Hey again - it's still on the table getting admired. The 'another knitting pod' podcaster started the alpenglow blanket and absolutely hated the process, it's put me off a bit so I'm still on the fence about the perfect pattern for the blanket. What are you knitting now?
Funny - there used to be a show on kids TV here where at the end the host used to look in her 'magic mirror' and rattle off a dozen or so children's names. I was always disappointed because she never once said Ailsa (nor any non-Anglo name now I think about it lol) but she said my sister Karen's name all the time. She used to tease me and say I was invisible! Anyway, congratulations on being randomly selected .. email me at knitabulous@gmail..com and I'll get your postal address to send the tin of nifty gear out. Ailsa
Elsa, the Linen Quill set. How much fun!! I love Lena’s podcast and had so much fun watching her video walking through all the colors! Oh yes please a craft room tour! 🥰
I know - gorgeous. Craft room tour definitely in the works because we may be moving. My husband got a job 2000km away and starts Mid-November, exciting and scary..
Just discovered your podcast and subscribed. Great to have more Aussie’s sharing their fibre art love. Such a stunning haul, you could knit a gradient blanket or jumper.
Love your vests and the purl soho yarn such lovely colours. I agree about some of the garments in shows being frumpy, the state I live in the same woman (who’s president of the sewing guild ) wins every year using the same pattern for a blazer and skirt, that is rocking 1990s bank teller chic . It’s dismal 🙈, Bridget R
Hey, thank you for your comment. '90's bank teller chic' made me laugh so much. We see the same in the knitting shows here, there is one particular cabled fisherman style pullover pattern from the 70's that gets entered over and over again . It's such a shame, there are so many incredible knitters in Australia but they don't seem to be entering the agricultural shows as much as I wish they would.
What a haul! I’d just leave the Linen Quill on the table and admire it all day 😂. Knit the blanket please ❤

Wow, how exciting to hear my name on you tube 😁 love linen quill… have fun with whatever you do with it.

The blanket ❤those colours are amazing
Hi - thanks for commenting. The colours really are unbelievable - it's all still on the table getting admired every day.

Thank you Rachael, I'm going for the blanket with all that linen quill. Eventually. :-) Welcome here thanks for watching.
Beautiful knitting. Both vests are gorgeous.
Thank Barbara - the fit on them isn't the best but they're good summer wearables. Hope you're doing well.
