Hi Colleen, thank you so much for your comment, I don't feel like a natural when I start but I could talk the leg of a chair so I tend to warm up. Very nice of you to say that though. Hope to get to Canada one day, one of the few countries I have never visited but always wanted to.

Hello from Northern New South Wales 👋 lovely to see another Aussie knitter. Love the red sweater, very dramatic. Look forward to seeing your levitate wrap. Thanks for sharing, happy knitting, Karen

Hi Karen, I've been looking at your beautiful Ravelry projects for YEARS, so nice to meet you. You have great taste in patterns and your project pics are great. The levitate wrap is a RIP WIP I'm afraid, I've switched it out for a May Ball sweater from Florence. It was too floppy. :-(

@@Wearewoolpeople Oh thanks so much. RIP WIP oh dear. I watched your video and yes it does look like an oversized wrap. Best thing to do, rip it out and not let it sit. Happy knitting and see you next time x

I found your podcast last night and binge watched. Love your knitting thoughts and style. Thank you for making the podcast. (Torquay Vic)

Thanks for your comment Chris, thanks for sticking with those earlier ones with the terrible sound quality. I'm still learning, I keep forgetting to say goodbye properly. I love Torquay, we used to go there to surf when I was a teenager - very special place.

I also just found your podcast and as a New Zealander currently living in France I am always so happy to watch and listen to an antipodean channel. I totally agree with you regarding colour selection, it is definitely a talent as you say. Absolutely love the red sweater! Its fantastic. Looking forward to seeing more of your podcasts.

Thank you for your comment, I hope you're enjoying your French expat life - I lived in the UK for most of my 20's and got married there. I miss those days when we could duck over to Paris for the weekend. Take care and happy knitting..

Thank you for your comment, I really appreciate it. I love hearing an Australian accent on a knitting podcast too, I hope mine isn't too broad lol. :-)

I agree color theory and putting them together is a talent! I was a quilter and struggled so much with putting colors together. Some people can just look at them and know what goes & what doesn't. I'm in the US, TN outside Nashville. Hi!

Hi there in Nashville-ish viewer, thanks so much for commenting. I wish I was better with choosing good color palletes - I'd knit way more fair isle if I was. Sometimes I think that there is a gap in the fair isle kit or bundle market - I know there are some but I wish there was an online store dedicated to it. I'd be their first customer lol. Take it easy, thanks for watching. Ailsa

Hi from the Gold Coast. Your Red Jumper looks Great on You! Love the Wrap top and I do like the detail on the shoulder from the back. Not sure if you already know of it, there is an app called knitting companion, it’s great for storing your patterns from Ravelry but what I love is you can write notes on the bottom of the pages and and there are row counters on the side to keep you on track. Did I hear you say you were in Qld? Then you said you were near Helensburgh? That’s NSW. Have fun with all the Dogs lol 😂. Maree ❤

Thanks for your comment - I'm in NSW near Helensburgh, I hope I didn't say I was in Queensland (I think I was talking about the little yarn store). I do have knitting companion but I haven't worked out how to use it effectively - I should work on that.

From the U K, i love fairisle knitting,i do it with both hands, and having changes of colour,it seems to knit up faster❤

Thanks for commenting - I do my fair isle with both hands as well, I feel lucky my hands/brain just naturally did it that way right from the start. I've tried continental knitting but it doesn't feel natural to me.

I adore your channel. And that red sweater! Wow. As a new knitter,I just love watching everyone’s projects and processes.

Thanks you again!. You'll be suprised how fast you will go from beginner to an adventurous knitter. At the end of the day it's only variations of knit and purl and where you put the stick isn't it?

your Ballet wrap sounds like it has fully fashioned shoulders, similar to Gingerbliss cardigan by Truly Myrtle, uou should also check the Otira wrap .

Hi there, thanks for commenting on my post, I super appreciate it. I've noticed the English tailoring shoulder shaping is on a lot of Scandinavian patterns as well. I love it, I'll check out those patterns you suggest too. I love pattern suggestions.
