Tod Cambell was the cinematographer for most of Mr. Robot. I worked with him on a short film way back in 2008. Incredible talent. He also did Homecoming with Sam.
Not only that, the walking light came on when she had a chance to make a difference with her intervention. The countdown starts when events are more or less locked in.
It's unreal how well thought and well put together scenes like this are - in this series. From the ambience music that keeps you clinged to your screen, to unique camera angles, to great acting. The little subtle details.. when the credits roll and you can still hear the background noises. This show is a fucking masterpiece i'm telling you. I know this show is over but in my heart I will forever expect another season.

S2E10. That ending is one of the best of the entire show (or TV). I use to watch that one many times. The work of the director of photography, the producer and actors are so incredible. Everything's match perfectly. (5:30) The ending itself remind me a theater performance. The way every character come in and out of the camera's field, that they are standing in front of us with a standing camera. Everythings appear on the screen has a purpose
@@DarkSim64 I do agree on that, but there's more. Look once again from the begining of the scene. First, the light is red. It turns green exactly when Dom walks next to it. Then, it turns red when the motorcycle leave the screen before it reappears. And finaly, when the countdown reach 0, he starts shooting. It works perfectly because there isn't any cut and the camera doesn't move. I'm so amazed of the filmography and details of this show !
@@cedriconizukation7793 The slow build up of tension with the music as Dominique analyzes the information the nurse tells her made me develop a massive crush on her. But for real, this was a beautifully developed ending with amazing cinematography and color editing. I loved how they kept the street dark, but washed in faint orange glare of a big city at night, and how the cool blue on the end of the motorcycle, wasn't over stated, but pronounced enough to give this entire shot a real cyberpunk feeling, perfect for the tone of this series. Also, you are correct, that final scene, one steady camera shot which makes you an observer from the outside, almost voyeuristic, with the quick, not overly dramatic shot out, the guns shots muted in sound, not dominating the scene. Hi, @Mr. Robot . 2 weeks ago you've made post about what do we want to see on the channel and i have a proposition. Make a clip about Olivia in 4s.ep6. where she tried to suicide after Elliot drugged her. I love this episode so much!
