Love the close ups of his face when singing, those sorts of shots are very rare and he had such an expressive face. I love how feisty GM was in the show - so much energy, so much smiling, dancing - just perfection. And, how sexy is "Back to Life" - whew! And, holy cow what a version of "No Stopping Us Now" - incredible energy; Andrew was there, I wonder how he felt when he witnessed all this - given...everything.
George was at the top of his game in the early - mid 90s. But at that time he was very mysterious and rarely appeared in the media. I remember when this concert was held, the newspapers ran a small article announcing Wham Reunion due to Andrew's appearance in Rio.
He was blissfully happy during this time because he had told his record company they weren't getting any more out of him - no more marketing, no more promotion, nothing. He later sued them but at this point already, he was feeling his freedom from them.
That was the very last time George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley performed together. It should have happened in Britain. People would have gone crazy. But in Brazil no one seemed to realise the importance of that moment. What about the drummer? I recognised him right away. It's Jonathan Sugarfoot Moffett, known for his work with Michael Jackson and Madonna, among others, simply one of the greatest of all time.

Did they release this on DVD or something?? I don’t understand if all of these concerts exist, why isn’t Sony converting to 4K and releasing it? There’s so many people who would buy these concerts.
The GM Estate is blocking it. George didn’t want those concerts to be released for some reason. Hope they will leak someday or the label will release them anyway. There are even many unreleased tracks for an album that would’ve been released in 1991/92
@@signalfire15 David Austin the friend of George said there are 22 songs from this tour (c2c tour) mastered and mixed. He said maybe they will release them someday. I’ve read it on some forum If you search it online you’ll find the source for more info But it was an info from 2019 and sadly nothing happens till now :(
