A starter motor system for the Megola's, would be a hub motor in the rear wheel, offset, combined with a much upgraded larger friction surface disk brake, from the same period. The motor gets you rolling, which gets the mag making a current, allowing you to fire up the engine. Just push and hold a momentary button located next to the throttle control, til you get rolling, then release the button, once the engine fires up. It can all be done using existing 1921-25 technology. 😎
Grazie a questo video ho capito la differenza tra questi due tipi di motore tanto simili nell' estetica quanto diversi nel funzionamento. Cordiali saluti Manuel.

Realey a great Video. I think the first one was an Oberursl Umlaufmotor, witch one was in the Fokker Dr1 installed. The red Plain from Manfred von Richthofen.
I'm sure I could sell that cycle to a collector or two I know of. The current state of the world makes it a logistics nightmare to purchase it from overseas, arrange shipping to the United States, get it through customs and then transport it across country to get it home. And if I ended up selling it would require another long distance move.
Your twin row 10 cyl radial engine is just stellar, as is your implementation into that Jawa chassis!

Excellent video, I didn’t know, I love learning and seeing things I’ve never seen before. I can’t thank you enough for these video’s.

Those old bikes with radial engines look and sound cool
The 9 cylinders sound better than a V8...for that matter all of them
