    It’s always fun to see two different photographers shoot the same location and find different perspective. Felt like I am walking with you guys. Matt gave a podcast vibe too. Lucy always killing it with compositions. Love the vibe!

    It is so nice to see the beautiful architecture without graffiti and people who actually know how to use the cameras. Thank you so much for showcasing them. I have the One Touch/AF2 Nikon and 5 Canon AF35ML cameras and love both models. The fact that you are so obliging to having photos taken of you is very endearing.

    Love this type of photo walk and discussion video. Well shot and edited with great music. It is such a good thing to photograph the mid Century architecture. The housing and resultant building boom means that they may not be around .for much longer.

    Great shots you two! Good to 'see' Matt in person again most of my interactions are all online. Loving the banter between you both, I miss that from in-person photo walks. Also, I'm loving the Australian slang which I have a bit more experience with now that my church's Pastor hails from Cleveland in Queensland. (Will have to arrange to have you both on Classic Camera Revival next year).

    Very cool. I had a similar experience with the torn down building. There's an old drive in near the town where I live that I kept meaning to photograph and one day it was just gone. Interesting ideas that came up in your discussions about photographers shooting the same stuff. I personally find it much harder to find something I want to photograph, especially in film, than it is to master the technical aspects.

    • @LucyLumen
      @LucyLumen  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Edward, oh bummer about the drive in that would have been such an awesome thing to capture!
      Glad you enjoyed the discussions, interesting how you find it more difficult to find things that you want to shoot…I am the opposite in that regard and struggle more with the tech side. I find is fascinating how we are all into the same hobby, photography, but are interested or drawn to different aspects of it. Thanks for watching Edward 😁🙏🏻🎞

    You did very good Lucy. Live is live, that's really fun. Hope for the next one.
    Look for "Live is Live" here and you find a well known song from the Austrian Band OPUS back in the 80s. Who recognizes this song?

    I have the waterproof version of the Nikon but really just to use at the beach. I prefer the look of the canon photos here though. Softer but in a nice way, like a leica vs zeiss kind of way. Will def try grab one for a good price, thanks!

    • @LucyLumen
      @LucyLumen  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you Christina! It was lots of fun and nice to chat and get some sun ☀️ too.
      Noooooo it’s not fixable I don’t think. It’s the flash capacitor I think it has died and it can’t really be replaced so it’s just a shelf piece now, which is a shame cause ironically that one was the best condition one I own the others are all masking taped and have quirks. Point and shoots are funny things hey!?
      Glad you enjoyed Christina ❤️❤️

    QLD has such a nice light! All images are sharp bright contrast and SUPA colourful! Definitely I love too shooting manmade OBJE! I must dust Off EKTAR! F16 all the way! It sounds like Matt is getting there! Me to have around 100 cameras but way too many to shoot! Even have Leica but prefer using cheapest Point & shoot as they make more interesting photos!

    • @LucyLumen
      @LucyLumen  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching lovely 😊 yes QLD has such nice sunshine ☀️ Ektar is so great definitely dust it off and get shooting!
      I’m all about that F16 no bokeh for me! I prefer cheaper P&S cameras too Leica doesn’t interest me much.

    Hmmm the AF35ML seems a great little camera. I was just given one from years in storage, put some batteries in after cleaning it all up and it's alive! Keen to see what it can do - your photos give me hope it can actually make nice pictures... and with decent AF? :_)
