Pacific Coast Highway Roadtrip; Seattle to San Diego in 10 Days

- This Trip is TOP SHELF! Probably one of the best vacations we have ever experienced. The diversity of the scenery in God’s creation was unbelievable. It was rainforest to desert, rocky coast to sandy beaches and everything in between. We flew into Sea-Tac airport and rented a car. From there, our adventure began. Over the next 10 days, we went all the way south to San Diego. We camped at tent sites half the time, and the other half we stayed in hotels in the larger cities. This is a quick glimpse of the beauty we captured to share with you.

We are planning our 1 year wedding anniversary for the PCH. It's gonna be 2nd week of January. Any concerns of state parks closed, snow, wildfire season?? We know it's gonna be fall like weather avg 50s in the day and 30s in the evening.
I would say the best option is to check the parks web site for any closures. Unfortunately I feel fire danger could always be a problem. Lastly, I’m not sure on the weather as we live in Missouri. Thanks for watching, God bless!

Did you run into any issues with mileage from the rental agency for taking a car that many miles? My fiancé and I want to do this for our honeymoon!
No, we had unlimited mileage with the rental car. Have a great trip and congratulations!
We rented a car in Seattle, then had our return flight home from San Diego.
How long was your biggest drive?
It seems like driving from Standish-Hickey SRA to San Francisco was a longer day. This was only because of the poor visibility due to the fog making the drive stressful.
Do you think 8 days is enough?
Not at all. That’s all we had though.
