Poor Vadya Chill (14:48). He lived to become a legendary stalker in one of my duty runs and i recruited him to my crew. He had one of those strange seva-exo tings, a drum mag lmg and a dreary reputation. I met him on a supply run to Limansk (preparing for the war against sin). I was attacked by a well armed squad of mercenarys. I do not know what sort of a tank cannon they were carrying but it punched trough my fully upgraded rog with no effort. I had no idea where the shot came from, only that its sound must have alerted the monolith at the bridge as i could hear them coming. I thought i was done for when an lmg opened up on the monolith, cutting them down in mere seconds. Once he was done whit them we teamed up and dealt whit the merks and then whit the rest of the occupants of the red forest. I'm sure Volorin was very proud of us. Then we had to take back the scorcher and i realized what a golden opportunity our battle earlier that day had created. We would pull a Hindenburg maneuver on them trough the red forest at night. I swear i have never seen that hellhole of a place so peaceful. We did not meet a single stalker or mutant, only the darkness and the anomalys. Needless to say that those poor fools did not expect the direction of our attack. Their forces were defeated before they could enter the bunker. Vadya would stay in my squad until the end of the sin campaign and we parted ways sometime before i started the third story line.
I was thinking that you were going to fit that mission run of Garbage-Cordon-Agroprom-Yantar and get back to Rostok but this video shows well that in Stalker something new comes up to derail your plans almost every time
Every time I see the 1911 being used as a primary I think of the American in WW1 who held a whole tucking trench after expiring his rifle ammo with his 1911 .45, put the soul down too
At 5:20 you can see he's dead- in the down left corner you see his patch is grey now, that means he's done. Are you planning making another guides about gamma? Artifacts guide would be very helpful. cheers
Ahah glad you like it! I'm doing my best to edit one episode a week (and find the time to work on other videos too), it's been a challenge to say the least xd
What are your thoughts and opinions on the limb based health system. I personally think it's really strange to have an overall HP bar and HP bars for each limb. Especially since in a lot of cases healing one will not necessarily heal the other and it's useless to have 99% overall HP and 1% torso HP. Maybe I am thinking about it wrong?
I like it for the most part, it adds a degree or realism to the game and more in-depth use of medical items. I enjoy really thinking through what I'm gonna take with me before a long mission to make sure I can deal with any injury and survive anything. Spend more time grinding / crafting to make sure I have all I need for certain areas etc.. The Head/Torso killing you instantly if it reaches zero makes sense in a logical way, but if you watch my ironman deaths videos, I had so many deaths linked to that for simply not paying attention/remembering it, it feels a little bit punitive (or I just need to get good).
@@CheekiBreekiTv It does have merit in that scenario and it is realistic. I just think it is particularly unintuitive. Especially when there are healing mechanics built into the base game that don't exactly transfer over to a limb system. (Edit: For example I have an artifact that heals my HP but not limbs. Meaning that the artifact itself uses a lot of usefulness if I still need to use the healing items to fix my limbs.) Maybe having the overall HP bar just represent that total combined % of your limbs would be better. That way you have to just worry about your head/torso and not have the confusing scenario of healthy limbs but Low HP or vice versa. But I don't think that would be particularly easy or likely to be implemented.
It's funny I had people telling me the opposite, that it felt very empty. I guess with more in-game days passing by its getting more populated. I Left the GAMMA default settings. Don't remember what it is exactly but its pretty low, 0.25/0.5 something like that.
Resolution has nothing to do with compression, they are two completely different things. Resolution is just about the SIZE of a video or picture, not about it's quality, neither about it's sharpness or crispiness.
@@TheKruxed seems like you have to be a little humbler in your life and show some respect for who spend his time trying to teach something to people who make these common mistakes.

Gamma is more craft focused. Can't buy weapons and armor. Need to find and repair them. Personally, I felt Gamma is more slow paced, but the feeling when getting good gear seems more rewarding. EFP you can simply buy the best gear. The crafting system on Gamma is enforced though, traders sell just the bare minimum, which I personally don't like as much. A middle ground between both mods would be ideal in my opinion.
With EFPv4 they are quite similar, only difference is that in Gamma you cannot buy weapons or suits and that in EFP you have magazines. Everything else is quite the same.
If the stash is empty and you use the "move all" button, it will fill it with whatever is in your inventory even if it goes over the limit. Useful early game to store stuff before you can craft your hideout stahes.
I'm on the road so this was recorded on my laptop. i7 / 3060 / 16GB RAM. I'm playing / recording in 1080p (higher wouldn't be possible, performance is barely ok as it is) and upresing at 4K with max h264 bitrate to help a bit with the YT compression.
man i really wanna watch this right now cause i love your content. but i am playing stalker gamma right now, and its so hard to watch gamma content when your playing cause you jump every 5 fucking seconds to a gun shot in the video rofl.
Is the hardcore aim on? Because the enemies shoot as if they were blind. Edit: They are deaf too, they can't hear your footsteps. 😀Wow, Gamma really sucks big time, compared to Onegriot's old mod pack...
Don't know any other STALKER that calm. I was in panic mode the whole video.
After dying so many time you kinda start to be unfazed by most things, which ironically makes you better at surviving!

started playing gamma and stalker in general again just now... last time was in 2007
J'attendais l'episode 3 avec impatience, let's go!
Its funny how early game is you being john wick.
So lucky getting a Bear detector so early!
very profesional run. good hunt Stalker
IIRC you can buy psi helmet right away which only blocks access to main room in Brain Scorcher. Everywhere else it's free pass.
You only need calibrated psi helm for Miracle Machine. I disabled Scorcher with the uncalibrated one.

Try out Goldsphere: Completion. It's one of the most unique mods and it just got an English translation
Yes it's the next on my list!
have you changed any settings? It seems like i die in like 1-2 hits and everyone takes an entire mag to kill.
you should really try the story mod Spatial Anomaly, the best story mode i played so far in my opinion.
I’m surprised you didn’t try to get Semenov as a companion in Yantar

Hey wow is the Darkwood ost added in the edit or part of the game?
Fantastic choice if the former.
Added by the Gamma mod. Really enjoyed it also, especially the calm morning Darkwood OST when you're in Rostok or other "safe-zones".
Hey bro, what's the difference between professionals stalkers and newbie stalkers???
What's the difference of using a gromimg kit or a swisknife to dissamble armor?
Grooming kit is much cheaper.
What's the difference between Gamma and Escape from Pripyat? I've been really enjoying EfP lately, but Gamma looks cool too.
