@@ControlledPairsGaming nah homie, gotta live the true infantry experience lol... you go out to get shot at if you don't have otherwise you just sit in a fob... nobody wants to just sit on the fob. Of course obviously there is a "plan" written by higher.. but if the plan is just walking through poppy fields in Helmand to bounce from village to village. That is the conventional infantry experience. Of course if you are doing a raid or something that you know there is guaranteed contact that you will be facing you will have more in depth briefs, that include terrain models, and tape houses and such.

Wow... The overlay for the briefing was amazing. Having the map and the snippet clips of the op was great.
So stoked to finally see your perspective! This was one of the most enjoyable ops I've ever been on and I thought the teamwork anyways tactical gameplay was absolutely on point for the whole thing. Let's do it again soon

Loving the Arma content! A lot of people say it's aged, and it is, but there is still so much potential with this game and it is still so much fun. I enjoy seeing it's surge in popularity again.

if this game was actually optimized and you had constant 60fps it would be like the best game ever, maybe arma4 will be thing done right.
What made it new for me was CF_BAI and Lambs Danger.
Arma2 is aged. Arma3 is the current MilSim. There aint no other game out there that's even close. When Arma4 comes, then Arma3 will be aged after a year or two when Steam workshop is filled with mods, missions, tweaks etc etc. We can all wish for another developer to make a milsim game open as Arma, but I dont think it will happened anytime soon.

It's probably been said many times before but I hope one day we'll have the beauty and mechanics of squad with the scale and depth of Arma.

@@tsoliot5913 I wish Insurgency tried to expand their gameplay to include longer range engagements and more use of the technical, the gunplay and design is incredible but the way the maps play out is extremely boring and exactly the same every game
I think a new engine could do it today. When Arma 3 came out it was still just out of the question to do that many CPU heavy calculations at once. I mean single player on Arma 3 runs flawlessly but once you get a bunch of AI in a map it's just game over.
I heard rumors that they were making a new engine that will eventually host Arma 4.
In real life the police are most likely corrupt in almost any setting where the cartel is present so icing that cop isnt a bad thing.
I love the fact that you can not automatically know where you are on the map, and you constantly need to use references around your surroundings that are relative to the map! That adds a whole new other level man!!! I want more of that kind of additional level of realism which makes the gameplay even more challenging and brings out a lot of creativity!!!!
Damn, this was an absolute blast to watch, I can't wait to see more of these. It'd be really amazing if the SWCC crew were also players. All in all great op as usual, even if it did go south. Kinda sad to see the friendly KIA being left behind but then again it is Arma so idk if you're even able to move dead bodies.

Great work Karma and company. Really, stunning footage. I surely hope the devs at Bohemia Interactive is looking at this shit and taking note of an impressive, PROFESSIONAL community developing here. I'm sure for the folks who developed the original Operation Flashpoint into Arma 1 etc...wanted this level of immersion, realism and tactical gameplay. Well...here it is. I hope Bohemia continues to service what the players and hardcore milsimers want because, frankly, this is what Arma 3 players and beyond want. At the end of the day, Arma will survive because of the COMMUNITY. I hope Bohemia puts the community at the very top of their priorities and continues to make all the right moves to continue to build, expand and satisfy them.

You should've had the Aircraft circle back and do a low run dumb drop on the opposite side of your actual infil location just to possibly have the enemy flood that area with men searching for NOTHING
No point, the enemy had no eyes or ears on the plane because of the dark and altitude..
It's not like a helicopter insert where the enemy is likely to see and hear it

I like how they start ww3 and besides a few random people running around, some cops here and there the place is a ghost town. I especially enjoyed the HVT decided to run down a brightly lit path with shots and explosions going off everywhere. This game is really archaic sadly.

Good movement. Everyone has to know their role. The enemy who came from the back and shot one of yall made it to half the length of the build before he was dropped. That should never happen but good flow.

Man I would love to see a game that was a mixture of ARMA's pacing, scope, and teamwork and Tarkov's gunplay, player control, and customization with the premise that you're a part of a mercenary corps. That would make the customization of gear make sense, since mercenaries often get to choose their own gear. Maybe have it set in a near-future where almost all foot soldiers are mercs. Then have something similar to Hunt: Showdown's Hunter selection where you can buy a merc with some background perks and as they survive missions can unlock other perks. Having a 30 v 30 or something would be sweet too. Just a thought that's been bouncing around my head today and this reminded me of it.
