Niskayuna New York is a suburb of with a population of 21,781 at the 2010 census. Niskayuna is in Schenectady County and is one of the best places to live in New York. Living in Niskayuna offers residents a sparse suburban feel and most residents own their homes. In Niskayuna there are a lot of coffee shops and parks. Niskayuna Central School District is a top rated, public school district.

Nice scenic drive
Beautiful drive! Makes me kinda homesick to see the colorful fall leaves. Here in SC we have mostly scrub pines and palmetto palms, so not much color. Today is about 80 out and it feels like summer.
For a beautiful drive, go to Putnam Road in Rotterdam, go up into the hills on Putnam Rd. until it comes to an end, and then turn right down Mariaville Road, and go on Mariaville Rd. until it crosses Putnam Rd. I lived for much of my life in the house with the last driveway on the right before the intersection of Putnam and Mariaville Rd. The house sits a bit back from the road. so many memories!

Lived the Schenectady life for 22 years in the upper Union neighborhood, the white fence on the left at 15:15 belonged to Mia Farrow’s mother at one time. I helped design the kitchen for a renovation in the 2010 time frame, vey nice house. We left for the desert southwest 5 years ago, can’t say that I miss the winters but sure do miss my friends and colleagues.

For many years I’ve fought this and worst to finally be close to it and leave it .. Lived in Florida and cheyene Wyoming , Kentucky and in Albany New York .. I’ve been living in the island for too damn long and I’m fed up with the People , the culture and also the nasty Violent atmosphere .. I’m praying to the almighty God to find a place like this again .. I cry these moment as Hispanic male of 50 that doesn’t feel the life of the Caribbean nor the Culture … Wish to be home again .

I so much like little cities in USA , particulary in state of NY, and New England, Nova Scotia especially in this period of the year, the colors are magnificent. Drive around upstate NY while listening to Charlie Parker's "Autumn in NY". I'm from there originally and Autumn is definitely my fave season in NY, but when that bitter cold and snow arrive, it's time to GTFO of there! haha
