Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on TH-cam, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on TH-cam. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on TH-cam, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.

'We Gotta Get You a Woman' is another Todd Rundgren song that is a must-listen-to song, along with 'I Saw The Light.' He's a fantastic talent, lyricist, and producer.
Two record album. Todd did all voices and instruments on the first 3 sides. Side 4 - including “Hello It’s Me” recorded live with all instruments and voices. Brilliant writer and producer (think Meatloaf)
One of my all time great favorite albums! Todd was awesome and a major part of my youth!
Man, you pick really cool songs to react to! Todd is super diverse! Try checking out a different side of him with his band Utopia. "The Death of Rock & Roll" is a total rocker and Todd rips on the guitar! Also, "The Icon" Is a prog-rock masterpiece.

Sweet... Happy to see you get to Todd!! fun reactions to both so far..... Todd's catalog is vast...and as folks have already mentioned...he was equally key as a producer of numerous popular recordings..... RE: Meatloaf's Bat Out Of Hell album... which is perennially recognized as a standout in rock history. And he didn't just help with this album...it wouldn't have happened without Todd taking on the project... he plays guitar and likely other instruments on the album and can best be heard in "Paradise By The Dashboard Light" as the baseball announcer.....just FYI..
"A Wizard A True Star" should be listened to as the collage it is...most of his other recordings are good to go track by track...AND DUDE!! Todd is a native of Upper Darby PA. That's just outside of Philly, my hometown. You should check Todd out with his first band the Nazz.
Love that you are starting to discover Todd Rundgren. He's such a unique, creative, amazing musician! This whole album, Something/Anything is great and you can't go wrong with any song. Hope you end up going through the whole thing! Some of my favorites are, I Saw the Light, Black Maria, Cold Morning Light.. just to name a few. Hope you continue the journey!

Please check out two video’s that Todd did on the David Sanborn tv show called Night Music. Both performances really showcase his writing, his sense of humor, and his brilliant singing and playing. Parallel Lines and I Can’t Stop Running which was written as a commission for the LA Olympics from 1984. These two songs are readily available on YT and would be right up your alley. Love what you’ve got going on on and keep up the great work!
Remember, Todd is a rock star. Gfs always imagine the worst when they hit the road. Do a live version from Daryl's House with Todd & Daryl Hall. It's amazing. IMO it's better than the original
Glad to see you doing more from this album. Looking forward to seeing you do the songs I Saw The Light and Dust In The Wind, which is his own song and not a cover of a song of the same name by a different band, both from this same album.

Todd has vern one of the most talented artists, producers of all time. He has made so many different styles that he is chameleon like . He had done rock, mellow rock, Glam rock, new wave, and more as well as help Meatloaf on that first Bat Out of Hell album.
I don't think anyone mentioned this below, Todd played all instruments and vocals, engineering, recording and producing on the first three sides of this album. He really knows how to play the studio. Other songs to check out: Baby Let's Swing/The Last Thing You Said/Don't Tie My Hands, Long Flowing Robe, A Long Time, A Long Way to Go, Boat on the Charles, Sweeter Memories, Dust in the Wind, Sometimes I Don't Know What to Feel and the incredible Just One Victory. More Todd please!
Can We Still Be Friends, Hello It's Me and I Saw The Light are three other Rundgren brilliant songs worth checking out.

Todd later put out some fine albums with his band Utopia.
You may like to know that his first band was named, Runt. The second album (1971) Runt: The Ballad of Todd Rundgren has the song, Wailing Wall. I find it hauntingly beautiful.
