Welcome back to another one! In this Average Joes video, Lyle travels to a tiny stream, geared up with his fly rod, in hopes of catching some natural brook trout.
In the begginning of the video Lyle strickly fishing with a dry fly and has lots of success. Later in the day adding a dropper to get those less aggressive trout. Finishing the day with a CATCH & COOK!

I recommend you go back there with a 3wt or less; and have a hay day! Too much fun with a smaller rod!

Yeah buddy! Basically just have the one main rod and one from cabelas the same weight. To fun in those small creeks!
45 years ago every creek in the Madawaska Valley had specks in them, some of them were a little jump across. Our summers are way too hot now

Yea sad to see the decline, lots of factors I think but I hear it from dad all the time about where there used to be trout
