The amount of people that wanted a 2nd, longer version of this jam was pretty big, so I hope this will suffice.
I tried to make the track in a way that would get the most out of both styles of playing. A slow epic part for Gilmour's sound and a slow build-up encore a la Alchemy Live Sultans of Swing at the end.
Oh, and I play a bit of piano.
Played on my Epiphone Les Paul Classic and my Fender Vintera 50s mod strat through a Fender Blues Junior.

For me, this channel feels like a godsend for a huge Dire Straits fan, and for someone who also enjoys Pink Floyd. You're an incredibly talented guitarist and you deserve way more subscribers. Also, was I the only one getting some Telegraph Road vibes from the beginning? The outro reminded me a lot of Tunnel of Love as well. Amazing job on both Knopfler and Gilmour's styles.

Ez óriási volt. Sosem hallottam még olyat, aki ennyire vérfagyasztóan profin lemásolta Knopflert. Szép íve van, szépen bemutatod a korai és kései stílusjegyeket, nagyon tetszik, ahogy egybeolvasztottál adott frázisokon keresztül különböző számokat. Gilmourt is ügyesen hozod, látszik, hogy jól ismered az életművét. Tényleg, le a kalappal.

I wrote in the past, but will write again, as Dire Straits and Pink Floyd are all time favourite bands for me, I literally know ALL their compositions by memory (by heart). Was learning to play them for 20 years, but still nowhere close to your amazing skill. That passage from Telegraph Road (which I consider the greatest blues rock ballad of all time, far superior to obvious one of the Queen band, tho it's excellent too...) to Brothers in Arms, Comfortably Numb and Cluster One, etc... You are brilliant young guitarist, continue to polish your talent! Shine on, you crazy diamond!

Unbelievable. To show how simple these two giants playing styles are ( until you try to eek the sounds out) the nuances and tone are perfect - their runs and tricks trills , pull offs , hammers and bends , favorite notes , pauses their essence is captured in a beautiful way. Damn those two are priceless Gems .

Our baby boy has seen this video 1,000 times, and he totally loves this composition and has seen many others from your collection. I truly have to thank you; these videos have saved my wife and me countless hours of baby soothing. Man, we have played them over and over, even during diaper changes, so he can be relaxed.

Beautiful. True music. Evocative of both, true to both, but all your own interpretation and skill to match both and maybe even surpass them. (at least in this variation. ) I heard both and felt a tingle that thrilled my soul just like it did when I heard each guitarist play way back when I was much younger. That takes real skill to replicate even on a cover track. To do both at once? My mind was more than blown, Thank you, I thought I would never hear this kind of music again, but I was wrong, so very wrong.
Thanks for this. I would travel far, spend much, and if need be, sell a body part to see those two in concert together.

This was absolutely exceptional. I felt some things I feel when listening to the real Mark and David. You’ve a killer sense of melody, and that final Knopfleresque solo brought a bloody tear to my eye. You’ve clearly been studying his technique for years, because you’re flawless. I’ve never seen or heard anything like it from anyone but the man himself. Kudos to you, my friend. You are a cut above the rest, when it comes to guitarists.
