Anyone else also a big fan of Japanese stationary? We'd love to know what your favourites are! Right now, we're really liking washi tapes! 💕
I love stickers too, look for point stickers and flake stickers you get more in a pack than just one sheet and some of the cutest designs. Also washi style stickers are adorable. I do daily journaling so have lot of ideas :)
Ohhh great tip! Thank you! By flake, do you mean when each sticker is an individual “flakes” and loosely packed together in a little bag/box? What are point stickers? We hope you can share more ideas in the future 💕☺️
@@itsjamlife yes the flake stickers are as you described and the point one are sheets of circle stickers or stars and other shapes and designs but have multiple sheets in a pack. Good for journals and or scrapbooks or planners as reminders or to add a cute touch. I have just basic circle point stickers and also bear ones too. Very cute options available.
I love anything Japanese - the country, the people, the food and the stationary!! ❤❤❤😊😊😊
For the spice rack you could use it for your journal/scrapbook supplies. Since it’s on wheels you can move it to where your scrapbooking. Could always find some little baskets that would fit inside for your washi tapes and other things to go into. Love your videos. Love from Alberta, 🇨🇦
Ohh, that could work quite well! The supplies will be easily visible and accessible from the rack too. Thanks for sharing your wonderful idea! It's nice to connect with a fellow Canadian as well 🥰 🇨🇦
you can use the spice rack to put little pots with plants
Ohhhh, that is such a cute idea- if only the spice rack wasn't so flimsy and easy to tip over! 🙈
Omg. I love the stationery haul 💖💖💖 but the biggest take away is the organization baskets. Will buy the same for my kitchen 😂
Looking forward also to your journaling/scrapbooking!!
Yessss, stationary is so fun here (😏 and scrapbooking is a fantastic reason to collect more, haha) Also yay for matching baskets!! 💕🙌
I love your scrapbooking to keep your memories. Neat idea and great effort. From what I noticed from Japanese lifestyle, microwave is pretty essential, next would be a rice cooker. something you may want to consider.
Thanks for the tips! We got a rice cooker recently which has been a great help. We also wanted one of those oven/microwave combo units that are quite common in Japan… but looks like we don’t have quite enough space for it. 😅
Cutest couple ever living life in my dream country - what's not to love?
Japan is wonderful indeed! Thank you for tuning in again! ☺️🫶
I don’t know if you know that the hinges of the fridge could be reverse to the left side to maximum your mobility in the kitchen ❤
It’d be nice to have that option! Our fridge doesn’t have that capability >< Thank you for your thoughtful suggestion though 💕
Thank you!
the kitchen shelves look great👍🏽
Glad to hear that! It actually turned out a bit better than what we imagined. Thank you! 🙌 😄
I love our life in Japan
Thanks for tuning in again!
Could you use the spice rack in the storage closet where you keep your futon that you showed in the flat viewing video? Love the plant idea as well, especially on the balcony! ❤
Ohh, that would’ve worked perfectly if only we didn’t have suitcases taking up the closet space right now 😅🙈 We can’t wait to add plants- the weather is warming up now so it’s a great time for it! Thank you for watching our vlog! 💕
Glad to see a new video❤️. You two are so cute and your videos are so relaxing. Trying to visit Japan by the end of this year
Thank you for tuning in so early! 🥹 We love being able to share positive vibes 💕 Also wishing you a fabulous trip to Japan soon! Which cities are you planning to visit?
the new kitchen additions are ver cool!!! also the daruma are absolutely adorable😭 happy to see another great video😁
Thank you for tuning in again!!! 🥹 Those Daruma are one of our most precious items- glad you like them 💕
Great video! ❤ I like how those shelves look and I've always wanted to do that ceramic repair.
Thank you for watching! ☺️🫶 We're pretty happy with the shelves too. Hope you get to try kintsugi at some point, it's such a unique activity!
I think that you are going to need to move the fruit bowl and your lazy susan...as you will be using the lazy susan more than your fruit bowl...maybe put the fruit bowl under the cabinet...and a basket for things that you do not immediately need next to the lazy susan. you are both doing a find job on your scrap book...it is very personal to you...a book of memories...it is perfect as it is..because you are doing it together...imperfections...are what make life special..and poignant...I wish you a wonderful life journey to you both!
Thanks for such a lovely and helpful comment! You're absolutely right about the lazy susan and fruit placement. It's only been a couple of days, but we already noticed the need to put fruit in a more visible spot and to make spices more accessible. We very much appreciate your view on life and imperfections! Hope things are well on your end too! ☺️💕
@@itsjamlife I’m doing well thanks
YAYYY i love japanese stationary!!!
also throwback to when we spent hours there that one day HAHA
Sooooo much good stuff there! It was so fun going together 💕
Looks great! ❤
Thanks for tuning in! ☺️💕
You need some plants!! 🪴
We most definitely do! Any suggestions? We want an indoor tree of some sort, plus a variety of smaller plants. Not sure which species yet!
@@itsjamlife pothos are always easy to care for. Monstera and Rubber plants (ficus elastica) are pretty also. Or even kitchen herbs like mint, rosemary, thyme, parsley, chives….

What do you guys do for work and how are you able to stay in japan
Engineering! The company helped with our visas.
are you guys citizens or on work visas? just wondering becasue i'm interested in moving eventually:)
We’re on a work visa and a dependant visa! Where in Japan are you hoping to move to? :)
are you allowed to hang stuff, like art, on the walls?
As long as there's no visible damage to the wall or wallpaper! There are some special hooks that can be bought, which leave minimal pinholes- but they can't hold anything too heavy.
