Alpharius/Omegon isn't/wasn't a traitor but his legion sure is. The Alpha legion tragedy is just like Naked Snake misunderstanding The Bosses goal at the end of MGS3. Secrecy is harmful when your allies are the ones left in the dark.

Considering it's the Alpha Legion, there might be some elements or warbands that are "secretly" loyal too, it's difficult to accurately gauge. But overall, they're probably a mostly renegade legion. Doesn't seem like they're big fans of chaos, either way.
      They're in a weird position lore-wise, I think.

@@RedHierophant23 one of my recent thoughts, is that the alpha legion plays the mark of heresy to keep the chaos factions from aligning their roles into a proper fighting machine and keeps both the cost of functioning and cooperation high enough that normal endeavors out of the eye are strictly limited to Black crusades

If you operate on a need to know basis, the people under your command don't really understand why they're doing the things they're doing or they think they're doing it for a false reason. If those in the know aren't around, their underlings are going to keep doing what they're doing.

Im usually an imperium fanboy, but i wouldnt mind both twins being alive, i find it very stupid that Rogal Dorn casually outsmarted them at their own game, and it follows the trend of Dorn being pretty much perfect during the heresy, were he isnt just stalwart, strong and a good commander, as his character is known for, but he turns out to also be quite human, good at understanding underhanded tactics better than Alpharius Omegon (for some fucking reason), and to cap it all off a top tier fighter from a Primarch that in my opinion should be more like Guilliman tier if not slightly better, thats to say, good at fighting, better than Lorgar, but not meant to kill other primarchs, he just get all the Ws in the heresy and its a bit much.

@@RedHierophant23 M8 i love the Commissar stories of WH40k a lot! Like Yarrick, Ibram Gaunt, Ciaphas Cain so i decided to carve my own path as one. He's a voidborn and not coming from the usual stock. As my roleplay choice he's a pragmatic one yet my motivation relies on forming a strong bond with my retinue and crew by my caring deeds while also preserving the order. Like the Ceasar of Julii. Loved by his subordinates and rank and file and respected by his leadership qualities. And brother its so rewarding. I don't want to be a "badass" but a leader to serve my house and above all by my actions our beloved god emperor and imperium. I'd say my character qualities and my role play lies in between Guilliman and Vulkan in a sense.
If you're thinking about making a video about the Koronus Expanse you've my best wishes and blessings brother. Because i was thinking like "dude wish i'd like to know more about that sector". You know the urge of feeling like the discoverers of past. Magellan, Columbus, Cook... Stories and gossips, serving a monarch or for the sake of wealth and fame or everything i've mentioned above draw their attention to somewhere uncharted, mysterious... Alpha legion=information & electronic warfare.
unlike the other legions their specialty of real life warfare is likely the latest form in the setting of 40k.
The salamanders is scorched earth warfare all being pyromaniacs.
Black Templers=Feudal warfare being only chapter that didn't have 2nd founding likely the most numbers.
Iron fists are basically fortifications & defence.
Iron Warriors being industrial warfare such as defence in depth which is is really offence retreat very slowly hence well suited to trench warfare as I bet the Iron warrior & the Death Korps of Krieg would be mood kindreds on much.
    White scars= mobile & mounted warfare a,
Ultramarines/ Smurfs= Hellenic-roman warfare & my extension drilled regiment, logistics & endless adaptability making them some what broken as they represent all late peak ancient warfare inadvertently. The ultramarines are not a aspect of warfare but an Entire time period which is kind of massive bias!
Technically speaking only the Black Templers show an entire time period of warfare.
The mechanicus= technological warfare & the military complex fused with religion as a theocratic state.
    The Mechanicus is peak 40k.
