@spuddGaming how is this after 1 month? when i was a teen i always wanted the a50s, but i could never afford them. Now I can finally get them if i choose. $500 CAD is steep, but i am still very tempted.

Regarding the astro a50x , do recommend the Bluetooth for mobile gaming like pubg mobile, or do u recommend another headphone

@@emanuelcortez1546 It’s a major upgrade imo. The difference is night and day. Even my SteelSeries Arctic Nova Pro’s with custom EQ’s are collecting dust in the drawer. The A50X’s are the way to go

For music, do you think it goes head to head with the Edifier W950NB? or a KUBA DISCO or AKG K361 or SENNHEISER Hd 559? Does it have a p2 cable to connect directly to the DAC?
Just got these to replace my Audeze Maxwell (because I broke the dongle). Audeze replaced the dongle but I’m still keeping these too lol. Both are phenomenal headsets!
Got them 2 days ago, and they are worth every penny ngl. Game changer 🙌 being connected to pc and ps5 at the same time its crazy

Love the design and having a charging stand is awesome! I just wish you could just use a dongle for USB Wireless and Bluetooth and not require the whole hub

I have this headset and i love it, especially since I use it to switch when playing my ps5, my ONLY issue with it is the white yellows on the mic arm and the plastic that holds onto the ear cups. The cups themselves stay white and look clean. I've thought about putting a sticker or something over the plastic. that turns yellow.
This was a concern of mine so big thank you for your comment. I wanted the white to go with my aesthetic but I guess I'm not against black if it means avoiding that.

Hi can u connectable at multiple bluetooth devices ? For example with phone and tv
but what if you have 2 monitors? one for ps5 and one for pc . if you switch to pc or visaversa you will also lose signal to your monitor... is there a solution for that

I got a set of Astro A50 X headphones and the Mic is not working for me. It works via bluetooth but will not work through the lightspeed connection, does anyone have any suggestions on how I can make it work? I was up for about 4 hours last night trying to research this and trying to install new audio drivers etc but nothing worked for me
the sound also works through the headset
Can anyone tell me if you are required to plus in the HDMI cables to access the multi connection ps5/Xbox? I don't feel like moving all my wires just for that!!
Just picked these up and while I love them they hurt my ears after a few hours. I ordered some wicked cushions to see if it resolves it.
I have 32GQ750-B monitor and have two HMDI 2.1 cords and followed the tutorial on how to set up Astro a50X to the PS5 did all that and I still have a black screen and when I disconnect everything and hook up just the HMDI that came with the PS5 it works
Try updating firmware
I would have to try them on my own head before EVER spending $300+

Ngl I’m starting to hate the dongles on the base. It’s going to wear overtime compared to simple SteelSeries which you can plug in with type c. Major flaw

1. It sounds sooo bad on ps5
2. EQ settings on consoles has to be via the mobile app, which is very limited.
Poooooor headset, I regret buying it
For me it sounds just fine on PS5, and while it may be a little limited having to EQ in the app when using on console, most headsets don’t have any EQ options at all for console use so this is still a win
@SpuddGaming with all the respect, this is not accurate at all. Even the old generations of Astro were allowing the enduser to adjust the settings (using Astro command center) with no limitations, and they can sync that to the headset. Even this is not an option any more.
I was talking more about newer headsets on the market rather than comparing to older ones

I skipped the Game to Chat on PS5 and just went USB only, sounds perfect this way! Shame that Sony won't allow Tempest 3D for Headphones over HDMI though.

Overpriced + this video is just an ad.
Neither of those things are true, you can’t really call something overpriced until you’ve tried it for yourself. And there is a difference between an ad and a paid review. They also have no control over what I say in the video, and the pure fact of the matter is that I now use this headset on a daily basis because I prefer it over any other headset I’ve ever used
And I'm sure if you badmouth their product you won't get anything from them ever again therefore you won't be able to make videos on that product while everyone else is therefore no views for those videos because you won't have those videos because they didn't send you the product and all because you badmouth their product. Yes it's paid advertisement , but in a different way

I jst got them I also had the gen4 and gen3 and they all still work definitely worth the money I used to say I would never spend 300 on a head set I used to get the turtle beaches for like 150 and ended up buying 4 of em in a 4 months span they kept braking
