Q: What programs do you use to record/edit?
A: OBS Studio with the NVENC codec, I additionally stream with OBS Studio as well and use Adobe Premiere to edit my footage and Ipiccy.com to create the thumbnails for videos. Font used in thumbnails is "SteelFish"

I am a former USMC Scout (1st Recon.1stMARDIV.93-96) and one of the best things that helped me "transition" is now prescribed at the Veterans Administration (V.A.). It was Bf4 on Playstation, however it is NOTHING like this. I have both a word of encouragement and a question:
1-Word: Drew, and now what looks to be the men of your two fire teams; Gentlemen, I appreciate the obvious tactical play, but more so I appreciate the fact that you keep it clean (cursing, obscenity, etc.). #1 cursing is not allowed over the mic, and #2 for this reason, it displays a lack of professionalism and control. There is also a younger population that look up to you gentlemen, and with this, responsibility. While everyone is guilty of a slip of the tongue, you gentlemen operate in a professionally controlled manor.
2-Question: I am now a Mac consumer because of years of college (just 3 years left-ER!!!), and I am wondering: Do I need a PC to play this competitively? if so, what is a bottomline entry number for a PC cost so that we can "GET SOME" too?
I appreciate you gents! Keep up the OUTSTANDING "work!"

You guys work really well together, that's key to completing missions in Arma 3. Whenever I play with my friends they just shoot each other.
I love this game but I am just not computer savvy enough to figure out all the mods. I was able to build my own PC but then I hit a wall when it comes to fine tuning. Same with game. Never could get TF radio to work for example. I wish I had a tutor! Biggest problem for me is I am older with family, kids, coaching, work, etc. Hardly much time for gaming, let alone learning the mods. But I always enjoy the vids! Great job!

I can't answer the first question but for the second question the game is very demanding, you are gonna want a ryzen 5/ryzen 7 CPU or a 5th gen or more i5/i7 and 16gb of ram ddr3 ram or more, for a GPU I recommend a gtx 1060 8gb or a RX 580 8g , I am not a computer expert and I have never played this game so I could be wrong

I think i can help answer your computer question, i personally have as a gpu: GTX 1050ti 4gb with a cpu: Core i3 8th gen. quad core. And i can run Arma 3 at a decent 40-60 fps (frames per second) most times, but sometimes gets down to 38 in really woody and grassy areas. And its fairly playable. I can have draw distance up considerably high. I would never recommend you playing on a MAC computer because many games are not compatible and windows is your best option. If you want to run at a constant 60-80 fps i would recommend a decent GTX 1080 8GB and a viable Core i5 7th or 8th Gen. Best of luck in your gaming endeavors. Thanks for your service Sir. 👍

Just watching other groups do missions is nearly as fun as actually playing. The shit is so realistic that the U.S. military (Army specifically but not sure of the other branches) actually uses it now for training.
This is the 2nd best ArmA3 operation by far (2nd place to A-10 Warthog close air support operation)

Dude, these are the scenarios I wanna play. We only have 3-6 players to do missions with, though, and there isn't much I've found that's this fancy for so few.

What mod were you using to have that carrier? I checked both the USS nimitz and USS Freedom from the jets DLC but couldn't find that thing you came out of. I'm curious because I want to make a mission with that, and i hate having to make the player climb a ladder out into the water and hopping into a boat/tank.
