João Nuno yeah but the joke is he says that with uncertainty in Pokemon a game he is like at least top 50 in and yet he has 100% certainty with only playing for 2 min.
@@dudeadudette5264 yeah I see the joke, it's just that I could see myself on wolfy words at the time so I just wanted to at least explain it was logical (I mean if an attack with half the power chips away half hp if the enemy is quite strange for the attack with twice that strength to not even take half. At least in most games)

Not to be a party popper but pokemon doesn't force you to customize, in fact, you can't even at the start of the game... So what's the point on saying that?
@@ruiribeiro8010 Wolfe promised he would customize his pokemon trainer in sword and shield when he got 150.000 subs (or 100.000 it was so long ago I dont remenber) he has yet to fullfil that promise

I met Wolfey in Dallas this past weekend. Really nice guy in person, and I can confirm he speaks as fast in person as he does in video.

This game def has potential. I wish they had focused more and made it a single player focused game with the MMO elements being secondary/coming at a later to avoid tserver issues, but i'm sure that'll be ironed out in time.
Overall i'd like to see more of this game if you end up liking the battle system, it's a new game that borrows the meta mechanics of pokemon which is honestly way overdue. I'm excited to see where the meta of this game goes!
Yes but they needed to distinguish themselves somewhere and being an MMO definitely helps. But like most new Online games releases, you should always expect the servers to be complete s**t for a couple days.
Fun fact: The Italian word for "academy" is indeed "Accademia".
Please play more of this as it gets patched, it seems like it has a lot of potential and the devs are being very on top of patching things and working on more content.

It wasn't, this game was planned to release during 2020, since mid 2017 on kickstarter. I wanted it, but I knew a pokemon game would release before then, so I didn't bother buying. Looks amazing, has great mmo concept, has original gym format, I just thought the new pokemon game would be better than all that. I'm just mixed deciding whether or not I missed an opportunity.
Definitely not gonna boost it, but I see future potential. I just HIGHLY doubt it will compete with a billion dollar company. Hopefully Gamefreak will step it up tho

most of the server issues are ironed out now and it feels a lot more fluid, would love to see more of this :)

This game is early access, and some fixes were released, I really want to see you playing Temtem when runs better
My favorite bit of every stream by any streamer is when they don't want to bore you by reading the tutorials, saving time to bore and annoy you by not knowing how to play

Hey Wolfe I dont know if this is something you've considered doing, I know its popular in the smash melee scene cuz Armada posts them all the time, but I think doing set analyses of high-caliber matches (like regionals finals) could provide great insight for those of us trying to improve at VGC.
We often get to see what you think during a game, but it would be cool to hear how you look at all the plays in retrospect! Just a thought, love your content as always

Fuck yeah Wolf playing Temtem. Battling also revolves heavily around 2v2, so Wolfey's VGC experience should transfer to this game

No going back to heal when u run out of pp, it refills after every battle.
Just so you know there's no rng in this game; no accuracy / crits etc

The launch day issues were a bit rough, this game is INCREDIBLY fun once that's all sorted out. I would love to see more videos on this!
I downloaded it last night, played for 5 hours no crash. So far like it better than Pokémon, especially first boss villain. A lot harder than Pokémon.
It looks like the light from the game's green grass reflecting off you and your shirt is what's screwing up the green screen

The sword and sheild meta was so broken he started to play tem tem
I think Temtem is a good example of why we can't have full online Pokemon. Just imagine this, but instead of servers, you connected to hundreds of people through all of their Internet connections AT ONCE
What do I know about this game:
#1: It's Pokémon
#2: It's not Pokémon
You should try and play when it doesn’t have a terrible connection

Been playing TemTem since early alpha, love the game, love watching you play it even more.
2:35 was my exact reaction to those eyes HAHAHA I had to go back and rewatch. The fact that we had the same reaction had me dying
To be honest, the Pokemon content is 100% why I'm here. That said, I don't mind occasional videos about other stuff, especially when it's kinda related to Pokemon in one way or another. I'd definitely be interested in a more analytical video on the similarities and differences between Temtem and Pokemon when it comes to things like stats, breeding, training and team building... and battling ofc.
Either way I hope Temtem does well and hasn't lost too much from this rough start. More competition and diversity in the collectible creature and turn-based battling genre (Lol I have no idea how to categorize Pokemon!) is welcome!

Is there any conclusive advantage to making this game an MMO? All I see are other people running around and crowding around the same NPCs. What is there to do together?
Probably hang out in friends house, co-op story, there's gonna be a clan system

Almost every video I see just says "Pokemon replaced!?" or something similar. Reminds me of last year when people thought Hytale would "kill" Minecraft.
I gave up looking at reviews because most of them spent more time comparing than just informing me of the source material. I'm interested in Temtem, I already know what Pokemon is.
Play more as it gets more playable! Game has a lot of potential and seeing a playthrough from you honestly sounds sick
Loved the video man. I’ve seen you play pokemon and stuff before but this one really made you as a tuber pop out more for some reason to me. More Temtem would be awesome for sure!

Stumbled on this kind of on accident but I just want to say I really appreciate you giving the game the benefit of the doubt. It's so easy to take jabs at this kind of stuff and I appreciate that you tried to focus on the fun (or I suppose the potential fun lol). I'm probably that one sub of yours who plays TemTem while watching your pokemon video so it meant a lot haha.
If it's of any interest to you, the game has come a long way since this and runs fine. I haven't been disconnected since that launch window.

The problem with this early access is that up to now the game is literally Pokémon, even things that could be avoided like "you are old enough to become a trainer so go with the Professor to chose from 3 starters" I don't think it would be that hard to change that
Yeah it irks me as well considering that everyone is tired of pokemons story scheme. Let me do something else except running from town collecting 8 badges to challenge the E4. Also fuck IVs why choose to keep them.
Exactly lol! They say it's just inspired but it's like 95% the same game. People keep calling it fresh and unique even though it's difference in features is very slight.

Hahah during the stress testes the game crashed less i guess a lot of people bought day one, also wolfey the "Stripes" on the moves are how many turn must have passed before you can use them, sort of like a cooldown

The one upside of being Australian is that I can play this game while all the Americans are asleep. Makes the experience much smoother

Pretty sure your Green Screen issues are occuring because of the Green Battlefield shing off the screen onto your body causing a green reflection which is picked up by the camera. Also the DC issues are gone now and its pretty stable now

New to your channel. I was up nearly all night trying to get tem tem to run so I can enjoy the game. Once the devs, and bless their hard working souls, have ironed out most of the issues the games runs fantastic and plays great. Please more tem tem.
