"I've got everything that I need" 🤗🤗🤗 That is a sign of tip top Dadding. This reminded me of my Dad making me a castle when I was little. The main part of the castle was a Edwardian Bell Board (as seen in Upstairs Downstairs and ghost movies), with drilled out cotton reels stack up for turrets. I've still got it, over half a century later.
Oh wow! That’s an awesome sounding set, even better that you still have it, usually those things disappear to time etc. thanks for sharing that story 😍🙏😍 Peachy

Absolute hero! I hope young master Charles had a fantastic Christmas Day! Let’s be honest, there’s barely a non-zero chance he didn’t enjoy that play set. And even if he didn’t, we sure as heck did and I know you do too, Peach.
What a wonderful thing to make and give your son. I’m sure he loved it! Thank you for sharing this with us! I love the idea of different movie battle boxes being created (you’d have to do 006 and 007 in the Soviet facility in Goldeneye). Fort Knox at the end of Goldfinger would be great too. The possibilities here feel almost endless! 📽️🎁🍑
Peachy, your video inspired me to design a game for the set of minis you made (or a similar set). I don't know that it's balanced (I haven't actually playtested it, but I've tried to give a slight advantage to the Hero player.) It designed to mostly only require a small amount of addition, no complicated rules, ideal for the young budding hobbyist but also having a little tactical decisions in it to keep the adult interested. The Spy that Shot Me You'll need some appropriate terrain, some miniatures, a measuring tape and a bunch of d6, and a few d8s, and d10s. Each team consists of one or two special characters and a bunch of regular characters. Each round there are 4 phases: Move, Shoot & Fight, Cover, Actions. In the first round the Villain picks first in the Move phase and the Hero picks first in the Action phase. Switch for each next round. In the Move phase players alternate picking a model with 2 dice and rolling one or both of them to move. The model moves the total of the roll plus 2". (Optional rule: you can roll one die and then choose to roll the other.) Once one player passes the other player may move up to 2 more models. In the Shoot & Fight phase players pick up all the dice from their models that they want to use. Both players roll their dice simultaneously and count the number of dice that got 6+ which count as Hits. This is how many models their opponent must lose. There is no distinction between Shooting and Melee. In the Cover phase if any models have any dice left any number can be used to Take Cover. Every 5+ reduces the number of Hits by 1. Then both players take turns removing models until all the Hits have been applied. In the Action phase players alternate picking models with dice left who may either move or do an action if the scenario contains actions. Scenario 1: Battle Cast: Hero: 1 Bames Jond (d8 and d10), 1 Captain (d8 and d6), all the Sailors (2d6) vs Villain: 1 Captain Shiparus (2d8), all the Goons (2d6). Setup: Each player should have a door or 6" strip on their side of the map that is their spawn point, as well as plenty of scatter terrain to make the battle look cool. Both players place their special characters touching their spawn point, as well as 6 regular characters. Special rules: Knock models over when they are Hit. Reinforcements: After each round the Villain player may pick up one of their Hit Goons from the board and add it to their reserves. Then each player places up to 3 Goons or Sailors touching their spawn point and start a new round. Victory: When one side can't place 3 Goons or Sailors at the end of the round they lose. If neither side can place 3 models it's a draw and everyone retreats. Scenario 2: Doomsday device Cast: Hero: 1 Bames Jond (d8 and d10), 1 Captain (d8 and d6), 2 Sailors (2d6) vs Villain: all the Goons (2d6) Setup: The map should have at least 4 doors and be as maze like as possible. There should also be a Doomsday device in the middle of the map. The Hero picks the door farthest from the Doomsday device and deploys all 4 of their models. The villain places 2 Goons at the Doomsday Device and 1 at each other door. Special rules: Stealth: Until the Alarm sounds the Villain may only Patrol or Spot, and may not Take Cover. Patrol: In the Move phase may spend one die to move 3". Spot (4+): If a Hero model is in sight of a Goon, or it has been attacked and not Hit it can Sound the Alarm on a 4+ during the Action phase. Disarm the Doomsday Device(6+): In the action phase a single Hero may make one attempt to disarm the Doomsday Device succeeding on a 6+. Reinforcements: After each round, until the Alarm Sounds the Villain player adds one Goon at any door besides the one the Hero picked. After the Alarm Sounds they may place 2 Goons with the same restrictions. The Hero does not get reinforcements. Victory: If the Doomsday Device is disarmed and at least one Hero escapes it's a major Hero victory. If the Doomsday Device is disarmed but all the Heroes are defeated it's a minor Hero victory. Otherwise it's a major Villain victory. I'm sure you can create some more scenarios yourself with ease.
This is super cool and sweet! Gonna need to settle in and give it a proper read through, but from what I’ve seen it’s very fun game system, like how the evil genuis get to pick who moves first, but the good guys get to act first…..that’s very cinematic. Awesome stuff
Merry Christmas Peachy, Mrs Peachy, Charlie and all your supportrers. What a lovely TH-cam vid to watch whilst Christmas dinner is settling down and the booze is wearing off. A great replacement for the Christmas Day Bond movie from my childhood. It maybe on, but "er indoors' has control of the doof.🤣

Let’s be honest, there’s barely a non-zero chance he didn’t enjoy that play set. And even if he didn’t, we sure as heck did and I know you do too, Peach.
Top dadding. Love how you try to keep it robust.
Love this! What a great gift!
Absolutely wonderful stuff!
Use to love watching bond with my dad, great scene too
This is a fantastic gift idea. Hope you and the family had a great Christmas!
Oooh these are smashing ideas James, particularly like the bit where you said 006 🫶😂
@ haha I thought you’d like that inclusion! 😂 Also you could call this ‘Bond in a box’.
@@James__V😂👍 from the Bonding with kids range
I wish you were my dad, Peachy lol what a great project for Charlie's imagination well done, sir, well done
The Spy that Shot Me
You'll need some appropriate terrain, some miniatures, a measuring tape and a bunch of d6, and a few d8s, and d10s.
Scenario 1: Battle
Cast: Hero: 1 Bames Jond (d8 and d10), 1 Captain (d8 and d6), all the Sailors (2d6) vs Villain: 1 Captain Shiparus (2d8), all the Goons (2d6).
Scenario 2: Doomsday device
Cast: Hero: 1 Bames Jond (d8 and d10), 1 Captain (d8 and d6), 2 Sailors (2d6) vs Villain: all the Goons (2d6)
Setup: The map should have at least 4 doors and be as maze like as possible.
@@PeachyTips Also if you're not familiar with Applepicking28, Fishing28 and the like (non-combat warhammer) those might be worth checking out.
😂😂😂 and a merry Christmas too you to 👍
This is the kind of hobby content i want, not people virtue signaling about female marines
A veritable feast for the eyes! Id love to see you do a Moonraker one, with the Revell Moonraker Shuttle as the centrepiece!!!
Oooh I had forgotten about the rebel kits 😍👍 smashing stuff
A lot of love in this video. Thanks 🥰
It was such a fun project to do, i suspect this might end up being a regular thing now lol
Sadly my kid is not as fond of playing with minis with daddy. I manage a bit of Blood Bowl and now Rumbleslam, but I have given hope to cry things like Necromunda...
Seems to be plenty in the comments too 😊
Peachy setting the bar high for us hobby dads. Unfortunately my little one is all about unicorns instead of Bond. Best get started on some unicorn scalextric combo.
Hahaha! I’d call they my little pony express 😂
What a great present, best set of toy soldiers for a kid that likes James Bond, plus free terrain.. so much better than I imagined, cool 007 branding too. Hope everyone at Peach Manor had a lovely day. ❤
Cheers!!! It felt so good making this and he definitely liked it. It’s been a great day.
Hope you had a goodun too
You have one lucky kid. Great video as always.
This is amazing, you’re a great dad! Charley is a lucky lad…
I’m a lucky dad tbh, it’s nice having a little one to share the hobby with 😍
Merry Christmas Peachy, Mrs Peach & Charlie. 🎄🎁 Wishing you all a 2025 filled with, love, happiness, prosperity, adventure, and laughter.
PS Thank you for the video. Came in very handy during the 3am feed. 🙂
John & Theodore
Oof yeah I dont miss those late night feeds, unless it was you and you were peckish 😂
and a Merry Christmas to you and the family. Wishing you all the joy and goodness back 🫶
@PeachyTips not me on this occasion. 6 weeks today.
@@johnbattyll6874🥹🥹🥹 CONGRATS!!! Rollercoaster of emotions to come all brilliant and wholesome
@PeachyTips Thank you Peachy 😊
Absolutely lovely, 110% appropriate holiday wholesomeness :)
This is so cute! Maybe some day he'll get a submarine to go with it.
Ha! That’s next years present then lol
This is so lovely, he'll cherish this forever as you made it for him. money can't buy that. now as it's Christmas off to watch Bond.
😍🙌😍
Awesome video mate, maybe you can do Moonraker for the second set, I just want to see you try to make Jaws and a space station set 😂😂😂
Hahaha! I mean that would be a fun project tbh. There’s already a model of Jaws so that’s already a ticked box, the space station well that’s another story 😂
Not only is this an amazing present it's such a good idea. My big one is getting into wargames and this would be a perfect gift. Infinite imaginitive play, all the stuff he's into, and contained nicely. In fact it's so good my wife probably wouldn't complain lol
One of my favourite projects this year, even if it was simplified for play, you never know the wife might want to help out in the construction…..all good hobby fun
Super glad to hear the video's inspired you to make your own! I can confirm, it has wifely approval (we've a happy little boy, playing quietly and it all packs away neatly when finished with)!
Luv Mrs Peach 🍑
First of many Bondian battle scenes, love it.
Amazing. I hope Charlie loves his present. I remember when i was a child my dad made me a lego moonbase set. It had an A2 flat lego sheet to stick things on. With paper mache craters and mountains round the edges. All spray painted grey to be the surface of the moon. I loved that thing for many many years. Thank you for reminding me of such a wonderful memory i haven't thought about in a long time😊
Thankyou Laurence and its super lovely to hear how Peach's video has brought back happy memories of your own childhood! Hope you had a lovely Xmas and you have a super new year!
Luv Mrs Peach 🍑
This is such a lovely idea for a playset, my boys (similar age) have been painting and collecting wild west stuff and I wonder if I could do a wild west saloon interior or something like that.
Ooh that’s cool! Deck it out with some coffee stirrers for the genuine added wooden effect
I've Been Waiting to see what this looked liked ever since you talked about doing it on the podcast. Such a cool idea and it looks great.
‘Nobody does it better…..’ oh mate this was fab. Tell me you’ll do Moonraker next with the space station! - give them all tanker helmets or something? Thanks for this, Merry Christmas to you all.
That’s certainly on my list, and I can make a Jaws too, can be used in both sets. That tanker helm is a smart suggestion 😘👌
Good call peachy-dad-dude. Charly happy? Merry Christmas.
Yes you did, plus those sticky magnets are awesome too
Really great magnets tbh, I was a bit worried they wouldn’t do the job, but blown away by how well they stick and magnetise stuff
Great video again!
This is just properly, genuinely absolutely brilliant.
all the compliments...thanks!
Such a brilliant idea! I hope he loved them too!
I definitely did.…..phew 😅😂
Delightful video from start to finish. Merry Christmas to the boy Charlie!
Cheers Landon, was a lot of fun making the set and putting the vid together, and merry Christmas to you and the family. 😘
Great video. I think The Spy Who Loved Me was the first film I saw at the cinema with my dad. 7 year old me would have loved this play set!!
The only thing missing is a Wet Nellie 😂
Such a lovley idea and looks amazing. Bless you such a nice gift to give.
So cool, such a good idea, love the box
Thank you! was incredible good fun to do
You get to an age when you don't want stuff for Xmas, other than making those around you Happy. I think you've cracked it this year.
Great work loved all the footage TH-cam unsubbed me again weirdly so I'm pleased I caught this.
TH-cam’s weird tbh…..but thank you for sticking with me and supporting the channel…..it’s super appreciated
Welcome back Richard 😆 glad you enjoyed it 😊
Luv Mrs Peach 🍑
That was my favourite movie Scene as a little Lad as well. Love your Version, great present.
You are definitely doing the Dad thing right. Excellent gift. The gift of imagination and fun. I applaud you sir. I hope he was over the moon when he opened it. Merry Christmas to you and your family sir!
Side note. I could see making more rooms with the same boxes. Rigging them with doors where you could set up multiple rooms that connect at doorways. Set up a table load and play a room to room skirmish.
Thank you and I hope you had an excellent Christmas too. I think it was a big hit, he’s still playing with it now lol
I love this…..and it’s given me a whole host of battle set ideas for myself lol
@@PeachyTips run with it! But I want to see a video or two if you do!
This has got to be one of the coolest ideas I have ever seen!!!
