  • Are your expectations going to match reality after moving to the UK? If you plan on moving to the UK you will have a lot of expectations. But will your expectations match the reality once you get here? There is no straight answer.
    In this video, I break down which of my expectations matched the reality and which didn’t and also bust some myths while I’m at it.
    I moved from India to the UK 6 months ago with my family and dogs and it’s been challenging to say the least. Since we moved to England, we’ve had our fair share of challenges. Some expected, some not.
    I put out a new video every week on moving to the UK or London and life in the UK once you get here so if you plan on moving to the UK, this is the channel for you!

      @@AbsolutelyAshika RM, Zoopla,Openrent tried all, getting very few options. See if there is any other way out. Just try. Also, do you have any idea about Romford, like is it a good place to live (with respect to Indian stores, food options, etc), or i should look for a town nearby?

    Interesting video
    What you do for living if I may ask? How's difficult it is to move n settle with toddler ? Or its better to move when kid is school going n independent.

    • @AbsolutelyAshika
      @AbsolutelyAshika  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Shivsi. I’m a full-time TH-camr now. Moving with a toddler can be challenging because you’ve got a million things that need attention along with him. But that being said it’s not impossible. Something to bear in mind is that day care isn’t free in the UK while school from reception onwards is. Might help in making a decision.

    Okay we definitely need answers from Karan Johar about what SRK did in London for a living!
    Like come on! If I grew up in such a house I’d never leave.

    Gosh, without any prejudice, it seems like your not enjoying life in London/Reading. Obviously, you shouldn't have high expectations. You have to work hard for your grind.

    • @AbsolutelyAshika
      @AbsolutelyAshika  ปีที่แล้ว

      On the contrary, apart from having to cook which I hate, I love my life here. But it’s important to present all options to viewers because it’s a big decision.

    Expectation reap what you sow 90s boom.. Vs reap what you sow the seeds of distraction immigration doom and gloom ethnic war on the jobs housing across Europe let alone the UK people can't work or live properly.. look back home reap what you sow 3rd world what can you offer me replacement regime crisis.. An old saying hit 3 birds with 1 stone, no migrant crisis automatically equals no job crisis and no housing crisis..
