@@jessyavila5317 Yes, I'm in a process of making it, the game was finished, started to write the text, but then Psychonauts 2 were released and I started to work on it. But The Suffering 2 is coming soon
this is without a doubt the creepiest horror game, imagine being stuck on an island in the middle of nowhere with monsters based on the deaths of people who died a long time ago. the environment is what disturbed me the most, especially with these random sounds during gameplay.
Agree, concept is great. Moreover, not all people want to work together, and some of them are hostile, so most of creatures around are enemies, and just atmosphere of the prison and the asylum is giving me shivers too
I like to think Hermes and Horace are essentially reflections on murderers in general and the 2 sides that they typically come as in prison. Horace represents the guilt many feel when they realize the consequences of their actions and are constantly begging to make the suffering of that remorse go away. Horace constantly endures the pain of the electric chair as a way to constantly feel the punishment and guilt of killing his wife. Hermes represents the pleasure that many killers and even executioners begin to feel from the act of being able to kill, to believe to have the power to determine life and death at their very will becomes intoxicating to them. Hermes considered his executions his art, taking immense pride in his work and going as far as to call it the Final Solution
@@DescryGames haha deal!😂 I’ve finished a half of the video already, trying to work on sounds there, and have too many jokes that not always work or appear throughout editing.
This is one my first horror games the other being Re4 on my ps2. This game and Re4 gave me nightmares but were so fun. I wish this game got a remastered in current tech.
It was the same for me! I remember how my hands were shacking from The Suffering and I couldn’t wait to play RE4 after school, and then get all costumes after every difficulty… Those sweet times. I’ve heard they are going to release remake of RE4 in 2023
Funny summary and editing 😂 have my like. Just finished playing Ties That Bind, which was a game I never finished (due to reasons) during the ps2 days. Figured that might as well watch a summary of the 1st one so I can know the full story. So thanks 🙂
Fun fact: The CO at 2:30 is voiced by TF2's Sniper or HL2's male civilians while the inmate at 19:55 , Jimmy, is L4D's Louis. Also love your edits, makes the review of a depressing game a bit more funnier and enjoyable.
This is one of my all time favorite games, it's fun to see it again here with some levity brought to the somewhat ridiculous plot line Also I love the usage of the Little Nightmares soundtrack

So there's literally no explanation for why supernatural monsters are suddenly invading a specific prison you happen to be in the day before you die, huh?
In the second game there is a little piece that the grounds cannot hold the filth and all the sins committed on the ground, come from inside the Earth like an eruption

Wow! I've haven't seen it this way, it's a great theory though.
Real talk. Hermes' voice acting is beyond top notch
Apparently, it's the same guy who voiced the Sniper in Team Fortress 2's "Meet The..." videos, and Kinsler from Halo 3 ODST's audio logs.
I love this game so much brings back so many memories just recently bought it and am having so much fun playing it again great video
Thanks! Have fun
You have ps2? Or you’re using pc?
Torque's VA is still the best thing about this game
haha yeah
