Living abroad can be as exciting as challenging and it’s always good to have a rounded perspective before you move to the place. Moving to the UK comes with both highs and lows and to be honest, I genuinely believe all the lows can be easily circumvented with the right information. Thanks. Great videos and can totally relate as i moved here couple of months back without family in a commuter town 2 hours frm london. Some other issues are NHS registration and getting health support , finding a good rank school for a young kid out of 10th grade, good community nearby, high cost of living and visa, high wait for small services like repair jobs etc...else its a manageable place

The homesickness bit hits home hard. I was in London for a month and couldn't bear it . You are going to make a life out there, so I can imagine how hard it must be. But it will get easier, as you say. Hang in there and congrats on the move!
