- Dominique gets the jump on Janice & her goons and kills them before they can murder her family. Bye bye Janice, it was nice knowing you & your stuffed animals.
From Season 4 Episode 8 "408 Request Timeout" Elliot and Krista escape her apartment before Vera's men return and find his body. Krista heads to the police station, but Elliot follows a younger version of himself to the Queens Museum. There, he finds his father's key to his childhood bedroom, now remembering he had hidden it in one of the walls as his way of fighting back. An hour before the Deus Group is set to meet, Mr. Robot apologizes to Elliot for failing to protect him; Elliot admits he created him to be the father he needed. Elliot breaks down as Mr. Robot comforts him. Janice binds Darlene and Dominique, ordering Darlene to restore her phone so that she can find Elliot. Janice stabs Dominique, telling Darlene to give up Elliot or Dominique will die. Janice calls her team, threatening to kill Dominique's family members. Darlene gives in, asking for her phone. Janice's men fail to find Elliot at Krista's apartment. She calls her team outside Trudy's house, but no one answers the phone. Janice learns that Dominique sent Deegan and the Irish mob to rescue her family and take them to a safe house, killing the Dark Army agents in the process. While Janice is distracted, Dominique manages to shoot her in the head. Dominique calls for backup and tells Darlene to find Elliot.

This was one of the most intense parts of the show I honestly thought Janice was invincible, but this show keeps it super realistic usually villains are supposed to have some type of epic dramatic death she just gets shot lol
Most characters die sudden deaths, that's what I love about this show. You don't know when a major character is going to die , it can be at any moment and throws you off guard. It's more realistic that way.

This is one of the greatest scenes from any TV show. The tension, the acting, the mind games, the stakes, the buildup. It all just works!

When Darlene was in the bath it totally felt like she was about to die
I know the feelings. I was scared the whole time when everyone’s lives were at stake. White Rose’s dark army is dangerous.

I cheered my ass off when Dom got the sick psychopath who threatened her entire family. I was mostly scared for the little ones. I was like “They’re gonna kill them!” Thank you Lucky Irish Bastard! ☘️👐🏻

If that soldier hadn’t walked next to Dom, this scene would have played out very differently.

Honestly I think this show is on par with breaking bad and the wire. It's that great.
Easily on the like top 10 shows of all time list if that was a thing. My personal favourite, but I can def understand those who prefer breaking bad/bcs and such, cuz theyre all roughly on the same level of excellency
Yeah, Mr Robot is maybe a bit too „science-fiction“ or just not very realistic altogether. May be a question of a taste. It is very great though. And yes, I know, the hacking is pretty authentic, i was talking about the general plot.

This was such a good scene. Janice made an excellent villain and Dom killed her in a dramatic John Wick style.
That rotating camera shot is fantastic. I've never seen one like it before.
I was on the edge of my seat the whole scene, and then when that guy answered the phone i was literally cheering
It is fun how in shows like this with very carefully crafted atmosphere at all times, you can feel the scene start to turn the moment she has to hang up the first call. Like the roller coaster getting to the top of the rise and then starting to rush back down.

Janice had all the confidence that she’s in full control all the time, til this moment, Dom’s one move ahead, and waiting patiently for that perfect moment, even get stabbed in the chest. One of the most satisfying scene in the whole show.

Janice is a great character, I actually wish she was in earlier seasons as well. She reminds me a lot of Father Hughes from season 2 of Peaky Blinders, both characters are very untraditional villains but end of being extremely menacing.
The entire cast and crew of this show nailed everything, especially in season 4. When Janice first threatened Dom's family I felt the anxiety kick in not just for Dom but myself as well. Then when Janice couldn't get through to her Dark Army pals guarding Dom's family's home, I knew something was off. Then finding out Dom's family are shaken but still alive and unharmed I felt a massive weight lift off my shoulders, as if I was inside Dom's head as she finally put Ms. 💯 out of her misery. Excellent shows only happen when the cast and crew care about the product and you can see it in every frame. Best show ever made in my opinion just to see Janice get what she deserves.
There has never been a character in any form of media which has made me more angry than Janice, brilliant

No way Whiterose would have let him and Dom's family live even after the Deus hack. Whiterose and the dark army would have chase them to the end of the world
I doubt it, Dark army had bigger problems at the time, why would they waste manpower to track them down? They are literally expected to kill themselves without hesitation if they get caught, they’re expendable to Whiterose. I expected them to go after Dom but at the end they didn’t even bother.
The biggest star of this scene is room reverberation which made all three shots sound like a poetry :D
As someone who is a sound mixer for film and tv, thank you for this comment! You have a good ear, sir. I'm glad they went with a more realistic gunshot design unlike most shows that would have EQ'd the bass frequencies louder and added more reverb than what the space calls for. The silent sound design and atmosphere that follows is a great contrast from the earlier tension.

I do not see enough praise in this comment section, for the amazing camera work, as this camera is just spinning around the room as characters move around the scene. The perspective is chilling. I haven't seen this kind of impactful camera work since Breaking Bad.
Generally speaking this show does not get enough praise. Everything is so good and that it's not a household name the way Breaking Bad is is such a shame.

You can't spoil this show. I've seen it front to back multiple times and it just gets better.

Whether Dom would die or live after this, she got out of it like the badass she is! Eliott is obviously awesome but throught the series Dom became my personal favourite, so glad that she finally got some rest, she deserved it very much. ❤
