things to aim for and I only give my personal opinion. Here they are:
    (1) Don't lean forwards so much. An upright stance is far better.
    (2) Take loooooonger strides - you look too choppy
    (3) You REALLY need to work on your back wards skating (i.e. cross-overs in both directions) and not just "hey look I go backwards for a few seconds".
    Well.... there are only three.You are really a great skater. I like that you can hop both left and right doing cross-overs, and you make a great video. Oh yes (4) .....
    Don't show your ass to much.
    I really do know about inline skating.....one day maybe I'll post a video of my own Keep up the good work, and I'd love to go skating around with you.
