I am still using ACDSee, version 2.4 from 1998. Does do everything the way I like it. From the time when programs were one trick ponies instead of a suite of nonsense.
Why can't Microsoft just leave our damn computers alone!? I've started to dabble in Linux Mint and it's not bad. Even had to use the terminal, but the program had the script to copy and paste. Ran it...worked great. Take care all. Cheers from The Colonies 😅
i really want to like and use linux, but i always seem to find a reason to go back to Windows. I probably need to totally lock myself out of windows and force myself to learn how to use linux properly

Linux Mint is point and click. Command line stuff is optional. Use the Debian Editon of Mint not Unbuntu, no point trading in one corporations product for another.
@@mikesunboxing I do not know your use case and how techie you get however, Mint is a great distro and I did used to be on it. But I went MX-Linux (KDE) for various reasons including the INCREDIBLE tools which allow exceptional control of the system and the ability to create install snapshots.
I mention because I suspect you will want to go down deep into Linux. In that case, MX Linux has rather more of your back.
Only a suggestion, mind. "A man's desktop is his castle."

Microsoft is behaving badly
in the 24H2 version, Recall is active, be careful
I will pass some commands to check in CMD
Check If Recall Is ON : Dism /Online /Get-Featureinfo /Featurename:Recall
Disable RECALL: Dism /Online /Disable-Feature /Featurename:Recall
Enable RECALL: Dism /Online /Enable-Feature /Featurename:Recall

Every day Microsoft pushes me towards linux, but it might make casual gaming annoying.
Ever tried using something else than Apple Mail or Safari on a Mac ???

Please help, my computer crashes when I play intensive games like cyberpunk 2077. I have an AMD Ryzen 5 7600X, an MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk Wi-Fi Motherboard, and I stupidly purchased Kingston Fury 5200 MT/s DDR5 non-EXPO version RAM. Should I upgrade my BIOS to fix this or purchase EXPO version RAM? please help 🙏 🙏 🙏
if it is non expo try manually adding all the timings from the RAM into the bios and it might help. Also turn on context restore and enable memory power down

When I'm designing something, I just search in the actual folder. Faster then have to find it in the photo app.
So I never use the app anyway.

TBH I got MS Teams running so my reference of crappy software has a low bar

The best way is to install Linux and stop exposing your family to an evil group of people who have been nothing but evil for decades. Good luck, these videos never end, once this done there will be 10 more tweaks, then 10 more after that. Why don't you just go ahead and run an OS that's actually an OS and not Spyware mmmmk.

@@mikesunboxing I think what is being said - badly, I grant - is that Linux has not got spyware WITHIN THE OS as a feature.
I think that's the point being made. Hardening any OS online these days is really hard.
