The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 offers a fantastic value. As my review shows, its processor is quite powerful for its inexpensive price class, it's running Android 10, and has a good 10.4-inch display. I also like that we're getting four speakers, a microSD card slot, and the battery life is decent. It does not support the S Pen, however, so keep that in mind.

@@chowjunyi963 Primarily, I don't like the "liquid retina" display. I'm sure Samsung also shares in the second problem but Apple have also made it so thin that the battery life compared to my very old iPad 4 isn't good. Acknowledging that the iPad 4 is literally 3x the weight and probably thickness, it lasts a month or so on standby where the iPad Pro lasts a week. When actually being used, I also feel like the battery life is shorter despite the iPad 4 being old and both were marketed as "10 hours of battery" when it came out. It's mostly the display though. No reviewer seems to have spoken about it but I've had two iPad Pro's and both seems "smudgey" to me, when scrolling the home page for example the icons seems to blurr to 50% extra of their size. When scrolling a website it can often look like the text does the same. Not noticed that when watching videos though, which is an important exception to note. I've tired turning off 120Hz and other turning off other settings and I still notice it. I honestly don't know why nobody else has spoken about it but I personally wish I saved money and got a Tab S6 or S5e at the time. Now the S7+ looks perfect so I definitely want that now but that wasn't out when I got either of the iPad Pro's (the second one was a replacement using insurance because I utterly destroyed it by accident lol).
@@dylreesYT I feel like Android tablets especially Samsung doesn't last very long on standby, my Note 9 takes up 5% in 8h standby compared to none to 1% on most iPhones, and I've seen complains about S7's display colour not balanced, not sure about the S7+ tho
I also really hate Android tablets when in landscape mode, it looks super ugly and all the widgets are messed up, so I hope maybe they can come up with a solution/fix with Android 11
@@chowjunyi963 I also have a Note 9 :D But yeah Android has never been as good for standby battery life. I've only been looking up the S7+ and not the S7 (waste of money compared to the S6 since I'm a gigantic fan of AMOLED/OLED) and I haven't seen any one complain about the display. That being said, you could probably find an app to help with that lol. Like a blue light filter app but more complex and aids in colour correction. I know that the Apple ecosystem is better for iPads but Android has come a long way since it was an undisputed fact. Interestingly, the Instagram app still isn't optimised for iPads despite them easily being able to afford such a goal, iPads having cameras as good as many phones and iPad having a large user base. Snapchat is the same last time I checked. I know they don't look amazing on Android tablets but surely it's better use if space from a practical and an aesthetic stand point that giant black bars and iPhone 4/4S quality app?
If it wasn't for my dislike of the display, I'd probably be happy with my iPad. The battery is a disappointment but it's not like any modern alternative would be much better. I've never seen a messed up widget (considering I'd only use a clock widget I guess that's to be expected) on Android but I may have to look that up. Thanks!

@@satadeepdasgupta2953 I haven't observed any lag as such, normally have 2 or 3 apps running maximum. But considering the ram available I think the device cannot handle heavy multitasking.
I'm considering to buy it during the Amazon sale. I'd use it mainly for youtube and occasional reading of articles and news. Will it be worth it?

This tab is soo awesome I bought it and played games like free fire and mech arena etc with high graphics and it runs so smoothly overall the tab is amazing
I bought it and to be honest, for what these things are mostly used for, its totally adequate. Would've maybe wanted an amoled screen but again, does the job. I think we're witnessing a shift where value is more important than specs and horsepower. Most people don't really need the capability of the hardware they're paying for, especially if they don't play games.
My newly-bought Galaxy Tab A 10.1 is less than a month old and I am glad that it allows some apps to be installed to the SD card!
It's on sale for $150 rn in the USA
32 GB of storage just isn't sufficient Samsung needs to do better in the amount of storage available.

Have never owned an Apple, with the android product seems you will have to be restricting yourself and what you put on the device with only 32GB. Memory doesn't seem to cost much these days and for a few more dollars or euros you could have a much happier customer.
I was first interested in this first then changed my mind and bought S6 lite which has s pen included and a great product
Got that one too. It was on sale for $250 on Amazon and I jumped on it.
And i changed my mind and bought Ipad Air 3 instead. Difficult to trust android in case of tablets. Lags are inevitable with time 😶
Me too and the s6 lite would likely go on sale again from time to time. I don't like the design of this a7, the s6 lite looks and feels much better
S6 lite is a great Tablet I like it. Also good for students
@@nishantgautam7627 You can do so much more on an Android tablet. I've sideloaded lot's of movie apk's on mine and games. Ipads are way too restrictive with limited storage space.

Can it wirelessly screen share to a wireless display or smart TV with audio? Some Teclast tablets (T30) can wirelessly display the video but not the audio.

We were awarded/gifted with this tablet by our hospital just recently. We have the 3GB/32GB/4G LTE model. My questions are:
1. When you make or receive calls without any accessories, do you use the speaker by default and only that? Or is there an earpiece where you should put the tablet to your ear to make the conversation like 7- and 8-inch phablets?
2. With a USB-C to HDMI dongle, can I project the tablet's screen to my TV?
3. Are there user profiles/user accounts where different people can sign-in with his/her own log-in account?

I have the Galaxy Tab A 10.1, 2019 and I wouldn't really call it decent 😅... I needed it to read pdfs mostly, watch some yotube, but it can be too slow for that sometimes as well (using the apps is ok, but switching between them is dreadful). For example if you don't use it for a day, you try to unlock it with the PIN, enter the PIN and while it's unlocking sometimes the screen will turn off again because of how long it takes - very frustrating. Maybe it's because I have the 2GB version

I bought the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 128 gb for $200 dollars, had it for a week and returned it. The same day I went to Best Buy and bought the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 64gb for $200 dollars. For me the A7 is a lot better than the Tab A. It's quicker, the battery last longer, bigger screen, when you have a case on it and you close the case, it puts the tablet to sleep, something the Tab A doesn't do. And the speakers Rock compared to the Tab A! I use it mainly for watching movies and reading. I bought a 256 gb micro sd card for it so I have plenty of room to put movies on.

This is the best value tablet so far from Samsung. Can't wait for Lenovo to announce their pricing for their P11. But like you, I like having a 8 inch tablet like my current Tab A with S-pen.

@@thereshopeforallofus2487 yes bro, big plus point of tablet big screen are multitasking. I can able to open not only you tube but other app aswell in windows just like in PC and can minimize and move it whatever want, also black background theme is there for you tube aswell dark mode for UI.

this tablet costs more expensive than the ipad 7 from last year but ok.
i would prefer the samsung tab a7 2020, bc it has a newer and better SD662, it can infact run fortnite, but on the absolute lowest settings (50% render resolution) at 30fps.
if you’re an artist or you want portable note taking, ill choose the samsung tab a8 with spen from last year
otherwise, i would rather buy an ipad

However I'll still wait for Lenovo's P11 Pro that has quad LBL speakers AND the 3.5" headphone jack. Yes it will be more expensive-but I do want to use my quality in-ear headphones without any adapters when at home.
It has 3.5 mm headjack.

@@rajmahanta5737 I know that mate. The issue is that there is NO headphone jack on either S7 or 7+. And I'd really like to buy a tablet with a high resolution screen, good sound (which means that Alldocube Neo X is out of the equation-it has high static noise both in speakers and in headphones) and a headphone jack.

Got this tablet and it's amazing for the price. But how to move apps to SD card. There is no option.
Please note tablet has one ui core which is stripped down version of one ui.

Thanks! How would you compare the viewing angles on this tablet to those of the Tab A 10.1 and S6 Lite? I just picked the A7 up and have noticed some unevenness in screen brightness when tilting the display. Is that fairly standard on non-AMOLED tablets? Assuming the S5E would be better in this regard but I got the A7 for $169 and I don't know if it would really be worth twice as much money...
Amoled is always better than LCD when its come to viewing angle, deep black, and punchy color

I would like a quick comment if you can spare a minute: here where I live Galaxy TAB A7 2020 and Galaxy TAB S5e are with a very very similar price. I know about the issues of the S5e (jelly effect and wi-fi antennas) but I would like to know your suggestion about which one to get it. I would use mostrly for media consumption (netflix, youtube mainly - no work use). Thank you!

Does the A7 have better display than S6 lite TFT? Someone complained it reflected too much light so I'm unsure about buying S6 because of that but is the 1GB difference of RAM make that better to buy? I mostly want to game and watch Netflix. The pen really doesn't interest me much.

Great question, I am facing same problem.
Some older Samsung devices had that option. We could format SD card as a internal storage.
In developer options, you can "Force allow apps on external" at least on my Note 9. Is that not a thing on latest Tab's? I can tell you how to view developer options if you haven't unhidden them but also a quick Google search can also show you.

@@Rahul330omg Oh interesting. That seems stupid. The person I am considering getting this for won't even need an SD card so it's not a problem for me but sucks you couldn't get a 64GB version if you really needed the extra storage.

Hi! My galaxy tab A 8.0 with S pen is broken and i'm thinking of getting a new one since i just have to pay a bit more than to repair it. Do you recommend that i buy the same Tab A 8.0 with S pen or this Tab A7? I use it mainly for web browsing, pdf reading & annotating, note taking (using the pen), and microsoft office.

Samsung displays are always 👌 good, whether it LCD, TFT, or Amoled. As iam using this tab i have no complaints regarding screen quality. Only draw back is it little wash out when seeing from extreme side angle. But it's tab not tv so fine
Had mine for a while and I really like the screen. Plenty sharp and colours are decent

Yeah Bro, It would result In A Great Package For streaming Videos! Its Complete Package As It offers 4 speakers ( 2 Each Side ) And Stream Hd On every Video Streaming Service! BUT, If You Are going for gaming Than You are totally wrong! This Is Not the One Then! You Would need to Expand your budget a little bit.....GET IPAD 7!
A7 is perfect for 1080p FHD Netflix. Gsmarena.com says the A7 has IPS LCD Screen,not TFT Screen like the S6 Lite. But some reviews think if is TFT so no confirmed answer yet. I have the A7 and viewing angles look very good at high brightness so it looks like IPS to me.

@@purnenduray1130 if Samsung say the A7 has TFT screen,then it is the best TFT screen I have ever seen. 80% brightness and it is very bright in my living room couch. I keep brightness at 50%-60% level and it is just fine. Snapdragon 662 is good enough for games at medium-high settings like CallOfDuty Mobile but the 3gb ram is not good for multi task. I tried TH-cam playing 1080p in background while using several Chrome Tabs and the websites took long time to load because 3gb Ram was busy with Samsung UI and TH-cam 1080p video. So smooth performance with one thing at a time.Battery last long time,but also take very long to charge if that is okay with you.

No one seems to mention it doesnt seem to have a vibration motor not wifi uk version anyway that ive got, if thats important to you, for me it isnt, but I didnt no till I had purchased it and looking thro settings and couldnt find that option, but did a search to find this out.
