My family bought a Sea Pro 259 last year. The ride on it is great, but it feels so much bigger than other boats. 9’4” beam makes all the difference especially with 22.5 deadrise. Their customer support for warranty work is also excellent, much better than other brands.

Hi John, did you happen to see the Sea Hunt Gamefish 25? Curious how the prices increased since last year. It's actually a 26 ft hull and 9ft 2 in beam, and nice finished glass everywhere. I purchased a 2020 with twin 150's for $108k with trailer, great value considering where prices are today. How times have changed.

No, I don’t think so, people shelling out over 100g are not first time owners and know the drill. With Covid and many people not travelling, boat saving $$$ went up a lot as well pushing the prices higher. Along with this, we are in the midst of many people inheriting from the war generation that is sadly passing on so there’s a ton of money going from the old savers to the new spenders.

Taking it back to 8+ years ago at the Miami Boat show I remember seeing a 25' Dusky with dual Evinrude (don't remember the power) for $65K. It’s an amazing boat.
I have never been on any of these other CC though. So technically. I can’t give an honest review.
My Grady. Strong. Solid. Good fuel burn. Been out over 100 miles with it. Been in NASTY 🤮 Seas.
The storage is really good. I have a lot of gear and the boat handles it.
The deck space I wish was better.
I wish it was wider. Longer. But hey. Then I should probably go with a bigger boat.
Problem. I can’t afford them. LOL
    Grady still
Running like a champ with twin f150s. Have 2000 hours on em. Service the engines every 100 hours. And I’ve done two timing belt changes already for preventative maintenance at 1000 hours each.
I’ll probably have this boat forever. And at some point will reppower. Debating on putting a Minnkota trolling motor on in the summer. No longer fishing on the north east coast in New York moving down the south east Florida and it looks like trolling motors is the way to go to get on the smaller pieces of bottom. Next to bridges and docks. Etc.

To be honest, we know what a locker looks like and I would suggest just describing what you love about a boat over and above some other boats. They all have 80% same features and believe most viewers want to hear about the 20% that are different. Also I find most bling is just cosmetic and the true benefits are mostly hidden in things like a solid hull, creeks, wiring, special features other boats don’t have, type of stainless fittings, cheap plastics, bilge, steps, how solid things feel, grab rails and give them a good tug…climb on top of the T-Top to see how it is finished, riggings, options that you can put on and how cheap or expensive they are….

The days when a working class guy could buy a new boat are long gone. The Grady is a joke .Over $200,000 dollars with taxes and a trailer ? And the quality and attention to detail with new boats is not that great . Just like you saw on that Parker. I am glad I already own a boat because these prices I see today are not something I could justify paying.
