I don’t think you can get something convincing using only that. Pink Floyd tones are too much complex. You need at least some pedals

You can certainly get tones that are convincing using the Boss Katana software. Playing with the right dynamics and nuances of Gilmour's playing is the most important if you want to sound like him. If you do that, playing through a Katana is more than fine

I bought the David Gilmour pack for amplitube 5, but have no idea how to install or get the program to recognize them. I added the plugin files to all 3 possible plugins folders associated with amplitube but nothing works.

Hi, there’s nothing wrong with the pack itself. But you should know how the software works. There’s nothing to install or other programs. You just need to import them

I can’t tell. I purchased Amplitube 5 and I don’t think the free version has all the features. For sure I didn’t buy any separate stomp effects

Ok mi sono preso una buona settimana di test prima di recensire il pack, anche perché sono pieno di ir e tonex sul tema quindi bisogna fare un po di test XD al netto appunto dei cambi con le ir o profili i preset sono eccellenti. La prima cosa da cui di si denota la qualità professionale è che la chitarra "buca" il mixer e si incastra perfettamente nelle backing track di turno, cura dei dettagli e intuizioni ottime sulle compressioni...non resta che attendere i successivi pack anche perché con gilmour ci sono legendary tones PIU' legendary XD delicate e pulse prima di subito grazie XD mai divertito così a fare sorrow!
