My Dad used a dual wheel Maple Leaf truck. It used a big hydraulic cylinder and pump to operate the buckrake. They would have the slings laid out on the barn floor where they would dump the load of hay. A tractor was used to draw off the load into the hay mow. Worked pretty slick.
I always figured it looked like an easier way to put the hay up than the rotobaler grandpa went to, but by that time he had lots of help. Lol Thanks for watchin
