After watching this short I am getting kinda nervious about Jun yuan fate. you know how hoyo is in honkai with beloved teacher types characters

This duel took place 700 years ago from the current HSR year. Jing Liu master of general Jing Yuan, former general of Xianzhou loufu. About Thousand years ago.The Mara-Struck Plague returned and plunged Xianzhou into darkness. Under the leadership of Jing Liu, they managed to survive the outbreak. But the price paid is not cheap, One of them was Jing Liu, because she was on the front lines and killed the most Monsters she was infected with Mara-Struck. Because Jing Liu was too strong. The plague did not succeed in changing her body but managed to take over her mind.The Xianzhou Emperor orders to seal Jing Liu but several hundred years later. Jing Liu managed to escape and massacred everyone there, under the emperor's orders. Jing Yuan and his soldiers were ordered to exterminate Jing Liu's existence. And here's what happened But…is next to Yan Qing?

In the beginning of Xianzhou, They were just a peaceful and peaceful race, but everything changed when they were hit by a common pestilence. The Abudance saw that and took down the sacred tree (the one in the center of Xianzhou) To heal them, but Abudance is an Aeon who sees that all living things are equal even to the smallest atom, so he heals everything in Xianzhou.And there was the Mara-Struck outbreak. The Hunt saw this and decided to save Xianzhou. In gratitude, Xianzhou declares that they are followers of the Aeon of Hunt.And as proof, the emperor sent his seven generals to travel around the universe to hunt down the followers of The Abudance Source : in the game and xianzhou trailer
@@ainarmath8274 I'm confused because there is an emperor that was on their home planet that sent them out initially and I don't think they ever returned to their home planet, so this emperor you speak of is a new emperor they chose on Xianzhou? (Xianzhou is the fleet, not their home planet afaik)
Xianzhou its mean Alliance. This Alliance formed from the union of 7 noble families. As for the name of the home planet I don't know, but judging by the trailer, it's likely that the emperor is on the Xianzhou Space Station. The first spaceship we visited was Luofu led by Jing Yuan.

You should rewatch the launch trailer. Jing Yuan’s master appears twice. It seems like she will appear in the game in some capacity either as a playable character or a boss

Jing Yuan being trained by his master so he could strike her down when she would eventually become Mara struck and him repeating the cycle, not a easy road, thats for sure.
And the animation is so clean! i can't but wonder what else they have in store for us and if we'll see shorts like this for inportant events like in Honkai 3rd.

Why I have a feeling that either Yanqing will carry the burden of Jing Yuan where he had to kill his master, or the fate of Jing Yuan himself where he had to be willing to kill those closest to him.

So many people probably dont know this but Jinglui represents Azure Empira or rather Fu Hua in the Second Erruption Manga, down to the last bit JInglui is the StarRail representation of her. i think Mihoyo has something for Loosing Students or Teachers and the one who kill them are mostly the otherone,.....Kiana and Himeko,Fu Hua and Watersledge and now Jing Yuan and Jinglui

All jokes aside, i wonder will they gonna make an animation retelling like Honkai Impact did, that would be sick to see an anime prespective on say Cocolia's battle or retelling the story of some characters like March or Dan Heng. The future of this game is really exciting
The anime was announced not even a year ago. I'd be surprised if we got an update this soon. Even animes not made by Ufotable take more than a year from start to finish after initially announced, and I'd rather not have Ufotable release a rushed anime.
Genshin already has 3 promo in anime style - one with Inazuma, one with Sumeru and one for Lantern rite
