Oh, im lauhging at the mustang joke btw. FYI most older 3rd gens have a posi or LSD rear end. It was just the angle. If you do a proper burnout I promise you both tires burn easily.
I personally don't have a Chevy Ford or dodge but I've drove all and had a good run with them lol but overall there all good cars and trucks for the most part
Nothing to argue about. Those 3rd gen camaros got their a$$ kicked by mustangs back then. Then the 4th gen was faster, but looked like crap. These days you would have to give it away. The looks didn't stand the test of time at all.
@YourMammas AssCrack 9000 Talking big with a giant 4 door grandma car. Id bet money you got a base model charger at that. Wouldnt matter anyway. I ride Dallas streets on a CBR 1000 RR. So only talk you'd be doing to me would be 2 zip codes back in that damn boat of yours.
We owned a brand new one except ours was red man that baby would move when it was new I loved that car it was so damn sexy. Ours had something I didn’t see on others the factory wheels where like everybody else’s but they had red accents in the middle all the other ones I seen didn’t have that for some reason. And we bought it new so nobody added them after the factory. I also had a 1996 F body Z/28 now that thing was fast 60mph In first gear and it would hit it like nothing almost so fast you barely had time to grab second before it was bouncing off the rev limiter.
3rd gen Camaros are some of the most underrated under-appreciated best-looking muscle cars to come out of that era. I've always wanted one or a catfish or a C4 or C5. I loved the early 2000s stangs too. Dont get me wrong. The later 2000s camaros and stangs were beatiful and my favorite car in the world is a c6 zr1 followed by a c7 zr1- when i was a very small kid the coolest things in the world to me were third gen camaros and terminator mustangs (i grew up in north cali- c4 and c5 vettes were a rare sight). I currently drive a 2000 vic with 67k miles and a 08 v6 accord sedan with 120k miles. I love both those cars but i can not wait to own either a terminator mustang, a 3rd gen camaro, or a c4-5 or 6 vette. Even of both the 3rd gen camaro and terminator stang wouldnt be faster then my accord is - theres something to owning a piece of art, that sounds like the angels of war- and with a couple grand in mods will make for a wunderful street monster.
The '86's with the "ugly bump" third brake light on the outside of the glass will always be my favorite. I had a '86 IROC, but was forced to sell it for medical bills. Man, I miss that thing. 😕
That sucks man, I'm very sorry u had to sell ur baby, i can imagine how must thst must of hurt. I bought a T top 86 z28 iroc z with a factory installed corvette 350 tpi last year with only 72k on it. And that exterior third eye light is how u can always tell an 86 from any other year!! I love the car so much!! It has been my dream ride since b4 i was 10 years old! No camaro is mor iconic that a iroc z, the look they have is just....perfection! Next week I'm driving down a state to help my best friend pick up his own 86 z28 for him self. As soon as I got mine, he swore he would buy one! What color was urs by the way?
@Andrey Angere Well Andrey, you are obviously a man with excellent taste! LOL. GM really made major leaps in chassis and weight savings over the prior 1 and 2 series of F body cars, with these.
hi, what's the difference between a 1984 camaro sport coupe and a camaro z28. I just bought mine and it's supposed to be a z28 but there are no z28 emblems anywhere, it's all red and has a normal roof, not t top
the only one that could drive in the entire video was the black one that was like 3rd in the video. everyone else nearly lost it, one wheel peeled, or couldnt even spin them
Yessir, I was a gearhead in elementary school even, our principal had an IROC Z/28 that she drove daily, I used to ask her if it was fast and she would just laugh and say "maybe." Funny thing is that she was probably in her mid 60's then and a pretty no-nonsense person.
I will answer my own questions... None and Gen4 Z28 6speed, however I was searching for a Gen3 IROC until my buddy and I made a deal when he purchased a new Vette. 😊
There was only 2 that actually did worth a damn. Nobody wants to see someone get scared of their own car. And damn sure don’t wanna see 1 tire burning down.
I got my old camaro running again about 5 years ago. I've yet to do any bodywork or paint. But christ do I love that old car. Also a member on the 3rd gen site.
I have a teal 91 rs with the high rise z28 wing, I plan on restoring it soon. I got it with 50k miles on it when I was 15..I'm 39 now. This video really motivates me to get on that project.

I now understand why Camaros don't crash... tires need to be spinning to loose control of a car and only a handful actually had the power to spin both tires more than 20 feet 😂
Garry Bailey I mean I saw more tire smoke from these cars then I have from most fords of the same year trying the same. A lot of these cars are probably stock (other then rear ends) with a straight pipe.
Of course they hook and go, that is what happens when you don't have any power. Fords, lol. You also have to keep in mind most of these guys are playing it safe. Just listen to the video, they back off right away.
It's been 20 years since my last f-body but my ex-wife had an '86 IROC-Z that we used to thrash around. I used a lot of parts off a '91 GTA (with SLP Firehawk goodies) to make it a beast. Compared to modern cars it wasn't much but back in the mid-90s a Camaro with 400+hp was the sh*t! Cheers.
That black 3rd gen leaving after that white trans am knows how to pull out...no jerking halts or early upshift come outs or nothing. Perfect display sir 👍🏽
I tore ass just a little bit coming out of there after this vid, but couldn't go crazy because I had my baby in the car. Babies come first! 😉 Good vid!
I'm not going to lie, next to the black 92' at the beginning, I think that completely stock arctic white RS at the end sent it the hardest coming out the lot. I don't think he was expecting that much angle, but he kept it! Lmfao
What the hell guys? What the hell in Russia do only military vehicles make good? American cars are the best in the world! Henry Ford, Carroll Shelby, Henry Leland, Charles Kettering are some of the greatest people who designed cars. Not a single BMW, Audi or Mercedes can fit your wheelbarrows!
Foxbody mustangs power to weight made them fast as hell. Melt the tires off no problem. Irocs were wider and bigger with wider stock tires, but dont overlook those tuned-port small blocks!!
There's an awesome vid with this 83 Firebird sleeper and a 70 Challenger out in the country called Burnouts & Boobs 1996 VHS, if you need to see how to do a 3rd Gen burnout
Can someone tell me what’s going on with my Camaro I have the exact same type only mine is a 91 RS but I took it to a shop and got everything fixed got it to run good a few times on the freeway and then on the last time the power was going in and out and wouldn’t deliver anymore power to move so I took it back to the shop and they didn’t know what was going on, NEED BIG HELP PLEASE
here I am... back again watching this for the 20th time, something keeps bringing me back, Hope you make more videos like this soon, and maybe an spirited drive in your corvette
Notice how none of them wrecked! Take notes mustang owners
Karter Schenck you're absolutely right. In order to wreck both tires must be spinning...lmao one tire fire babyyy
HAhahahhahaaaa
Oh, im lauhging at the mustang joke btw.
FYI most older 3rd gens have a posi or LSD rear end. It was just the angle. If you do a proper burnout I promise you both tires burn easily.
SEPHICHI DREAD left hand turn should've got the posi working its the right turns that are tricky... at least for mustangs lol
Its not the car, its the driver Dumbfuck.
That 4th gen at the end be like, "if I just stay back here and act like them, they won't notice I'm 4th gen!"
Midnight Mechanic 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Cause 4th gen is hanging back to let them have their day in the Sun.... Those cars could fart faster then the third gens...lol
Depends on the 3rd Gen lol
TANKram but man 3rd Gens are sooooo much more sexy
Midnight Mechanic lol just read and laughed at this shit again lol
0:34 Example of American perfection!!!
Shortbus Travels I thought the same thing and also underrated comment
That blk iroc was the best indeed!!!!
@Calm down fake cop 1 they old cars bro😂 They are V8’s and have decent power, they don’t need to have 1,000 horsepower..

yeah what is tgat
@@HeyFlames almost sounds like neighbor haters

damn they're a lot of clean thirdgens in this video.
Just bought me an 84 TA that has been in storage since 2000. No rust, no dents. Bought it for 500 bucks. Can't wait to get her running
got mines for 800 & put 6k in it now i'm debating on flipping it. got a few great offers
Getting a 90 RS for $750, been sitting in a garage for the last 4 years
I got an 86 z28 with t-tops and a 5 speed for 1500 but the clutch don't work so i haven't driven it she sounds mint tho

That white Trans Am at 0:25 i sworn I saw that car at Auto Rama in Houston last year
3rd gens are awesome, but that ws6 is so sick! Even the early 93 4th gens feel just as modern as cars made 15 years later.
That red firebird at the end is beast
This is how every one should leave their driveway, or any driveway all the time. It needs to be in the drivers hand book, and on the drivers test.

Pure awesome! Apart from stock engines (it was the '80s after all) and weird gauges/center console (that's on GM), 3rd gen is where it's at!

Actually most third gens didnt have posi traction rear axles, so only one tire was turning all the time. Eco axles is what I call them.
Most of them had open diffs and also third gens (with a stock motor) only made between 190-215HP on the v8 models
