I make a lot more than my parents ever did and have less to show for it because of how much everything costs now. And they had a beautiful Tiara. No way I would pay $100k for a bay boat.
I bought my Sea Born 22 fx bay boat at my local 2019 boat show. 43K national advertised price plus 4K manufacturer special price for the trailer. I am amazed at how high the prices have gone in such a short time. The same boat without a trailer is now at nearly 70K ! Crazy.
WOW! More totally insane boat prices! No way would I ever pay that much money for a bay boat! I don't know who those boat companies are selling boats to but I do know that anyone would have to be nuts to spend that kind of dinero!
Once these US made hybrid drive systems in the auto sector start migrating into the World of boating the change in a positive way for the Industry could be truly stunning especially if becomes diesel electric actually. Caterpillar and John Deere are making small diesel engines now that are so good as to be a boaters *DREAM* right now let alone the gasoline variety. Plus can use as a power back up for House and Home so no, not interested at all in current vessel product especially given current prices and what we know already exists for example with the Ford F150 Hybrid pickup truck. Amazing to watch commodity prices start to plunge to zero again actually.
No, no, and more no. Not for the bay boat. I like flexibility and deeper boat. For 300k or so, there is so many great boats out there. I personally prefer cats anyway, and that's what I just purchased. So I am not surprised John that you went with one as well. Can't wait for your first video with that 24 you are getting 😊👍
No I would not buy a 300k bay boat but wish you would have stopped at the Albury booth and checked out the 23 and the bracket 27...that 27 I would buy for 300k. Great in the shallow and excellent offshore boat
@@jaredettinger23 I have been on both. I have logged about 25 hours on an older 27 with twin 250's and checked out a newer like yours 27 Stuart. I thought it was well built from what I could see but it felt much smaller in comparison. I also prefer the way the Albury looks old school and now that they offer the bracket w 300's works for me. Unfortunately, All the prices have drastically gone up. Good luck with your boat.
If I had 5 million in the bank, I'd still think the Solace was way overpriced. That's insane for a 30Ft. center console!! Also, look at the bilge area under the starboard aft seat; It was unfinished fiberglass!! Just crazy price. Who would buy that?
Solace 30 and the boat with steps are not a bay boat might draft skinny but that ain’t no bay boat lol I wouldn’t buy 300k but I think in the gulf you can take that type of boat offshore more days than not …watch the weather
I see a Day (NOW) when the only affordable boat will be used Bayliners. These boat manufacturers have lost their minds designing so called Bay Boats and pricing !
Hahaha, deep breaths Sarge! Will be an interesting year or so I think from an economy and interest rate percentage. Will be curious to see some of these prices next year
Just want to say thank you for doing these reviews, I sincerely appreciate it.
Glad you like them!
The Solace 30 and the Tidewater 3100 are frickin AWESOME.
I wish the Tidewater had a berth underneath!

Inflation has skyrocketed for everyone in the last 4 years, I wonder what the correlation is… 🤔
A new Yamaha 300 is $30k. It’s not 1980….

Was there on Friday. Was sad seavee didn’t have any boats there.
93,000 for that little 22 falcon omg
Having ridden on one I assure you, it’s very, very capable
Seagull by Nautico was a great 19 foot single engine cat.
The Robalo is probably the best overall value one
That falcon looks super stern heavy. Would be worried about taking water over the stern
I like the Canyon Bay, but wow...
Show the best 24 ft bay boat the PATHFINDER 24 OPEN

I have a Stuart and I got it for 175k back in 2020. I love that boat.

They are Florida Sandbar Boats. Not practical for where we are John.

Could you do a video on a Blue cat please
Not familiar with that brand unfortunately

Yup. They fall in the hybrid category
Tidewater....who?
I would not spend that kind of money on a bay boat. That's silly money and size for a bay boat.

cobia dont hang out at the beach
Please go back to roadside boats, I’m not a millionaire. Must be tons down in Florida. Congratulations on your retirement.
No retirement Duff! Gonna try and hit the Keys one of these weekends to find some roadside boats
@@jiggingjerks you job is better than my retirement !
These boats are so over priced. Why do people still pay these prices?
