My subcontious is messed up. I asked a dream character what my dream job is, she responded "Whatever you want it to be dear". Freaking troll... If anyone has advice on how to fix this I'd love to hear it.
Nobody has a 'purpose', a certain role to fit. That's the freedom of being a human. You can do whatever the fuck you want! You can assign your self a purpose, or find one, but you're not born with one (let's not get into a free will and destiny discussion). You just haven't found yours yet. Ask more questions, or just think. What would you like to try? Broaden your horizons. Good luck!
The one thing about your subconscious, especially in lucid dreams, is that you don't always get clear cut answers. It's normally some sort of riddle that you have to dig deeper into, or your asking the questions in the wrong way i.e. DEMANDING you know the answer. Sometimes your subconscious is trying to protect you from things it doesn't want you to know because it doesn't feel that you're prepared to hear the answer.
My grandma passed away last summer from cancer. Before she got sick i was away at school. she wanted me to take her for coffee when i got home for break. Unfortunatley she got ill very quick and we werent able to do that and it breaks my heart. I hope i can accomplish this with lucid dreaming. Thanks for all the videos.
i asked for myself also and we both ran and hugged each other but i got scared and ended the dream because i didnt want her to feed off of my fear and morph into something scary
+max010113 no, because even your dream characters need to watch "dream porn" from time to time :P you're their star :P. But seriously though, nothing is wrong with you, I'd do the same! :)
I had an epic adventure with my subconscious personified one time. Wish I could do it again because every moment I was with her my lucid powers were amplified and I had 100% full control. I stopped a car coming towards me dead on with just my hand then made the driver burst into flames for trying to run me over. I then made a huge gust of wind blow out the flames and all that was left was their charred bones. A police helicopter arrived and I made it lose control and come crashing down. So much fun because everything I wanted to do worked first time exactly as I wanted it to.
I've lucid dreamed few times, by accident. I'm going to attempt in a few minutes when I take a multihour nap. My Aunt passed away roughly 2009-ish, and I never got to say goodbye. She was on life support in the hospital... They had to pull the plug. The firs thing I'm going to do, the very second I get to control the dream, I'm saying my proper goodbyes to my only Aunt.
+Rueth Cubuwu I once was trying to astral project but I fell asleep and went into a lucid dream, didn't realize what it was until the next morning when I could remember everything (I had already ran into videos of it while learning how to astral project)
In my first "real" LD I met Alfred (Batman's butler) who was kinda guide in my dream. He made me sit in his Mercedes and we drove through the city (small italian village) while he was explaining me that he was only a reflection of my subconscious and everyone else was too. He told me I could ask him anything about my dreams and my inner self and I did. I sat there and we had a conversation about my actual dreams, he teached me how to make myself and other things fly. This was so sick! :D
Justin 20000 Late reply so you probably have already thought of this by now but I understood it as not being able to find the one person for you to love and spend rest of your life with. But he did specifically say in the video it’s mainly him fearing he’ll outlive all is friends/family/loved ones.
My subconscious is a skeleton he's in every one of my dream he is so like me funny and stuff and sometimes we do fun thing together and it's so fun like flying to the sun
I was riding in a car down a highway at night with my friend and I hadn't slept the previous night so I started falling asleep and I was hallucinating like crazy as I fell asleep because of sleep deprivation. I saw the trees on the side of the highway turn into the grim reaper and he swept his hand across the road before I saw a ton of shadows stretch in three dimensions in front of the car and I fell asleep. I woke up and my friend had crashed his car. I acted like I was ok, but I was really freaked out that I could have died in my sleep and my subconscious reminded me before I nearly died in my sleep.
When your biggest fear is the unknown and your subconscious starts giving you nightmares about unknown things until it beats some sense into you. Thanks subconscious. You are like the badass of my sleeping world.
Would it be possible to ask your subconscious things you've forgotten like lost passwords, or where you left your keys, and it'll tell you the correct information?
+TheRubbaRazza Yes. It's not guaranteed, but it does work sometimes. There's actually a way you can do this in waking life if you forget your keys, that has a pretty high success rate. Draw a quick little map of the places you've been recently, and then ask yourself "Hmm, where did I leave my keys", and rather absent-mindedly while focusing on something else, just place 2-3 crosses on the map, without really looking where they're being placed, the placement doesn't matter. ...bam you've just tricked yourself into thinking the placement doesn't matter, letting your conscious mind get out of the way, the subconscious has now been given the opportunity to take over autopilot, and one of those crosses should be the location of your keys. Doesn't always work but I've found it surprisingly good.
Same here... There was one time when I had a dream that I was driving. And I am a really good driver. So, I saw a green light turn yellow, and I hit the brakes... But the car didn't stop in time, and I ran a red light. So the next time I had a dream like that, I passed the red light, stopped, and said "I'm dreaming." And then I woke up. There was another dream I had, but I don't exactly remember what it was about. All I know is, it was dark, and I realized somehow that I was dreaming. And then I woke up. So I know that I have dreams, but most of them I do not remember. Those that I do remember just feel too short...
There is no wave of laughter, Giz. I am happy that you got to speak to the true you, and that it all made sense in that one moment of shocking emotion. Do not be ashamed of it, but embrace it and make it a positive exerience.
Your ace Giz, thanks for sharing. I know this is a serious subject but you made me have a good laugh. Not because you were crying but the way you describe things is so funny and awesome. Cheers!
i never had a lucid dream but i can tell myself when to wake up, not exactly but it usually wakes me up near that time. it's so weird but it also makes me happy that i don't need to have an alarm clock. when i wake up i don't get annoyed unlike those beep noises that make you feel uncomfortable and not want to leave your bed.
I saw my subconscious in a lucid dream for the first time a few weeks ago and now people think I'm crazy because I now refer to my subconscious as a "he" XD.
+TheRubbaRazza be careful with that .. Your subconscious is able to stop you from reaching lucidity I think .. I spoke to mine a few times and one time I asked him a question that I think he didn't like and I wasn't able to reach lucidity for about 10 months after that which is unusual for me
To be honest, i want to lucid dream because i can discover more about myself, face my fears, not because i can do anything, but i want to better know who i am, and learn more about myself.
Thanks for sharing this. Most of us are trained through socialization to not feel things. Except for maybe anger, frustration, or apathy. I am unfortunately (or fortunately) a VERY emotional person and very sensitive to others. So it is always really refreshing for me to see people continue to evolve as they find opportunities to openly share about emotional experiences. Nice Work!!! Sidenote: do you know much/explore much about dream symbolism? This is where most of my creative dreamwork lies and I find it extremely valuable for maintaining a continuous conversation between my conscious self, subconscious, and unconscious. The House symbol represents the body, the self, and each room represents a different part of the body or the self. just was curious if you study that stuff too!
Oh...I feel sad now! You won't die alone, you're wonderful and no matter if you live to a hundred you will always have people around you who love you, because you're awesome. And I'm glad your mum is ok.
Imagine a river slowly flowing in a forest. The leaves trying to hide the river. When you touch the water, you know it was there, even if the leaves tell you, that the droplets of rain they hold are the better, more reliable and ultimatly real flow of water. It couses grand emotions. probably. But as he said, in the end, you never know.
aawww yeah just remembered this one. for days I had been having nightmares about a Cyclops chasing me up the stairs and the door being locked but one night I turned around and punched him super hard in the face and never had the dream again
"i don't want to emotionally die alone... Like superman " i lost it at that point, the guys in my class looked at me weirdly cause i started laughing real hard in what was a moment ago a silent class xD daammnn yooouuu!!!
I've only talked to my subconscious once. I yelled up into the sky "i want to talk to my higher self" then a booming voice came down and said "i come in may different forms" then he got really quiet and i couldn't understand him. For some reason he was french too and i have no idea why.
I'm with you on how some people only care about the flying and magical powers of dreams. I'm on the other side, I enjoy trying to talk to my subconsciousness. One odd thing Ive noticed is that when I'm lucid, everything looks clear an I'm well aware I'm dreaming my dream charters do not. They never do. Always find that weird. anywho cool video and its ok to cry!
I've tried to lucid dream so much and I always fail, but a common thing my dreams like to do to me is make me experience intense emotion, like loss of a family member, friend etc. I've experienced dying in a dream but never woke up from death. I've survived decapitation, only to eat bacon shortly afterwards. I've experienced (many) gunshots, all of them fatal and the dream just goes on.....but one of the things my dreams love to do is make me fall in love with a woman who doesn't exist. I cant tell you how many times I've woken up lovesick for a girl I've never met in my entire life. Its both amazing and freaking annoying lol. I want to control my dreams, and take control of my emotions but my dreams are always extremely vivid, I've even been able to read in a dream ( and I'm not sure if I was actually reading, or if my brain was just simulating reading to satisfy my concious waking up). One time in a dream a song played, a new song I'd never heard before, and i tried desperately to remember the words but I failed. I also dreamed about a daughter I don't even have. Her name was Maggie Scarlet. She had blonde loose curls in her hair and she was about 5 years old.
Unfortunately, my greatest fear regarding death is inevitable: dying without first knowing everything there is to know. Not knowing everything is fine, but I want to know it *eventually*. Something to just get used to.
Dying alone - whether it be emotionally or physically - is a very real fear for a lot of people. You're not alone on that - you just didnt realise what your fear was until you asked your subconscious.
This is the same reason dream analysis can be useful. On paper dream analysis looks a bit silly, I mean, what's a dream about a flying bus with a driver who has a piano that shoots lasers going to tell me about myself or my life? The trick is that the while the conscious thinks in rational dialogue, the subconscious thinks in abstract form. So when you start questioning what those dream themes actually mean to you, you start getting answers, and when you start digging into the more powerful dreams (i.e. nightmares, recurring dreams, emotional dreams etc) you can learn some pretty profound stuff about yourself. Once you decipher the meaning, you *know* it to be true too, so there's no real second guessing yourself. This is why IMO lucid dreaming is really healthy, because you're engaging the subconscious directly, and getting to know the half of your own brain that you usually do a good job ignoring. Speaking of which, hell that's a good trick those of us who analyse our dreams can use in an LD - got a particular recurring theme that we can't figure out? Jump into a lucid and ask your subconscious! You can ask it stuff that isn't about yourself too, the subconscious has a near perfect memory of events and things you've read and learned etc - some personal examples my subconscious was able to tell me: pi to about 50-60 places (this was during meditation not a dream, otherwise I wouldnt have been able to write it down as I went and check it out after), the location of various objects I'd lost, and even some weird facts about distant stars that I'd never read up about but apparently absorbed at some point in the past and forgot. (which I of course immediately looked up and was astonished to find were all spot on)
I had a lucid dream last night, and I was in school hanging from a tube from the roof for some reason, and everyone was just ignoring me and acting like normal, and I fell and it scared me awake
I've been trying to find a way to speak to my subconscious. Never have I thought about just dreaming of looking into a mirror and speaking to the reflection
I know what you mean by boxing up emotions and sticking them back, but I have found out that the only time I cry is when I have been strong for too long. It's not a bad thing, but for some reason I will never cry in front of someone. I think I will ask my subconscious why that is haha :). Great video man.
Lulz, I am king of lucid dreaming because I am the only one I know of who has been bored in a lucid dream hahah. Or is that super bad..Anyways, I have found that no matter what that after a while of experimenting internally in dreams, you yourself will be the speaker of the high knowledge. You won't necessarily bring these "aesthetic realizations" about consciously but you will react like as if you knew it already. Talking to your conscious is cool though, you are right that any being in there is fair game even an attacker or enemy, so long as you ask in a different emotion than nervous fear. Here are some cool tricks to do lucid dreaming as not to have the same bored dreaming I did. -Take ur cellphone from out your pocket and say "hey ___ how are you today (question/comment here)", I even called god one time, he sounded like a singing whale, dissapointing huh?lol srry godskeez.. -Try doing an activity you know how to do in real life extremely well, if you concentrate at doing it physically, it will strengthen your overall lucid perception. If it is a hobby like guitar playing or anything where you are trying to gain skill physically, it is a great place to apply theories because the result is almost guaranteed but don't play too ahead of your skill range all the time or you will forget about concentration. -if you are attacked, I don't care how badly, as long as you are conscious enough to remember, play your most adored and enjoyable song in your head. Enjoy it because it will sound EXTRA EXTRA good and fuck the attacker he doesn't matter any more, you are rocking out and singing now. -Try walking at slightly slower than regular pace and observe your surroundings, remember where true perception comes from? within. That isn't any different in astral realm. As far as practicality goes, everything around you is a great big playground of distraction and you are not going to get philosophical breakthroughs fast enough always playing around without goal. -Try doing "human" things instead of just godly things. Blink, breathe, read, play with your hands. P.S. blinking can be a real useful technique. It can be used as a "swaping" effect if you need for something to change without the hassle of you changing it. Takes practice and "assured" intent though. -Try "summoning" a beautiful woman you respect and love instead of a super hot situation all of the time. Hugging and closing your eyes or talking to them will give you a great feeling when you wake up. These are general things that are meant to be broken and applied in various ways for various reasons. If I went into specifics it would be a long list. maybe someone can help by posting other fun shit they do other than fly around fucking ,destroying and playing around unfulfillingly.
Apparently my subconscious has bright red hair and glowing electric blue eyes... but I was too freaked out to talk and it wasn't a lucid dream. XD To make matters worse the mirror was the only face I saw in the dream aside from this chick who was in my room for some reason, crying heaps of mascara. I think, judging by the contents of the dream that I remember, it may have been my subconscious mind telling me something using metaphors of the dream characters. One faceless character was named Fear and the girl in my room had the name Anxiety, if I recall correctly. It was one of those things where the name just came into my head, y'know? *shrugs*
I conquered my spider phobia in a dream. I tried to talk to my subconscious once, but I don't think it worked to well. I will definitely try it again after this video!
Phyankord cheers every where else iv'e looked or asked hasn't explained it in a good of a way as you have, this make what i wanna try a lot easier, plus not to mention the technique you offered thx mate! you too for the vids giz :)
Once, in a dream, I had asked a friend of mine "When am I going to wake up?" his response was "One minute." After he responded I said "Promise me you will wake me up" and I woke up.
"You can control everything" Have you ever practiced dream inquiry? Once I started doing that, it completely reshaped my idea of "Control" in a lucid dream. I am PMing you a quote from a book that addresses this and many other lucid dreaming practices that goes much more in depth than just dream manipulation. It discusses using lucid dreaming as a vehicle for developing insight on the nature of reality and the "self". It's called "Lucid Dreaming: Gateway to the Inner Self"
pause the video right before he starts talking about the emotional part. Open new tap. Go to TH-cam (again) and search sad violin. Play both videos. Enjoy.
I accidentally succeeded in "speaking" (A bit more complicated and intimate than that) to my subconcious while awake and found out that due to a missing aspect of emotion, the fear of my subconcious was itself. Fortunately I was also given instructions for correcting the emotional setup, and that was to connect myself emotionally to someone who allowed said missing aspect to constantly manifest.
Always when I try to talk to my subconcous it just answeres nonsense :/ Is there Something I can do to improve the connection/communication/understanding ?
+Sam Sam I heard somewhere that when you ask your subconscious stuff it'll sometimes answer in cryptic riddles and stuff, so maybe there's actually a deep meaning to what it's telling you.
+TheRubbaRazza Guy: "Hey Dream Guy, where did I leave my car keys?" Dream Character: "The path that is the oath shall have locked your key-chain through the void of living death". Guy then commits suicide in the dream out of riddle frustration. *wakes up*. Guy, now angry: "And I thought lucid dreaming was easy..."
Very interesting, When i ask my subconscious to tell me what is my God given talent, every single projection has said to me, "I'm sorry I can't tell you, I'll die." I conviced one projection and she told me that i was master of some type of dark arts (the projection said it in Latin). She left due to be forgetting about her. Latter on in the dream she appeared randomly and gave me something (not sure wat it was) and told me to run. Right after that she burst into flames and my dream ended.
every time I lucid dream my subconscious seems like an enemy to me. it's really weird like I spend the entire dream doing awesome stuff then whenever my subconscious comes in he smiles in like a really creepy way (picture venom smiling) and he kills me. but before he shows up I always feel his presence like I know he's about to come and I try to force myself awake but it never works.Idk how to lucid dream every time I do it's by accident. whats happening? is it possible that I secretly hate myself?
Giz, I'm the same way, the only thing is that I haven't lucid dreamed yet, and my main goal in lucid dreaming is to talk to my sub-conscience... oh yeah, and I'm still in high school, that might be a bit of a difference.
My current dream goals/main reasons to practice lucid dreaming: 1. Find out what to do with my life. I have no idea about which school to choose when it's time for that, because I don't know what I want to do in life! 2. The most urgent one is to find out whether or not I should take my ex back. 3. I really want to meet a bunch of celebrities! Some of them I just HAVE to talk to (one died before I was born, so yeah...), and two of them... Well... Not just talk to... 4. Of course, the cliché one: flying!! :D
I had my first lucid dream last night. I done a reality check and found that it failed. I had to urge myself to stay calm. Then I decided to fly. The flying was like a very strong falling sensation. It was very uncomfortable. The sensation was so strong that is caused me to wake up. Moral of story: Work your way up to bigger things xP
Don't worry, I'm working on it and I have been practicing since like August ;) I'm surprised you actually could fly though! In my first like 3-4 lucid dreams I just woke up immediately, and in all the ones I've had yet, I've not been able to do anything cool (except from failing my reality tests, and I think I kind of sort of manifested a black limousine) so I'm impressed!
Read a book by Robert Wagonner. I think its called "Gateway to the innerself" he speaks about speaking to you subconscious as well during lucid dreaming. He also talks about shared dreaming and other psychic stuff.
I once yelled SHOW ME SOMETHING AMAZING! and it started raining red dropplets or blood? and then the streets was suddenly filled with 10m high water and i saw pink dolphins jumping around.. it was weird but amazing i guess
If there was a dream that you couldn't remember because you weren't conscious enough while you were having it. Would your subconscious still remember it? If so could you re-live dreams that you don't remember?
this shit carzy man cause my whole life i had dreams were i could trun the tv channel when i have a bad dream but i also had sleep paralysis and very bad anxsty but i found out that it could just be a dream problem were i dont get my information right cause did u ever have a dream were u can control it, no matter how hard u try it always does wat it want, so maybe when i had a panic attack, it just my mind think its changing, like a dream bro, idk man this shit fuck with me i would really need some feed back, its hard for me to enjoy life without thinking somthing it holding me back
Any suggestion about how to overcome the fear? I've reach the pre lucid dream and I ask my characters if am dreaming, while they deny I start to bite and hit my arms to check how much it hurts (usually it doesn't) and if I'm dreaming, but is always so dark and terryfing surrounding that I just want to wake up. But in reality I would love to reach a lucid dream.
If I learnt how to do this, do you think I could find out more about a traumatising event? Would this be helpful at overcoming problems, or does it have the potential to make things a lot worse? 'Things' meaning, my mental/ emotional state.
Hey Giz.. i've been studying LDs for about 2 years now,and something that gets me better results to getting lucid while in a dream is motivation. So what does motivate you to keep on with the lucid dreams and what is your daily practice on LD? (Reality checks, mantras, etc.) Cheers
giz, you should do a video about tulpa(e). Theyre basically an extension of your subconscious that is fully sentient that you can talk to even when you arent dreaming. i realize this sounds insane, but i highly advise you to just take a look at it because its a very interesting thought. More or less, theyre a self enduecd hallucination
i really liked this video cos what i noticed is not many people actually give examples of what they have asked their sub conscious please ask more things especially the dream job one cos i want to know if it works for you and your thoughts on the answer you receive
My entire goal with lucid dreaming was to talk to myself and ask myself those kinds of questions. My first one was going to be "How can I get myself lucid in my dreams more often" (or for a second time, as I have not LD'd yet). Is that possible and would it actually work for you?
Does the speed of the delivery of message have any effect on rather the subconscious picks the message up processes it and stores and manifest it? For example if a message is being delivered to the subconscious mind with the speed of a "cassette tape playing fast forward" would the subconscious still understand pickup process and store and manifest the affirmation
haha I think your pretty cool ^_^ I like the way you act all chilled out and goofy. and by the way, your not the only one that has cried over an internal experience. I tried it after watching your video and saw some craziness. You can learn a lot about yourself just by sleeping. Kind of weird, huh?
Just had my first lucid dream. As soon as I realized, I just panicked and thought that entities would appear then this woman with a mask appeared in my house. I freaked out. I wanted to wake up but couldn't. And I was in the air flying but I had no control at all, the place was shaking it was madness. Then the woman got closer and I told her with my thoughts "to get the fuck away from me" she didn't take it well then started screaming. Then luckily I woke up. Next time, I'll try to be calmer and nicer to entities.
I could imagine that in a movie lol yeah when u see that stuff just breathe and remind yourself its just a dream then things will get calmer I remember my first lucid dream when I was 10
need some help i had the mild technique and got an LD but even though i had the majority of control it was still not quite rite i tried to manafest something and something completely random pops up instead and the place i was in was a place ive never seen in my life
My subcontious is messed up. I asked a dream character what my dream job is, she responded "Whatever you want it to be dear".
Freaking troll... If anyone has advice on how to fix this I'd love to hear it.

AlmostLuck Why asking Subconscious?
It's programmed based on what happened to you when you were a child. Often it's full of shit.
speaking to anyone who is not you is already speaking to your subconscious
Thanks for letting me know. I find it kinda creepy talking to a mirror.
First time I lucid dreamed I summoned up a me and couldn't think of what to ask so I asked if I was nice.
It said yes, so I knew it was full of shit.
i asked for myself also and we both ran and hugged each other
but i got scared and ended the dream because i didnt want her to feed off of my fear and morph into something scary
I always end up taking all my clothes off and jumping out of a window when I lucid dream, is something wrong with me? :/
+max010113 Probably, yeah.
TheRubbaRazza :(
***** k :)
+max010113 nope its normal

Aeonic Woah. I will try that next time :D
Step 1. Pause at 4:48
Step 2. Look up sad violin
Step 3. Play both videos at the same time
Step 4. Enjoy the show
lol just did they funny
haha
haha really

My subconscious is an a-hole...everytime i do an RC during a dream it tazes me
This is late, but that was funny.
ScoutSpyScout maybe it’s just stoping you
I tried flying during a lucid dream, it failed I fell off a cliff and I woke up.
Professor Snugs my dream life right now
Axier at least you flew.....down😅🙃
Same, I was driving a car, and it was fine until, I remembered I was only 15 and couldnt drive. So i crashed and woke up.
I think I would want to fight myself if I turned around and saw a replica of myself standing there. Peter Griffon vs The Chicken style.
ThatRapperGuy Paris omg i remember that episode 😂😂😂
ThatRapperGuy Paris I gonna try that
woa........that is my biggest fear right there.....i think about it all the time, and i always end up crying
***** it was a powerful experience...
can't you try it again in your next lucid dream? maybe you find out more
+𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐲𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 (ᴄʜʀɪsᴛɪᴀɴ ᴏʀᴛʜᴏᴅᴏx) so what does "alone" mean? his dream said "your biggest FEAR is to die alone, not dyeing in general.........
its weird for me because "OA is the shortcut for Wacken Open Air. a huge metal festival in germany and with that shortcut your sentence made sense

+JesusGreen finally i can ask my subconcious where i left my guitar penny that i use to play the guitar with
only if i can lucid dream
oh well..
Thanks for the roaring laughter lol LOVE your channel!!
I start lucid dreaming but the dream falls apart quick after I realize I'm dreaming and I wake up.
Bro I haven't watched your vids since about my senior year of high school when I was heavy into lucid dreaming glad your still going! I resubed!
One of my goals is to talk to my subconscious and ask things like my fears, my passion when i have my first lucid dreams
I'm not alone :')
My subconscious cam in the form of a wolf. It said "have no shame in yourself."
I saw my subconscious in a lucid dream for the first time a few weeks ago and now people think I'm crazy because I now refer to my subconscious as a "he" XD.
Wait how do you know who your subconscious in a dream is
Cheese Boy I just asked him to be honest. Then I asked him questions and I genuinely feel like the answers he gave me were real.
+TheRubbaRazza be careful with that .. Your subconscious is able to stop you from reaching lucidity I think .. I spoke to mine a few times and one time I asked him a question that I think he didn't like and I wasn't able to reach lucidity for about 10 months after that which is unusual for me
Why are you referring to your subconscious as a "he"
Cheese Boy Because my subconscious appeared to me in the form of person.
And I'm glad your mum is ok.
my dad died when I was 3 and I got to say goodbye to him because of lucid dreaming
I'll probably die alone.
No you won't god is with you
How do you know that your "subconscious" was not just a projection of your conscious mind?
Imagine a river slowly flowing in a forest. The leaves trying to hide the river. When you touch the water, you know it was there, even if the leaves tell you, that the droplets of rain they hold are the better, more reliable and ultimatly real flow of water. It couses grand emotions. probably. But as he said, in the end, you never know.
Love your videos! They inspire me so much! :D
aawww yeah just remembered this one. for days I had been having nightmares about a Cyclops chasing me up the stairs and the door being locked but one night I turned around and punched him super hard in the face and never had the dream again
You should bring this background music back. It's really catchy and I think it defines your channel in a way.
That story is exactly what I am. But a different fear. I actually did cry, I actually did find out that the dream wasn't lying... Wow.
Josh Ward I've had similar experiences. I always want to go back to sleep so I can reunite with my one true dream love haha. Never works
Same bro, but I knew that already and I cry daily.
Unfortunately, my greatest fear regarding death is inevitable: dying without first knowing everything there is to know. Not knowing everything is fine, but I want to know it *eventually*. Something to just get used to.
Such a good youtuber
Awesome, this is actually one the largest reasons I want to lucid dream.
I really really got tired of lucid dreaming. When it happens I get to be like what now, shit is gonna be boring.
Omg this was soooo effen funny!! Not the sad part, but you. How u act. I needed a good laugh so thanks.
I know what you mean by boxing up emotions and sticking them back, but I have found out that the only time I cry is when I have been strong for too long. It's not a bad thing, but for some reason I will never cry in front of someone. I think I will ask my subconscious why that is haha :). Great video man.
Powerful
I keep imagining you crying in a long labored and awkward cry like Zach Galafinakas in Hangover 3 lol. Keep those vids coming.
Once, in a dream, I had asked a friend of mine "When am I going to wake up?" his response was "One minute." After he responded I said "Promise me you will wake me up" and I woke up.
i'm pretty sure you can in fact tell your brain to send nerves to wake you up, but it might not be exactly when you want it to be.
How did you do it!? I whild love to try it myself :)
Lovisa Jansson
Wish I knew.
Always when I try to talk to my subconcous it just answeres nonsense :/
Is there Something I can do to improve the connection/communication/understanding ?
+Sam Sam I heard somewhere that when you ask your subconscious stuff it'll sometimes answer in cryptic riddles and stuff, so maybe there's actually a deep meaning to what it's telling you.
+TheRubbaRazza
Guy: "Hey Dream Guy, where did I leave my car keys?"
Dream Character: "The path that is the oath shall have locked your key-chain through the void of living death".
Guy then commits suicide in the dream out of riddle frustration.
*wakes up*.
Guy, now angry: "And I thought lucid dreaming was easy..."
when your subconscious is more artistic than your conscious mind
Very interesting, When i ask my subconscious to tell me what is my God given talent, every single projection has said to me, "I'm sorry I can't tell you, I'll die." I conviced one projection and she told me that i was master of some type of dark arts (the projection said it in Latin). She left due to be forgetting about her. Latter on in the dream she appeared randomly and gave me something (not sure wat it was) and told me to run. Right after that she burst into flames and my dream ended.
This video published February 13th 2013, its exactly 3 years later tomorrow. and it's my birthday lol coincidence. maybe synchronicity
omg feb 11th is a birthday
every time I lucid dream my subconscious seems like an enemy to me. it's really weird like I spend the entire dream doing awesome stuff then whenever my subconscious comes in he smiles in like a really creepy way (picture venom smiling) and he kills me. but before he shows up I always feel his presence like I know he's about to come and I try to force myself awake but it never works.Idk how to lucid dream every time I do it's by accident. whats happening? is it possible that I secretly hate myself?
Giz, I'm the same way, the only thing is that I haven't lucid dreamed yet, and my main goal in lucid dreaming is to talk to my sub-conscience...
oh yeah, and I'm still in high school, that might be a bit of a difference.
"no my mum's fine" hahah
I always figured any dream character is your subconscious but only until you talk to them and ask.
My current dream goals/main reasons to practice lucid dreaming:
OcelotPlays Yes, it's pretty common for younger children to have them :)
+Litebikeman 97 i say that the subconscious remembers every single thing you do, and dream..
You won't die alone, silly , what are we for???
That doesn't mean that that isn't his fear though.
+King Keegster I know it's his fear , and I don't want him to be afraid of that because we are always here for him
Your showing emotions problem is just like mine!
+GizEdwards here is the video you were talking about during the live stream.
As you said bursting out laughter, HYES I did xD
Holy shit this was an amazing video, very good!
your TH-cam audience will be with you at the least!
That was my biggest fear too.. and I experience something about dying alone man.
I had a dream last night, i'm not sure if this is level zero. I was told twice i was dreaming, but as far i i could remember i was not lucid.
this shit carzy man cause my whole life i had dreams were i could trun the tv channel when i have a bad dream but i also had sleep paralysis and very bad anxsty but i found out that it could just be a dream problem were i dont get my information right cause did u ever have a dream were u can control it, no matter how hard u try it always does wat it want, so maybe when i had a panic attack, it just my mind think its changing, like a dream bro, idk man this shit fuck with me i would really need some feed back, its hard for me to enjoy life without thinking somthing it holding me back
I didn't know I'd need my violin!
(Reality checks, mantras, etc.)
Cheers
giz, you should do a video about tulpa(e).
Nice one!
Does the speed of the delivery of message have any effect on rather the subconscious picks the message up processes it and stores and manifest it? For example if a message is being delivered to the subconscious mind with the speed of a "cassette tape playing fast forward" would the subconscious still understand pickup process and store and manifest the affirmation
wow...great video....I want to talk to my subconscious as well.
Ha! Pause the video, let it buffer and press 8 repeatedly, YOU'RE WELCOME!
Heyyyy don't think your audience is laughing at you :P the video was amazing and I'm proud.
haha I think your pretty cool ^_^ I like the way you act all chilled out and goofy. and by the way, your not the only one that has cried over an internal experience. I tried it after watching your video and saw some craziness. You can learn a lot about yourself just by sleeping. Kind of weird, huh?
more! more!
Can I ask my subconscious to make me stop stuttering (stammering)?
You could convince it to help you.
Wow this exactly what I want to do. How has it been for you? were you succsessful? I mean its been 5 years
TheEpicPineapple56 I know how hard it is being a stutterer
Wow, this really got me thinking. This is definitely something I'll try the next time I experience a lucid dream. If only I had more of them though :\
I just want to say that you are really beautiful person. There is very special and attractive quality in you.
I could imagine that in a movie lol yeah when u see that stuff just breathe and remind yourself its just a dream then things will get calmer
I remember my first lucid dream when I was 10
need some help i had the mild technique and got an LD but even though i had the majority of control it was still not quite rite i tried to manafest something and something completely random pops up instead and the place i was in was a place ive never seen in my life
