This was one of the most intense parts of the show I honestly thought Janice was invincible, but this show keeps it super realistic usually villains are supposed to have some type of epic dramatic death she just gets shot lol
Most characters die sudden deaths, that's what I love about this show. You don't know when a major character is going to die , it can be at any moment and throws you off guard. It's more realistic that way.
scene is perfect but i just wanted janice to have most gruesome death possible or at least something less sudden, and i know it wouldn't be fitting of dom's character to torture her or something but still
I cheered my ass off when Dom got the sick psychopath who threatened her entire family. I was mostly scared for the little ones. I was like “They’re gonna kill them!” Thank you Lucky Irish Bastard! ☘️👐🏻
Another kid claiming any random scene from any TV show is the greatest among all the other shows ever been aired on TV. I'm surprised you did not also claimed it was pure genius and ask an Emmy to be awarded to all of the actors involved.
Kudos to Ashlie Atkinson for bringing such an horrific villain to the screen. I felt sick every time she was present just because of how menacing and violent she seemed.
It is fun how in shows like this with very carefully crafted atmosphere at all times, you can feel the scene start to turn the moment she has to hang up the first call. Like the roller coaster getting to the top of the rise and then starting to rush back down.
Janice had all the confidence that she’s in full control all the time, til this moment, Dom’s one move ahead, and waiting patiently for that perfect moment, even get stabbed in the chest. One of the most satisfying scene in the whole show.
Same here! I didn’t expect him to be likable after he gave her that look at the station. I thought he was with the Dark Army. Dom could kiss him cause he’s Irish and a hero haha!! 🍀
Easily on the like top 10 shows of all time list if that was a thing. My personal favourite, but I can def understand those who prefer breaking bad/bcs and such, cuz theyre all roughly on the same level of excellency
Yeah, Mr Robot is maybe a bit too „science-fiction“ or just not very realistic altogether. May be a question of a taste. It is very great though. And yes, I know, the hacking is pretty authentic, i was talking about the general plot.
@@R0bot4 I don't understand your grip. It's too science fiction? Yeah so is Star Wars and Dune. Either it is or it isn't whatever they did still worked within the context of their premise.
@@thomaschristopherwhite9043 Yeah, but im not comparing it to Star Wars, but Breaking Bad and just said, that it is too niche, i guess thats what I wanted to say. You know, this show sadly isnt as popular as Breaking Bad or BCS or whatever and I am just trying to outline the reason.
The entire cast and crew of this show nailed everything, especially in season 4. When Janice first threatened Dom's family I felt the anxiety kick in not just for Dom but myself as well. Then when Janice couldn't get through to her Dark Army pals guarding Dom's family's home, I knew something was off. Then finding out Dom's family are shaken but still alive and unharmed I felt a massive weight lift off my shoulders, as if I was inside Dom's head as she finally put Ms. 💯 out of her misery. Excellent shows only happen when the cast and crew care about the product and you can see it in every frame. Best show ever made in my opinion just to see Janice get what she deserves.

I have never been so happy. Of all the Dark Army soldiers, Janice was the most cruel. Seemed like she genuinely enjoyed her job. Whereas the others I can believe started like Dom and were forced into it.
@@PrimarchX i mean the fact that she survived that knife wound is a miracle, she lost an abundance of blood tho she was just lucky it wasn’t that deep.
Janice is a great character, I actually wish she was in earlier seasons as well. She reminds me a lot of Father Hughes from season 2 of Peaky Blinders, both characters are very untraditional villains but end of being extremely menacing.
As someone who is a sound mixer for film and tv, thank you for this comment! You have a good ear, sir. I'm glad they went with a more realistic gunshot design unlike most shows that would have EQ'd the bass frequencies louder and added more reverb than what the space calls for. The silent sound design and atmosphere that follows is a great contrast from the earlier tension.
I do not see enough praise in this comment section, for the amazing camera work, as this camera is just spinning around the room as characters move around the scene. The perspective is chilling. I haven't seen this kind of impactful camera work since Breaking Bad.
Generally speaking this show does not get enough praise. Everything is so good and that it's not a household name the way Breaking Bad is is such a shame.
"you have no idea what force you are dealing with" Dom just saved the irish dude also. No way Whiterose would have let him and Dom's family live even after the Deus hack. Whiterose and the dark army would have chase them to the end of the world
I doubt it, Dark army had bigger problems at the time, why would they waste manpower to track them down? They are literally expected to kill themselves without hesitation if they get caught, they’re expendable to Whiterose. I expected them to go after Dom but at the end they didn’t even bother.
I started watching clips of the show again, and it's inspiring me to watch the series again, damn, this was good. I realized now that Dom was making a last-ditch move that she knew would kill her either way, once she pulled the knife out of her chest. It was a real gamble stabbing the guy in the leg and hoping he'd fall in a way that would allow her to take his gun, but once she got hold of it, her training kicked in and she knew who to take out and in what order. Her adrenaline must have given her enough of what energy she had left, which couldn't have been much at that point.
