Cool video, and great sword skills ...
Beautiful looking gladius.
ammazing video i was looking for a sword liek this probaby lgonna buy it now because tis is a good review thanks kult
Beautiful sword! I'd love to have one of those! :D
I hope to see the windlass Mianz type Gladius up next, I've seen no real reviews of it ever.
Great review. I'd love to see a review of the tfw butterfly swords. they look much nicer than most others that I've seen.
Yes they're built better than the cold steel ones.
I used to prefer the look of the Pompeii and Fulham style blades like this one, but now I'm more of a Mainz blade shape guy.
I would like to see a review of the TFW kampilan.
would like to see you review windlass atlantean and fathers swords like your style and honest reviews cheers
Blade dimensions stated are not accurate...it's more like 22 inches, not 31 1/2 inch..
I've been looking at the TFW Gladius for awhile. I've been really wanting one & now I want one even more. Could you show us the Deepika Hoplite Spear?
The metal hardware on the sheath is brass, not bronze.
Can u do a review on a Skeggox or a dubbed handed axe? Nice video man and gratings from Sweden :D
please do a video on a cutlass and a sword cane
Great review. Beautiful sword! What's the weight on it?
That's a fulham gladius, straight narrow blade and traingular point. Mainz gladius has got a little bit more of a waist narrowing and a longer point.
Which is the best budget gladius has to be battle ready ?
Nice.
What kind of steel does it made of?
Friend,
I'd really like to see a review of the Ritter No-Dachi. Swords or Katanas with blades over 36" are not common. The Ritter Sword is relatively inexpensive and it looks a bit on the thin side. I'd like a close-up including some cutting.
…..RVM45
cool leg tattoos he reminds me of brock from spiderman aka the original venom
That's sweet. I have been looking for a gladius sword lately. I'll have to check this out. I recommend the cobra Steel line (by windlass)for review for people on a budget. Great content, keep it up!
Thanks Graham, the Cobra steel kopis is a really cool one. Shipped out a few of those in the last month. Thanks for checking the review.
Windlass has their Pompeii gladius 50% off atm at their website (museumreplicas.com). You should check that out!
Great video! I would suggest that you put a link to the sword in the description.
I don't think he is the one being weird, actually you are
Cobra steel Kopis is awesome too !
You need to do your history roman gladius is more than capable of cutting in battle
I've been shopping around and considering some of the TFW swords. Primarily the Kris models, the Bastard sword you guys reviewed awhile back, and the sansibar 2 with the guard on it, but as usual I've yet to commit to something! lol
The Kris are well built and very sharp, just depends on what type of training you're into
I bought the Sansibar 2, very well made short sword
I'm really fascinated by these shorter swords, like most types of gladius, or the greek siphos. I'm a newbie, and I'm wondering, if I was to do my first buy on a gladius, for example, would you recommend going for an albion right off the bat, or going for a less "sell your house"-price range than an albion, more like this, or a windlass? What price range do you think I get the most weapon for my money, and would be smart to find out what I like in swords before I spend 800 dollars or more? Let me know what you would do, if you wanted a shorter type sword as your first, and what range (maybe specific sword) you would go for. Thanks.
I would say the best quality and handling is Albion. However, if you're going to be doing cutting with it and experimenting with how a live blade functions you're probably going to want a Devils Edge or a sharpened Deepeka to start. If it's me I'd get the cheaper and order the Albion since they have a 3-6 month wait time on products. Hope this helps
Thanks. I'll go for some cheap stuff, I think. I might go for a "squire", from albion, since those are the least expensive albion swords, which means that they can be trusted not to fall apart if I cut something alittle stronger than a water bottle. I don't know, I'll make up my mind eventually.
>tfw no gladius
So sadius.
wow would not think the blade would be that long.
it's about 29 1/2. More like a Spatha length really.
I own this Gladius. Little expensive.
gotta say that can't be be a 30 plus inch blade?
It's 29 1/2 I measured it after I had already filmed the review
For a weapon that is made primarily for thrusting, you're giving us a lot of test cuts. In the future, try showing us thrusts on various targets. That is, after all, how the blade works. Looks like a nice sword though. I like most Filipino made weapons.
Daniel Flynn it was used for cutting to
carl moore what he was trying to say is. This weapon was primarily used for thrust. So he should habe shown us primarily thrusts with it.
At 1:33 you mentioned the peen. The description in Kult of Athena says "Pommel: nut." Assuming you misspoke?
