I was told by a friend who teaches voice that learning to sing clearly in a Romance language (specifically Italian) will improve my diction in English. I’m not a classical singer but this has been incredibly interesting! It’s been a lot of fun too! Io, che sono nessuno, ho frequentato corsi di dizione in due lingue, dovendo spesso parlare (o cantare) in pubblico. Proprio considerando l´adagio in questione, spesso inorridisco nel sentire su You Tube come vengono pronunciate parole come " bello- rossa- anello, ecc" e mi meraviglio che artisti di successo, anche ben pagati, non sentano il bisogno di ricorrere ai suoi competenti insegnamenti. E' vero! sulla doppia B infatti cerco di spiegare come mantenerla sospesa. Per gli stranieri è davvero complesso restare in "apnea" consonantica (non è un termine tecnico, è una mia licenza, ma che rende bene l'idea...:)
