The Range Rover is perfectly, unambiguously operating his vehicle legally, whereas Cruz is exactly on the opposite side of the law in that respect, entering the part of the lane the SUV is still in - it isn't legal to split the lane with a car, only another bike.

The other riders go on, because Cruz abruptly slowed to a speed faster than the SUV could possibly have stopped. As a rider, you know as well as anyone that a motorcycle slows down WAY faster than any other vehicle can - so you have to put some distance between you and whoever's behind you before braking/slowing. You don't need brakes for a "brake check" - you only need to slow down.

This dude riding has no throttle control, not smooth at all gives it some.. stops.. gives it some stop... just keep it smooth instead of getting jerked back all the time

It is just the young crowd out letting loose in the summer heat . This happens in smaller towns too but on a smaller scale . I did not see very many vintage bikes or mini bikes . Whats up with that .
i do not see the fun of riding sport bikes in a group through times square. Take it to the track and really ride those bikes like they were built for! you could do this on a rascal lol,
