Thanks Dave for once again explaining bilateral breathing. I am pretty sure that I myself hold my breath too much when breathing to my left and this is definitely an even bigger issue when trying to breathe on every three strokes. I find it quite hard to complete whole lengths when breathing to my off-side.
I was trained as a child in bilateral freestyle. I could never used to one side breathing. Actually, i tried swimming with unilateral breathing for years, my stroke was literally useless.

Aloha David great video 🏊🚴👣
Thank you for your advice. Very helpful.
Is it even necessary to do bi lateral breathing?
Good practice for open-water swimming and sighting - maintaining proper body mechanics. Highly recommend.
