    Hi Buddy,
    thanks so much for the tutorial. And just as a suggestion as you're working on content - what would have been tremendously helpful is, after we see you demonstrate the gimbal movements, you show us the footage that you shot. That way, we can see how you handled the gimbal AND we see how the footage turned out.
    Thanks for taking the time to make this video!
    Cheers, mate!

    • @GT3Chef
      @GT3Chef 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@BrotherBrown just planning on making videos of local car meets/rallies for this upcoming year. I think I have the wrong camera for the weebill S though. I have a Nikon d3500... I read where it was compatible because of its lightweight and then I read another place where it wasn't compatible. However, it supports the weight of the camera very well. I just need to buy a different USB and try it out, the one USB to type C (I think) is a tight fit for my camera, which causes a loss of connection (sometimes), so I think once I find the perfect USB fitment for it. I will get rid of that of that issue, besides that I enjoy it. Debating getting the image transmitter for it but I haven't progressed to that step yet. Really don't want to spend loads on a new camera but I want to make sure I have the equipment to have an effective setup for filming on the weebill.

    • @BrotherBrown
      @BrotherBrown  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@GT3Chef I haven't gotten the transmission either. It would be cool to have but I'm I'm in the same boat as you. I dont want to spend the extra money for it yet. Hope the new cable works and that your videos at your car meets turn out, I'm sure they will 👊

    • @BrotherBrown
      @BrotherBrown  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hey Sarah great question, I had the same thought last week actually. I was filming a wedding video and I kept taking the camera off so I could take so close up shots at 105mm. After a few shots I tried zooming in with the camera on the gimbal. The weebill S kept the camera smooth. So for the ceremony I kept zooming in and out to get different shots. I was using a 24-105 lens and I balanced it at 50mm. From what I could tell the shots stayed smooth. Only thing was my gimbals battery took a bit of a hit because the motors had to keep the camera smooth. Thanks for asking!

      Hey Kostas! For my setup there is a switch at the side of my gimbal that you can switch down to go into locked mode. I would like to have the trigger as a lock though as that would make a smother transition. Maybe you can change the settings to that, I'd have to look into it though. Thanks for asking, I'll let you know if I can change it in the settings.

    Hi Matthew,
    Great content and amazing info.
    I recently bought the basic Weebill S gimbal. I am now trying to figure out what would be the best way to use it at an elevated position (20') to record my daughter's soccer games.
    I have a DSLR and Canon Vixia HF800. Which camera do you suggest I use?
    Also, will I need to use a Transmount Wireless Image Transmission Transmitter?
    Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated. Thank you

    • @BrotherBrown
      @BrotherBrown  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Hector, first off using the gimbal with the transmission to film Soccer games is a great way to use the gimbal. I did not buy the transmitter when I bought my gimbal so I can not say much about how that would work. Are you planning on putting the gimbal high up where you can not touch the gimbal or are you sitting 20 feet up from the pitch?

    • @hectoralfaro8216
      @hectoralfaro8216 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BrotherBrown Thank you for your prompt reply. Yes, the gimbal will be elevated at 15' - 20', and I will be ground level. Which is why I think I need the Transmitter.

    • @BrotherBrown
      @BrotherBrown  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@hectoralfaro8216 if you are going to have the gimbal that high then you'd need the transmitter. I think it would serve its purpose for what you need. Only two issue is see you having is losing connection at some point during the game and battery life with the transmitter. I can't guarantee based in your situation but I think you could be satisfied with the gimbal and transmitter 👌

    • @BrotherBrown
      @BrotherBrown  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@hectoralfaro8216 I'm not to sure.. What type of recording do you want to do? Id look at your record limits on each device and then decide how much you want to zoom into the field. I wouldn't want to zoom in a lot since you'll get so confused with your surroundings with using the transmission. I'd probably go with the t7. The cam corder would probably be better to hand hold/use with a triood that has a fluid head for close up shots.
