Moving to Tokyo in a few months for a year with work. Looking at Hmlet properties and wondered what your long term experience was like with Hmlet?
cute japanese girl in the begininig who is she
Our friend and realtor, Mika! 🫶🏻
You guys are the best! Would love a Q&A, curious how you guys ended up in Japan and what you guys do for work etc x
Oh, good idea! We might save that for a 2 year living-in-Japan anniversary video for something, hehe. 😄
My soviet era apartment is 32sq metres and has hall , kitchen, bathroom, and living room. So the apartments you are looking at ,are well sized.
One day I’ll visit :3❤
The first apartment while small, has a great balcony! Love the view
Thank you ❤😅considering living there but not sure.. one day!
Found out that it is best that women do NOT hang their underthings to dry unless you are on the floors above the ground floor. Some males take to stealing them if they are drying outside on the ground floor.

Hi guys, amazing video. Can you tell us the name of the tea house ?
Thank you! The tea house is called “Nishiki Orizuruya” ☺️
Many thanks for sharing, this is the exact location I am planning to go, would you kindly advise which bus company or bus link you used from Kusatsu to Karuizawa, I am keen to explore.
Glad this was helpful for you! We used Willer Bus Company: willer-travel.com/en/bus_search/tokyo/shibuya/gunma/kusatsu/
is it haunted?
Sure hope not!
Hands down the first apartment. Kitchens and bidets are everything

Does a flexible rental count for juminhyo?
Yes! It can be registered on your Juminhyo as your official residential address :)
Great video!!! I want to move to Japan and its nice being able to see what the apartments looks like
Yay! Thank you! We’re glad you found the video useful 😄
I am a new Subscriber thanks to the TH-cam Algorithm. I watch a lot of TH-cam Channels about Japan and so yours was recommended to me and I'm loving all of your videos. I hope you reach 100K Subscribers in no time! Greetings from Ontario, Canada! 💞
Hi sweeties, I would do the sofa with the legs (cleaning underneath!!). But it's your home, your choise!! Love the Kotatsu!!! So lovely and beautiful! You did great!! Warm greetz and love from an old (rebel), Pinkie
Hi dears, I liked the 3the apartment the most!! But to me the most important thing would be that there are stores/shops and others in the direct neighborhood!!!! Why not the furnished ones? I really want my own stuff ;-) Big plus: there is a deskspace in the bedroom in front of a window!! And a huge plus for me: it has 3 burners for cooking!!! It will not be in this lifetime for me to go to Japan, maybe in a next life??? Cause I really love Japan! One big problem is that I'm a vegetarian (for about 60 years already!! I'm now 65.) and I fear there are not many places to eat for vegetarians or things to buy in the supermarkets ;-( Maybe you know if I'm right about that cause I'm not certain about that. Lot of warm greetz and luck from an old (rebel), Pinkie
Hi Pinkie! We’re so happy that you watched our video and even shared so many of your thoughts. ☺️ We love Japan too! It can indeed be a bit tough for a vegetarian to dine out in Japan, but it’s not too difficult to grocery shop and cook at home as a vegetarian.
Really great videos! What brought you guys to Japan / what type of work are you able to do there not yet speaking Japanese fluently?
Beautiful
I want to see a summer festival in Japan one day
Thank you algorithm
Thank you!! Glad you found us 💕
Such a calming video
Great video as always!
Thank you!! 😄

Sugoi.. I think Jeffrey enjoyed producing the air as in the bellows, and yes , he is good in detailing, in preschool he was praised for his precise cutting skills:). I especially enjoyed the Edo Period place and yes, I would have joined the Obon Odori dancing in a flash, lol. In Vancouver at the Matsuri, it’s often way too hot as it’s in the daytime.., I remember years ago, going with my sister and her friends to Stanley Park , where we partook? in the festivities. At night, it’s so much more pleasant:)). Keep em coming, kids:)). I know that Jeffrey loves sharp things:)

Hi I love your vlog. Question, I am traveling there in a few months, how easy is it to use credit card? I heard it’s still very much a cash country, just wondering if I should plan on more cash vs using CC. Any tips help ❤
It’s quite easy to use credit cards here- even taxis here take card payment! You’ll mainly want to keep some cash on hand for stuff like adding money to your transit card, and occasional purchases from some food stalls or tiny shops that might be cash only. Most other things will be fine with credit card!
Really love your videos, please keep uploading regularly, Love from India!!
Thank you so much! We will keep it up! ☺️💪
I love your videos so much!😄
We’re truly so happy to hear that! 💕
Which of these activities was your favourite? We’d also love to hear some ideas on what you’d like to see next! 💕
One day this will be me and my bf ❤
I wanna visit Japan 😭
Hello! This is so useful, thank you! Do you have any experience with Chiba? Any helpful sites?
Hi, may i know what's the name of the traditional village that you had planned to go?
It’s called “Saiko Iyashi-no-Sato Nenba”. We managed to go there this summer and it was so beautiful and unique!
So cute ❤
Congrats on the move! The choice to have the mats and be able to put it away for more space each day was a great idea. Tea for delivery people is also so nice! I never thought about that but a little gift makes sense since Japan doesn’t tip.
This is a really cute date! You guys are so awesome!
Awww, we appreciate that 🥹💕 Thank you for watching!
Thank you for making and sharing this video. This is very helpful!
I want to move to Tokyo
It's coming along nicely
I would pick the first apartment. It's so beautiful inside and modern. Only thing I am not a huge fan of is how there is a side walk right in front of the windows and balcony. Doesn't sound too safe or private but I would still go for it lol
First is nice but I think it's too small for a couple imo.
Can you bring luggage on the bus?
Yep! There’s a large storage compartment under the bus for everyone’s luggage. The staff will help you get the stuff in and out. ☺️
@@itsjeffandmel thanks!
