That Multi is a bloody Panigale on stilts- but the KTM really held up well. But the most impressive was the BMW for the traction and smooth climb through the transmission.

Good test just for science! 😁Power it's all about KTM V2 vs DUCATI V4. At the end, V4 edges acceleration by a nose. In roll-ons,V2 outperforms the V4 by a lot!! I would say, in the real world, the V2 will have the edge. But please replace the Mitas by decent tyres. NICE VIDEO CHRIS AND CHAD!

I rode all bikes except the Harley. I've owned a GS1200 and now own a GS 1250 after having had an LC8 1190 Adventure S for five years. The LC8 is definately the more exciting engine. The V4 is very efficient, but lacks soul to me, it's the least exciting of all to me. I'm impressed by how well the GS 1250 held up to the 1290, which really feels like a rocket ship and feels much faster to me

Exactly, and clearly knowing how to control a bike much better from the start. The taller guy spinning all around was just hurting the image of the bikes he rode. Or just keep them all with traction control on to take most of the rider's influence out of the equation and this way we'd have any sort of information. The only valid and worth taking into account are the rolling races where they didn't have to launch properly and fight for traction. I'm also stunned by why this video exists and what's the purpose of it...

I've been a motorcycle drag racer since 1973. I have a 2021 1290 Super Adventure in my garage parked next to my turbo Hayabusa drag bike. One of the big reasons I got the SA is because of it's power.
The bottom line is that the KTM is a crap drag bike. With the high center of gravity it wheelies in third gear and wheelies are one of the biggest limiters to a good quarter mile time. Being on a wet track only makes things worse because now traction is severely compromised.
I actually put a taller 40t rear sprocket on mine to cut back on the wheelies and make it a better cruiser at freeway speeds. It's an improvement. The 38t from the Beast would be better but that would be breaking the chain, which I didn't want to do.
So this comparison is fun but kinda meaningless. A better comparison would be a series of high gear rollons, starting at different speeds.

My '23 Rallye GS is every bit as fast as i need. A 30 litre tank gets me a useful distance..... i dont need anything more. Its the perfect bike. EDIT: I had a KTM 1290S, it failed so often i had to get rid of it, up to the GS. I loved that bike. It just didnt work.

I suspect that the PanAm was not in the full Power mode.
