Yes, there’s a high chance The Trailblazer has something to do with Akivili, especially with how obsessed Nanook is with killing you in the simulation, but they probably aren’t Akivili themselves

This is the number "42".
"42" has been used in various things, especially science fiction, for decades. In this game, one of the dialogue options to one of Herta's questions is "42". In Douglas Adam's "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", a supercomputer by the name of Deep Thought took 7.5 million years to calculate the answer to "the great question of life, the universe and everything". That answer is "42".
The Aeon Nous the Erudition also seems to be one big powerful supercomputer.
And yeah this is basically the Travail trailer from Genshin except it's not in an order. And it's way cooler.

@@NanduRNair It's actually said in the Story of Honkai Star Rail, that the Aeons are fighting each other and that the stronger ones absorb the weaker ones. I'm not sure what exactly it was they absorb, if it was their power or ability or even their domain but I know it was said in the Story. I think Herta explained that.
@@NanduRNair its mentioned that when two Paths of a Aeon collide the less diverse path is absorbed by the broader path. The Order was Absorbed by The Harmony is the specific example they give.

Fun fact, IX the Nihility (the purple blob Aeon) never once blessed anyone to be their follower.
But there's this group of people of called the Doctors of Chaos that are trying to prove to IX that life is not meaningless.
Basically, they are trying to save a literal God from depression
To expand upon this with recent lore, it is apparently possible for someone to be blessed with the Nihility and become their Emanator.
They're called *Self-Annihilators* and they simply have the power of the Nihility, despite it being said that the sleeping and shapeless (IX) has no purpose in blessing others.
This trailer gives off heavy Elden Ring opening cutscene vibes. An epic introduction of powerful beings who may or may not be friendly, and when she yearnfully says "Akivili" it has the same intonation as "rise, ye tarnished"
The Myriad Celestia Trailer isn't actually a timeline/storyline trailer (Qlipoth not following next after Nanook), but rather an Aeon introduction trailer.
All Aeons are referred as they/them or simply are genderless.
The narrator's name is leaked to be Black Swan and she is supposedly an Emanator of Fuli, the Remembrance [The Aeon that looks like a glass sculpture/The Aeon behind the Astral Express]
Yeah I realised that during! Also to clarify the second point, does that mean the text during each introduction isn't referring to the Aeon themselves since it often refers to the subject as "she" in a couple of them?

@@BranOnline it wasnt a leak, fortunately. this female character's title and name was in the video description for the Chinese version of the trailer, but for some reason the english one didnot include this crucial info in the descrption.
she is called Black Swan, The Rememberer (or The Memokeeper).
her affiliation is UNKNOWN. people theorize she's either an eminator of Fuli OR maybe another stelleron hunter like Silver Wolf.

@@So_Viet8032 Yeah, you can say they're like in a different plane of existence in a sense. They are indifferent to humans and do not burden themselves with mortal coils (Except Akivili). If you've played Honkai then they're likely equivalent to the Cacoon of Finality. I think it's safe to say 100% unplayable unfortunately :(
At best, she'll give us a glance like Nanook and Qlipoth so far
the closest we can get as a playable character will probably be a character closely related with an aeon or an aeon inside a mortal vessel
The representation of the paths as the gods of this universe. It's just something incredible. Each of them is so unique that your head just explodes with thoughts. Harmony is the most incredible. I'm constantly getting goosebumps from her triple timbre of voice. The character is a Joy where there are many masks and attributes of clowns. Feeling like it's an image of happiness and fun. Like an endless cosmic carnival. Incredibly incredible! Goosebumps all the time. AND BY THE WAY! The beauty herself that leads the narrative. It seems to me or this is the head of the Hunters for Stellatron. Think about it.
I would say this trailer is more the flamechaser trailer from honkai impact since this trailer doesn't have an order but the teyvet trailer from genshin tell the new areas in order, and honkai only shows characters and same with honkai star rail, but teyvet trailer is more teling the lands that we are going to.

The difference to the Teyvat Interlude trailer is, that this one doesn't has an order. In genshin we know exactly which nation we'll travel next and who's the next Archon we meet, here that isn't the case.
We start with Nanook which actually is the right Aeon but afterwards we see The Hunt who is on the 3rd world.
The Preservation again who we encounter on the 2nd world is strangely at the end.
I also feel like the story in Star Rail is much faster?
In Genshin we only had Mondstadt and a bit of the Liyue Story but here the game is only out for 10 days and we're already on the 3rd world.
HSR's whole shtick is traveling to and experiencing new worlds. I makes sense that MC won't be spending as much time on each world as the Traveler did in each Nation of Teyvat.
@@Hafiere oh yeah it totally does make sense but it still has such a weird feeling to it. There are currently 7 paths and we are already able to unlock 2 of them (I didn't finish the story on the Lofou so idk weither we can unlock the hunt path as well at the moment but it should come soon enough).
It just doesn't feel like a long journey rn and I'm really confused about the pacing in this game.
It may be because of how world is build in the game. In Genshin maps are far more complex and bigger, so to be able to make them they have to slow down the story.

@@dekan9774 I think that 7 worlds in a row with a Stellaron Crisis and a new path for the Trailblazer are a bit much. The Astral Express crew have remarked that Jarillo-VI was a lot for a first Trailblazing Expedition.
I take that to mean that more relaxing destinations are the norm and not the exception.
I think there should be ways to make a world feel impactful without getting a Stellaron Involved.

In all of Aeon. The Aeon that i want to know the story is Akivili.
Akivili is the first Aeon that can left the universe and go to the another universe. Akivili gone because he left HSR universe only to find the last journey of Trailblazers path, "the unknown destination". Akivili even go to the "root" of imaginary tree.
For the second is the oldest Aeon, Qlipoth. Cause of his path. Qlipoth will protect all living creature in HSR universe. So its mean, Qlipoth will fight again Nanook.
Cause since nanook born, qlipoth Know that there will be a war that will destroy everything. So qlipoth Traveling around the universe just to protect the planet that has life in it from the threat of Nanook.
Ngl, theres alot of lore in HSR. And all of them is really fkng cool...i cant wait for the next update.
Fun fact qlipoth being the oldest is a lie created by his followers. This is true because leviathans existed before the aeons and the aeon of voracity is a leviathan.

The Hunts comment is so interesting to me, seems VERY similar to The Hunt as a horror entity from the magnus archives

@@redxd7108 oh yeah absolutely but when it comes to these things I think it helps to see them in a more like- kinda cultish way? It connects with the world and its people. The act of hunt goes from survival, to anger to the experience of hunting itself. Enjoying the chase and what it brings, not wanting it to end. I just think its interesting that every aeon isn't purely good, the things they want and influence and are born from both lead to bad and good things.

Fun Fact Herta actually wonders why Nanook is even born, even though Finality already exists.
My take is destruction is the state of ruins/the process of ruination and Finality is the final state of said thing.
In Honkai Impact there's one sentence "Finality is the beginning".

It's very likely that "The Finality" is the same Finality as in Honkai Impact 3rd. The Aeon of Finality, Terminus, has the control over time and so the Herrscher of Finality does in Honkai Impact 3rd. also they showing the word "Samsara" in context with the Finality. It's a concept from HI3 when the world was reseted multiple times after 50.000 years and was stuck in a Samsara caused by the power of finality. So we can assume the Herrscher of Finality is an Emanator of Terminus.
Just in case - "Finality" here is written in DIFFERENT hierogliphs than in HI3, someone said, so there is HARDLY a connection with HoFi (Kiana). And about the fact that HoFi Kiana is HARDLY connected with "Finality" from HSR. That is, they are NOT the same person (as some probably want to believe). Simply put, there are probably some parallels between the two games in this regard, but NOT a DIRECT connection. Although, of course, the opposite is also possible, given that all Hoyoverse games are interconnected).

wouldnt it also be hard to put HI3 and Star Rail in the same universe? Especially cus we would have multiple ppl with the same name and appearance? I get them putting Genshin and HI3 in the same universe as there is no overlapping of characters.

@@YvaiatheDemon Welt from HI3 is the same Welt from HSR who traveled through a space portal with the humanoid AI named Void Archives. HSR and HI3 are connected by this characters.
It is not the same universe but confirmend to be a parallel universe based of the Alien Space manga from HI3.
Nah, we might not know much about HSR Finality but nothing implies they actively mess with time in HI fashion with the intention of making humanity achieve what it wants
I only just noticed that the glass star lanterns (at the end of the trailer, surrounding that pretty white-haired woman) might be where the Trailblazer's ascension materials come from! They're shattered pieces of those lanterns, I think.

Headcanon that Yaoshi is a billion-year-old Nahida. "She feels sad, for eternal life did not let her accumulate infinite wisdom. Instead, those she had once cherished faded into obscurity over time, never to return." As the last branch of the last Irminsul tree, Nahida is the sole remnant of the life that called a now-gray planet home. As an archon, her roots spanned a world. As an aeon, her roots span a universe. She has grown. Teyvat was her cradle, her time as a child all but forgotten, as one forgets infancy in adulthood. She has lost more than her mother, her First Sage, and her people. She has lost herself, to the Path of Abundance.
The difference between them is that Nahida dosen't generate monstrous creatures in the form of gifts and Nahida's main powers is related to dream rather than life itself, she is more of a follower to Fuli rather than Yaoshi

Notice how it says (trailblazer) when mentioning Akivili. Makes me think hes either the reincarnation of him (if yk yk), or hes the one who killed him.
Also the woman, I suspect she is Xipe, I mean think about it, every other aeon had a normal narration, but Xipe? it was as if dozens were speaking at once.
Spoilers for the final quest here, be warned.
Trailblazer being Akivilis reincarnation can only be true if he has permanently lost most, if not all of his powers. Remember what Kafka says in the interrogation? That the battle with Nanook will reach aeonic proportions, but she also goes on to say that he wont reach that level. So either Elio is wrong (get fucked mate) or mc is an unpredictable variable, even in elios script.
Xipe is not one singular Aeon tho. Its a plural Aeon from different civilisations (Thats why it had multiple voices). Ppl think shes an Ementator for Fuli

I don't think the mc is a reincarnation of Akivilli. In the trailer, Black Swan says "Akivilli (Trailblazer) departs once more".
Trailblazer is just a title, MC is one of them, as well as every Nameless (March, Dan heng, Welt, Himeko and even PomPom i'd say)
Black swan probably talked about Akivilli departing once more because Welt and Himeko are re-opening the star rail like Akivilli once did

She is known as Black Swan. On the CN version of the trailer on bilibili, she is labelled as 忆者 and 黑天鹅.
忆者 means “memory person” so we can presume she serves Fuli of the Remembrance.
黑天鹅 means Black Swan, so this is her name (the names of the VA are listed after so its basically confirmed)
really ominous that "the finality" is hidden away in a corner of the trailer. especially when the other honkai game just dealt with the cocoon of finality/herrscher of finality storyline.

I believe Yaoshi is supposed to be slightly unsettling, because she has quite a lot of parallels with Mother Nature. The devs specifically made her just that little bit scary, not enough to be threatening but just enough to be unsettling, to mirror how nature can be both beautiful and dangerous.

While the existence of Aeons in genshin doesn’t really work because of how Paths affect humans, it is possible that Lumine and Aether are something similar.
@@elainasynranelt remember aether and lumine say that they travel worlds. That's why I thought they might be the 1st trailblazers to ever exist. Given that at that time trailblazing wasn't a term yet. Also aeons are galactic beings not any planetory beings so them not having any relevance to teyvat is possible. But imo celestia being an aeon is also a possibility. In which case it's in the process of turning into an aeon as it doesn't really affect anyone directly except acknowledging them of their desires by giving them visions and destroying civilizations that do not obey them. Maybe some eons later aether and lumine qualified to become aeons and turned into akivili
@@Alvis183 You misunderstand me. When a person follows the path of an Aeon they gain special abilities. This is referred to as the “gifts” of that path. (“Paths: Those who follow the Paths of the Aeons closely may gain that path’s Gifts”) There are characters with powers from other sources, like march and Stelle/Caelus but by in large their abilities come from the Paths. If Aeons existed in genshin, there would undeniably be at least one person who met that criteria, and since there aren’t, we can surmise that there aren’t Aeons in genshin. Besides, you said it yourself, Aeons are galactic beings. It’s unreasonable that The Trailblaze would lose against a worldly god, and plus, you completely misunderstand how Aeon paths work.
Even if there *were* Aeons in genshin, they wouldn’t be the same paths as in star rail. There are _tens of thousands_ of Paths, all nuanced and different. The chances of two different universes having the same paths is literally 1 in ten thousand.
And even if, say, they did happen to be Aeons, Only one would be alive. A Path can only have one Aeon, and similar paths absorb each other (Like how Xipe the Harmony absorbed Ena the Order) meaning that even if they were two different Aeons with similar paths, one of them would absorb the other’s path automatically, killing them instantly. So either Aether or Lumine would be dead.
We’ve seen the feats of power Stellaron can pull off. Stellaron are tiny fragments of The Destruction’s power. Aether and Lumine are simply too weak to be Aeons.
It’s an interesting theory, but it really breaks down in practice.
