Our first ever Luma Temtem, a Luma Kaku! I was hunting down for a Luma Loali and after about 1000 encounters I was able to get SUPER lucky to find my first ever Luma, Luma Kaku! Lumas are VERY rare in Temtem, with only a 1/6000 chance to appear. This makes them rarer than Shinies in the current games! Talk about an epic reaction!

Our first ever LUMA in Temtem! for those who don't know, Lumas are VERY rare with a 1/6000 chance. This is also an online MMORPG so they have some cool value in showing them off.
Lastly, when breeding a Luma you have a 1/600 chance of a Luma offspring and a 1/60 chance with 2 Lumas breeding...
(They have fertility so can only breed like 7 times, but still very cool)

Shut the game off earlier today in the middle of a battle, opened it up like, 10 minutes later, and found myself still in the middle of the same battle...
It wasn't server downtime, but yeah, lol

@@TheDragonfriday It doesn't always. I encountered double Barnshe, server went down for maintenance and when I got back into the game, I wasn't in battle and lost the Barnshe.

My personal opinion, I'll stick with Pokemon since I was, am, and will always be a Pokemon fan. Now that doesn't imply that I'm gonna trash Temtem cause it's not Pokemon, everyone's entitled to their likes and dislikes. I hope it does flourish to become a great game and give Pokemon some healthy competition.

@@VictoriaaaM It's really good and fixes a lot of shit pokemon introduced, Like all the rng crap, also its online which makes it easier to take part in events. Legendary temtems are dope since they plan on using them the same as pokemmo, which makes them unique.
Litteraly everything about the battles is better, less rng, more tactics. The game is harder. The story is not crap and the city designs are dope. There is no shitty trees. There are no dlc crap. They listen to the community and they tweet about fixes. The temtem designs are cool. Hunting Luma feels much more satisfying. There wont be any cheating idiot who makes breeding useless, since is not a single player game and everything is controlled server side.
Is all pokemon should be after all this years, but is not. Also is on pc and runs on laptops. Which makes the overall cost of this game 30 euros, compare this to sw sd which cost 70 + DLC + switch. And not all the pokemons are there.

Worth noting, you got speed, SPATK, ATK, HP; in Temtem the breeding items are one time use and at least for ATK and SPATK you can pass those as a pair; Caffeinated becomes Air Specialist which makes the evolved form fairly strong with Tornado at 145 base damage (learned at level 36); Arguably the other trait Mithrilidism -> Botanist could be better to increase the damage on it's spread move Allergic Spread but you can basically turn Kaku/Saku into a literal air cannon with Air Specialist

The whole shiny aspect of these games baffles me. I've played every iteration of pokemon (probably 200 hours and more) never seen a shiny. The fact people actually hunt for them boggles my mind

The amount of saltiness about Temtem is so funny. Every genre streamer goes through the same thing, a bunch of whiners that they are taking a break from their main game. You can watch someone else and reality check, not everyone has fun playing one game all day every day.

Just to point out that Luma’s not only being nice to have but actually come with a guaranteed 3 perfect SVs of course this could be achieved with normal Temtem through breeding with items but it makes it nice when Luma’s can help breed those perfect state’s Luma through hard work which gives them a lot more value than shinies from Pokémon in my opinion
I kinda notice how aDrive has a bit of a bratty/diva attitude when interacting with his followers. Bit uncaring for his fanbase IMO.

BUT, temtem have fertility so you can only breed like 7 times with a parent ever
