The houses of Hogwarts _do not_ correlate to those of Ilvermorny
To reiterate: there ARE similarities, but Gryffindor does not equal Wampus 100% or any other Ilvermorny House. All combinations of Hogwarts house and Ilvermorny house exist :)
Yea they are sort of similar considering that ilvermorny was inspired by hogwarts.

Well you need to take what she is saying with a grain of salt. I hope she wasn't sorted into Raven claw because she is not very smart, as she is reading the pie charts wrong. I am a Gryffindor and I was sorted into Pukwigdie which if you look at the pie chart I had a 36.3% chance of being sorted into or the thunderbird with the other 2 houses being less than half.

Im a thunderbird and a Slytherin.. So I really wanted to know what house I was in being a huge potterhead i wanted to know so i took the test on pottermore and it said i was a slytherin. Just to make sure I took 11 other quizzes 2 said i was a ravenclaw the other 9 said i was a slytherin so... Im a proud slytherin :)

I've had similar experiences. My first 5 tests were 3 Slytherin and 2 Gryffindor. After taking 5 more I've had 3 more Slytherin and 2 Hufflepuff.

5:Cedric Diggory Hufflepuff house’s Quidditch team captain and Seeker And also in his 6th year he became one of the Triwizard Champions. He was Good, kind, brave, and a credit to his house.
6: Nymphadora Tonks born with the ability to control her appearance at will, without the aid of a wand. Funny, slightly clumsy but as bright as her ever-changing
hair colour, also a member of the Order of the Phoenix.
7: House ghost: The Fat Friar Hufflepuff house’s ghost is an amiable fellow known as the Fat Friar. was executed by senior churchment for curing some peasants of the pox

Got my info from pottermore Hufflepuffs have the lest amout of bad wiches and wizzored and if you mess with are frineds and family it wont be food for you dont doubble cross a huffle puff jjust becuse wedotn golt about what we did and who was in our house

To me it mirrors Muggle society. Hufflepuffs are like the workforce: they are society's unsung heroes. Nothing would get done if it wasn't for their hard work and dedication, but their bosses will be the ones to go down in history and get all the credit. They are nice guys and because of this they tend to finish last. Is there anything wrong with finishing last? No, but can't expect any accolades for it.

I'm those two houses as well! I love being a Hufflepuff (and this was even before Fantastic Beasts) and from what I've heard from other places Pukwudgie is semi-equivalent to Hufflepuff so it fits :)

I'm not a Hufflepuff and I got offended when she said that Hufflepuffs are known for being nice. NO, they're known for being loyal. There's a difference.
Loyal, dedicated, and hardworking... I would go a step further and say that these traits would make them doormats. Most people I know that are unconditionally loyal, dedicated, and hardworking tend to be the backbone of the companies they work yet they hardly ever get the recognition they deserve or the pay. Sometimes they are even laid off before the shinier Gryffindor or Slytherin types. I'll admit they're not always nice usually they're pretty resentful that their hard work doesn't always pay off the way they hoped and that a lot of lazier people have more than what they do. Even in the books it said that Hufflepuffs get frustrated that their house is hardly ever recognized for anything.

I found it very fascinating. I’m Ravenclaw at Hogwarts but at Illvermornie I’m Puckwudgie (their version of Hufflepuff?). I have two profiles on pottermore (one for myself, Ronny Borrelli and one for my second Facebook profile that is a little less family oriented, Robbie Caruso) and when I tested on that profile things were reversed. Robbie is Hufflepuff at Hogwarts and Horned Serpent at Illvermornie)

Your Hogwarts house tends to represent your mannerisms while Ilvermorny represents what part of yourself you are most in tune with in my opinion.
Ravenclaw is for the studious and booksmarts.
Hufflepuff is for the compassionate and caring.
Slytherin are for the cunning, sometimes tricky and sly.
Gryffindor is for the outgoing people who are willing to stand up.
Horned Serpent is for those who are most in tune with their mind and thought.
Pukwudgie is for those who are most in tune with their heart and try to help others and seek deeper meanings.
Thunderbird is for those who are most in tune with their soul, what they desire and seeking for such.
Wampus is for those who are most in tune with their body, whether that be physicality, athleticism, or just being in sync with your body.
This is just my opinion again! I've thought about it a lot! ^-^ Oh and I'm a Ravenclaw/Pukwudgie.

***** Yeah.. Same thing happened to me, so I deleted my account and made it again - because I will always be Hufflepuff. But if you feel that your house is still Hufflepuff, you can delete the one you have and make it again (with the same email) and take it again, until you get Hufflepuff. :)
