Full Takedown Coffin Dagger Build

Something I've wanted to make for a while now is a dagger and a takedown. So why not do them both at the same time? A little crazy to take on such an endeavour if you ask me, but crazy is where I live. This coffin style dagger definitely came with a ton of challenges that forced me to think and do things that I had never done with any other build but I'm stoked with how the whole thing wrapped up. This build has definitely opened a new door for me to take on and try bigger and crazier projects.

I'm pretty handy with metal. I'm a machinist for twenty years and have done lots of hand grinding and polishing, that's of machined parts though. Because I have done these things I know that I couldn't hand grind a blade out like that and get those kinda results. You have a talent my friend, beautiful job. Also, I wasn't aware until now but apparently I need a dagger 🗡

You are the only other person I've seen thread the end of a tang for a full takedown handle (I've done it once). Most of the time I see people welding a screw on. I like how you etched the brass to darken it up and give it a bronze hue. I'm going to steal that idea. You are an awesome craftsman!

There is a light that lights for your 2 x 72 is that a good one and where did you get it?

It’s an excellent light. Very strong arm and super durable. I got it on Amazon, it’s called a Moffatt 95050 lamp
