We just moved to the UK from India which brings us to how do you rent a house in the UK? How to rent an apartment in the UK? Here are my tips to rent in the UK. There are a few things I wish I knew before I moved to the UK. Renting is different everywhere. Figuring out where to live, whats is the cost of renting in the UK? Is the UK expensive. Did I use Rightmove, or Zoopla ? How much does rent cost in the UK ? Hopefully in this video, I am able to throw some light on how to rent in the UK by sharing from my own experiences.

When I went to UK, I used Sable international, which helps you get a HSBC bank account in UK once you arrive. I was hesitant about it being a scam, but went very smoothly, so was well worth the relatively small fee they charge.

My office is in Canary whraf n I found maidenhead a beautiful place to search home for rent..
Can you suggest good sources to find schools n houses for rent (2adults+2kids)..

Hi Pushpa. It’s honestly tricky. We tried calling a bunch of realtors. One day a showing over zoom cuz that was during covid. The others didn’t reply. So it’s difficult. Plus the challenge of giving income proof etc.

Hey Heena, unfortunately most realtors won’t even entertain you before you get to the UK. Plus you need to show proofs to get a house. Stay out of a hotel or airbnb initially and look in parallel for a house after arriving in the UK
